MBB: Youseff Khayat has transferred to BGSU
Didn’t do much here but he was a board favorite when he was recruited. Must suck to think you’re going to be coming over from Lebanon spending your college years in Ann Arbor. Then a coaching change and boom you’re stuck in Ohio! 😒😞
Last season was over after the mcneese debacle.
He should have just played.
Howard just had no plan other than to throw his hands up and say there's nothing I can do.
Huge waste of an opportunity. He looked like an interesting player with jitters he needed to play through. Why not see what you have in him? One of the more confusing decisions by Howard.

This is a Franz Wagner garbage take. Youseff is undoubtedly a fantastic human being, but he did not show out on the floor. Ever. If he was poised to kill it, May would be keeping him.
Agree. It’s too bad because I liked his potential. There is a reason he’s not transferring to Kansas. May still put it together, but seems to need at least another year
He was a board favorite because of the great experience we had with Mo and moreso Franz. And I clamored for him to play a lot, but afterwards I realized he wasn't good enough to play here.
I mean, it’s like right over the border into Ohio, so he didn’t go too far.
Only goes to Schools with a Mr. Spots.
Todd Simon is a good young coach and he is in good hands.
Bowling Green is a great college town. Hope he enjoys it
Wishing Yo Yo the best at BGSU. I was stuck in Ohio yesterday. The traffic was awful getting back into Michigan.
They have stop lights on the expressway...
"Express" is IN THE NAME.

23 isn't an expressway in Ohio.
Perhaps the eclipse had some impact
Wish him luck. He had a lot of potential but I'm interested to see if a bunch of the deep bench guys find success elsewhere and so their struggles can be ascribed to poor coaching/team play but I worry that part of UM's issues last year was that they didn't have anyone on the bench who could reasonably play at the P5 level and thus the starters had to play way more than you'd like.
It’s not just about the starters having to play more. It’s also about what you practice against. As Harbaugh has said, steel sharpens steel. Well, marshmallows don’t sharpen anything. I’m pretty sure Michigan’s starters were practicing against marshmallows.
I'm pretty sure Michigan's starters were marshmallows.

I think Harbaugh said iron sharpens iron.

I think Harbaugh said iron sharpens iron.
According to the ‘97 defense, either phrase is acceptable
To be fair, there is a Lebanon, Ohio so maybe it felt more like home
He's Lesbian?
He was gay, Gary Cooper?
I had high hopes for him. Thought he could be an X factor but clearly he didn’t get developed much by the prior regime.
Bizarre
We went to the Franz Store and asked for a Franz, and they gave us a model that needed a lot of work instead.
Oh, well. Tear it up in the MAC and come back as a 34% shooter from 3 in a couple years.
Good luck, Youseff.
Every time your name came up, it made me think of shawarma and I got hungry.

I had heard the status of many players. But I didn't check Yousseff.
Good for him. Another year like last could wreck Yousseff.
I look forward to seeing him at BG! Hope it's a nice add from my undergrad alma mater!
