Great to hear Great to hear! Hope we can not only start getting these west coast kids to visit but to also commit! I feel like Costello committing would open up the Californian flood gates. Work your magic Jimmy!
I have no idea

I have no idea why Suh is there, but lets hope he spends some of his free time with our Dline while he's there. Would love to see him giving them some tips. Great picture for future recrutis to see for sure!

HARBAUGH! Did he eat another pizza? Was it pepperoni? Stuffed crust? HARBAUGH!
This post is one of This post is one of the reasons why I love coming to this blog. Brian you put everything together like nobody else can. Dave Brandon truly was the scum of the earth. I hope that we learn from all of his mistakes and never go back. Go blue!
My vote is in! My vote is in!
Great read!

Great read! Thanks Magnus. Do you think theres a chance that Michigan doesn't end up with a single player from the state in the 2016 class? I think that might be a possibility. Has that ever happened before? Just curious if anyone had any insight into this. Thanks!

Anyone else feel Anyone else feel like this team at least has a chance of making a run in the big ten tournament and getting into the dance? They've had so many close losses, it's not like we've been getting blown out. With each game the freshman get more experience and Derrick Walton might be back by then. Just hoping there's a small chance we won't have to watch the NIT..
Do we know if Do we know if any of their games will be televised this year? I'm really wanting to watch this team.
I think that the proof I think that the proof is in the pudding. Barwis works with the Mets and owns his own business while Wellman had to take an assistant job.
Are you I'm kind of new to this blog.. Are you Gordon Ramsey? That meal sounds amazing!
We had dinner We went out to dinner at Lena in downtown Ann Arbor and then headed home to watch the NBA All Star festivities. We both love the NBA so it's time well spent here!
That's a good That's a good point. I guess I was just more so thinking about how crazy overpaid Wellman was. No way is he 40k a year better than Barwis.
Crazy that Wellman Crazy that Wellman made more than Barwis.. They weren't even close to being equal and Wellman made 40k more a year. Just shows you how much of a disadvantage Rich Rod was at with how much money they were willing to pay his staff.
The rule should be I think that the rule should be you either leave straight out of high school for the NBA or you have to stay in college for 3 years. That way the best of the best still get developed in the NBA while restoring the integrity and excitement of college basketball.
I don't agree

I don't agree with people who seem to think that we have to land a 5* recruit in order to compete for a national championship. Beilein has never had those types of athletes before he got to Michigan and he's been successful everywhere he's been. He's great at finding underrated athletes and turning them into stars. They may not start out as star players, but by the time they leave Michigan they are getting drafted (Caris Levert, Nik Stauskas). Attrition has hurt this team like crazy, but just give Beilein some time to develop these freshman and we will be back competing for Big and National Championships.

Wish him the best

Never really thought we had a chance with him. He likes the warm weather. I think the most telling quote for me was from his dad who said that if DJ Durkin was still at Florida he'd "probably already be there". Some kids just don't want to come north no matter how much they like a certain coach. Wish Roquan the best. On to the next one.

First official posbang

This is my first official posbang. Does this make me a posbang virgin?

Great News I've watched a ton of tape on a lot of our potential quarterbacks in the 2016 class. This kid is by far my favorite! Think Harbaugh could turn him into something special! Excited about his visit.
Seems about right

Seems about right. Utah beat us in our own stadium last year. I know we didn't have Harbaugh then, but they looked like the better team by far. I prefer to be the underdog for the first game. Just gives our team that much more motivation to work hard in the offseason. Is it September yet??

I feel like

I feel like a lot of people that can't normally afford tickets or people that have small children love going to this game because it's free. I think if we have a 70 degree day there will be 100,000 people there. If it's cold then we'll have around 50,000. There is just way too much excitement around the football program right now that would make me think there will be less than 50,000 people there. I haven't been to a spring game in years and I will definitely be there this year no matter what the temperature is.

The guy that The guy that talks about how the team should change their strategy and do what he did when he played in high school 30 years ago. The same guy claims that whatever he did in high school is fool proof and Michigan would start winning a ton of games if they just started listening to him.
Harbaugh! I personally love every single tweet of his. Keep them coming! This team is going to be exciting to watch, even in the spring!
Butt, Speight, Mone My first one would be Jake Butt. With how much TE's get used in Harbaugh offense this one is almost a no brainier. I feel like he would of had a breakout year last year if it wasn't for him having to recover from the ACL and having a quarterback that could get him the ball. He has all the talent in the world and will get a ton of opportunities to showcase his skills. My only worry for him would be making sure that we have a quarterback that can get him the ball. The next guy would be Wilton Speight. I know a lot of people have given up on the quarterbacks we already have, but I'm thinking Harbaugh can do great things with this kid and he reminds me a lot of John Navarre (but obviously quicker because my 91 year old Nanna is quicker than John was). I don't think either of the quarterbacks coming in will be able to start and I think this spring Wilton steps up and takes the reigns on the starting position. Then on defense I think there are a lot of potential breakout players but I'll go with Mone. At times to me last year he looked amazing. He really blew up some of the lower quality competition and I expect him to start blowing up the higher end competition in the Big Ten this year. There is also the huge bump that defensive tackles get between their freshman and sophomore years, as well as Greg Mattison being his position coach. As far as I can tell the sky is the limit for those three players and I love the fact that I could have picked 10 more players that I think could have breakout seasons this year too. Michigan football is on its way back!
