Keon Sabb appreciation
That early season playing time when Rod Moore was hurt really paid off. We saw the growing pains but it all paid off. He had himself a game Monday night with 2 strong PDs and tough tackles after the first series. With Quentin Johnson unable to go ( and how about his efforts all year with huge Ohio and Alabama plays ) Well done son !! And a testimony to depth and development. Michigan Men !!! Hail to them

"3" was showing up all over the place...will be a prominent fixture next year.

I legit thought that he was Dax Hill a couple of times against Washington.

Very excited to see his growth and development the next few years. He definitely shined when the lights were brightest! He's gonna be a good one!

Definitely looks like an NFL safety in the making. Sure tackler and delivers big hits.

My comments in the game thread might have lead some to believe it was a Keon Sabb appreciation thread. What a post season he had.

OP mentioned "QJo." Other significant late-season injuries were Benny and Zinter. I think UM was otherwise at full strength for the championship game. Not bad. Am I missing anyone?

Sabb rose to the occasion and made a number of really good plays in the Championship. He has an extremely bright future.
Speaking of future, I think the future of defense is going involve MOAR safeties (rotating guys, playing 3 at a time) so there'll be plenty of opportunities for other guys to step as well.

You never know with young guys development but he feels like he could be all America level in another year or so, easily

I was convinced Zeke Berry was gonna be better than Sabb, looking like the opposite so far. Very impressed with Sabb
Anybody had any Berry updates? Were they keeping the RS for him, or did he get injured?

I am a Zeke fan too-believe he is going to be very good. He red-shirted and has struggled with some injuries. I still think he is going to be a player.

He had a really solid outing in the natty which is a good sign heading into next season.

I was nervous when I saw how much run he was getting against Washington but hot damn he did great. So excited for his future

After an early screwup in the natty, he more than redeemed himself and had a bang-up game. Respekt!

Dude can play.

What happened to Quentin Johnson? I was confused at the game not seeing him play, and then seeing Paige only play a little. Was a great game by Sabb
