Goodbye: Jaden Smith. Asks for release from NLI.
He thanks the Michigan coaches and the first 5 he names are gone. Ugh.

Again? Wow.

At first I thought this was the QB we just signed. I don't even know who this kid is. Is this a big loss?

6'3 200lb athlete. Mid 4 star. Not many notable offers. Probably another one of those gems Jay would find. Not a big loss on paper, but the Harbaugh regime was great at finding these guys.
Gonna have to reboot, replace our recruiters/scouts like Jay and Partridge and build some new relationships.

Personally, I view this as a disappointment. He was one of the pass rushers with the highest potential in that class, and that is saying something.

Thanks Jim for taking every coach with as you left. That's what you meant by passing the torch...you meant ucking Michigan the best you could on your way out.

It was the staff he put together. The goal of all competitive people is to “do it in the pros”, can’t fault Harbaugh for providing opportunities for the guys that got him to the NC. Quality guys get quality offers.

"every coach"
3 coaches (Clink, Elston, Minter) went with him. 4 if you count Herbert...
Last I checked NCAA FBS College football programs are allowed more than 3 on-field assistant coaches.

Ouch. Again. Starting to fear visiting the blog. Minter, Elston, then Clink. With all the contacts Harbaugh has, just wonder a bit. Those who stay. New beginning. Hail Coach Moore. Go Blue !

I always liked Willow better anyway. I hope his mom stops sleeping with his friends (this was a joke)

Definitely my favorite recruit in the class. Very sad

As someone who had to sit through the After Earth and the Karate Kid remake, I can't say I'll miss him.
