More footage for the recruiting trail: Suh visits with Harbaugh
I'm honestly not sure why he (Suh) would do this, but it's a cool pic, anyway.
Great having @NdamukongSuh visit Schembechler Hall this morning! pic.twitter.com/999QaMNogR

I think it is awesome! Maybe he was doing some off-season work outs.
February 19th, 2015 at 11:14 AM ^
he have any eligibility left? Maybe take a year off from the NFL to help us win a NC?

This can only help with Harbaugh's future recruiting efforts. Plus, maybe Suh can help our d-line bring some nastyness next season.

FYI, you should probably change your avatar.

LJ... you may need to eventually change yours too for completely different reasons ;)

He's not a FA until March 10th.

When you want to make a statement:
February 19th, 2015 at 11:50 AM ^
Suh's Zubaz are specifically designed to make him look skinny... or is that fat.
Uh...on second thought... no amount of vertical lines are going to make Suh look fat just more intimidating.
February 19th, 2015 at 12:16 PM ^
Are those zebra Khakis on Suh?
February 19th, 2015 at 10:52 AM ^
Jim is suggesting he resign with the Lions....
February 19th, 2015 at 11:05 AM ^
Jim is actually trying to get Suh to join him with the Oakland Raiders, according to an ESPN source.

Horizontal stripes must be in this year. Off to the store I go!

He's doing it to craft an image. This is marketing done the right way. He's not promoting Coca-Cola or giant Kraft noodles. He's promoting an NFL image for himself.
Winston and Suh are both guys that recruits know and respect. Regardless of the dirty play, I'm not sure there is a single DL recruit that wouldn't look up to him. Adults may not like his play, but this NFL image is not being crafted for fans, it's being crafted for recruits.
Just look at the methodical nature of it -
- Hires a ton of NFL guys to coach
- Brings in the potential #1 draft pick for pre-draft training
- Has his Super Bowl winning brother come to speak
- Visited by Suh, who is at the top of the NFL despite his reputation
- ???
- Profit. (By getting top flight recruits to believe that he is their best chance at a high draft pick)

Sorry, I meant I don't know why Suh would visit with Harbaugh, not the other way around.
February 19th, 2015 at 11:02 AM ^
Maybe after he heard from Jameis that we got the dopest facilities in the country he decided to come check out the sandbox... or maybe he was asking for directions to Pizza House...
Hard to say, but its a good photo op either way!

I think Suh get's some positive PR from this. Harbaugh is also the most popular man in Michigan and having a favor owed you from him is worth showing up and saying hi.
Aside that, who knows. Maybe Suh's friend played for Harbaugh and raved about him or maybe Suh's friend's brother wants an autograph or Suh wanted to workout @ Michigan.
February 19th, 2015 at 11:43 AM ^
Harbaugh is trying to turn Schembechler Hall into the Montparnasse - but football instead of arty stuff.
February 19th, 2015 at 10:53 AM ^
looks like one ugly chick
February 19th, 2015 at 10:56 AM ^
Damn Suh is a large human...dude is a freak
February 19th, 2015 at 11:01 AM ^
I know Suh is a large man, which is why I was expecting him to tower over Harbaugh. He actually looks smaller than I was expecting in this picture.

I have no idea why Suh is there, but lets hope he spends some of his free time with our Dline while he's there. Would love to see him giving them some tips. Great picture for future recrutis to see for sure!
February 19th, 2015 at 11:43 AM ^
I'm uncomfortable with how well this works.
February 19th, 2015 at 12:51 PM ^
I'm not.
February 19th, 2015 at 11:39 AM ^
Suhhhhhh. I love the publicity The Block M is receiving. Hopefully this leads to W's somehow. I miss my old icon. I need Kate Upton back
February 19th, 2015 at 11:46 AM ^
M fans need to stop replying to Dery's trolling. I know it's a common sense response to rebutt foolish statements, but you all (M fans responding) know what he's doing. Let him exist in the echo chamber with other Sparty fans chasing after every move Michigan makes. It's where they belong and speaks for itself.

I am trying to figure out why he would wear that outfit...
February 19th, 2015 at 12:23 PM ^
like, where the hell are Harbaugh's khakis? What are those dark pants he's wearing?
February 19th, 2015 at 11:56 AM ^
There are those Seattle rumors and SF is their chief rival out west. Maybe SF is interested as well and he wants to know the truth about being a player in that organization. As a Lions fan that's grown used to being a Lions fan, I can't help but think of the anti-Lions possibilities for this meeting.
February 20th, 2015 at 12:14 AM ^
And the 49ers are out. Hello Seattle.
Or Oakland. (queue the haterz)

February 19th, 2015 at 12:14 PM ^
I'm honestly not sure why he (Suh) would do this,
Why turn down the chance to meet one of the greatest coaches of our time?
I don't know if people fully appreciate just how well-regarded Harbaugh is in the football world. I mean obviously, we love the guy because he's a Michigan legend. But it's easy to forget that everyone thinks he's an incredible coach. Jim had the #1 winning percentage in the NFL (and 5th-best of all time) when he stepped down in SF.
There is no other college coach who can claim this kind of attention from NFL guys. Saban and Meyer are rock stars, but only at the college level. Jim is one at both levels.
February 19th, 2015 at 12:34 PM ^
I agree with this, and I don't doubt that for completely non-Michigan reasons for the most part Schembechler Hall becomes a stop on the way to wherever for several players and coaches during the spring and summer so they can sit down and chat with Harbaugh when possible. I like the idea because it makes Michigan appear like a magnet in that regard and it would look good to prospective athletes. It is - in a sense - a built-in advertising campaign.
