Coach's Apparel Source?
Does anyone have a source for the coach's apparel that we saw Harbs and co wearing during the game? Looks like Rich Eisen got ahold of some but he won't reply to people on Twitter asking for the source. Specifically looking for the navy performance hoodie with the M and jumpman on the chest below the neck.
Been looking for this since the Rose Bowl and coming up empty

Connor Stalions?

does the vast network have answers?

He was wearing CMU coach's gear on the sideline of the CMU/MSU game in September at a time when he was still employed by UofM...

Pretty sure Rich Eisen isn't buying his Michigan gear retail. When he comes to Ann Arbor and visits the team/does a pre-game speech like he did a couple years ago, the Athletic Dept loads him up on gear. If he sees something he likes he can just email/text. And honestly, for notable supporting alum they just drop care packages in the mail from time to time with team swag. He's not shopping at MDen or Dicks.

I figured as much, but I thought maybe there was a chance that it was being sold as well. One can hope.

Also, is this the one you're looking for? LINK It has existed out there at one point. But most of these are sold out of traditional retailers. You might be able to find something on Ebay or an aftermarket site. Otherwise, you just need to be diligent about looking on the handful of 'official' apparel stores (Fanatics/MDen) for when they have new items or restock.

alright I'm not terminally online here enough to know what that means. I typically lurk, throw me a biscuit and fill me in?

WD = WolverineDevotee, a prolific former poster here who was unfortunately banned for repeatedly violating MGoForum rules.
He also happens to be the poster who released an email that someone close to him had received from David Brandon, which set off a chain of events that ultimately resulted in Brandon's resignation.

WD also posted about Michigan apparel a lot and seemed to purchase a great deal of it himself. He once posted a picture of his bedroom which was stuffed with Michiganalia. He also claimed to be working on a massive book devoted to all things Michigan called the Superguide. He's quite a character.

LOL thanks. This is my second apparel post in like 10 years. I'm hopefully safe.

But was it a Manifesto?

A few have typed it, more have thought it: WD = CS ???

He's very active on Reddit, if anyone wants to ask him apparel questions

WD would have had the answer, not the question.

have we determined that he wasn't Connor Stalions?

WD is Conor Stalions but faster.

oh dope, thank you. I have zero clue how I missed this.

all out of stock

There's a whole slew of Nike/Jordan stuff the staff gets but is not, and will never be for sale. That cowl M hoodie Harbaugh has with the maize pulltab straps, I'd drop coin on one in a second. But emphatically team-issue only. I presume VIPs like Eisen, Desmond, etc. get freebies when they come to town.

This all day long!!! One of my wife's best friends works for Nike and we can get a lot of Michigan stuff through him but the coaches/team stuff is a no go...
Adidas did the same thing, but all they did was sell exact same thing to the public but that version had one minor difference from what the coaches/team had. Usually the coaches/team stuff had a Michigan helmet on it, ans the sell to the public version had a block M on it...

I definitely feel like I’ve seen Woodson wearing Michigan stuff that isn’t available anywhere else a ton. In particular he had this awesome Michigan 97 national championship hoodie he wore to a recent Ohio State game that I’ve never seen available anywhere before.
Just like a lot of the team issued gear for the Rose Bowl, which looked awesome but mostly wasn’t for sale.

I know the one you're referring to and THAT is the holy grail of Michigan gear.

Those sweatshirts were made by/for the '97 team reunion last season, they all had them on. It's a sweatshirt version of the '97 NC locker room hats. Would buy one in a hot second.

Mden had some awesome 97 national championship shirts they put out around that time which I snapped up but I absolutely buy that hoodie if it ever became available.
Sometimes I wonder why they don't sell some of this stuff when it would obviously sell like crazy.

I saw a staffer in one photo with a Lululemon tee with just the rose bowl logo on the chest and I spent an hour trying to track it down.

The Rose Bowl foundation has its own merch operation that makes stuff like this, probably came from there if it wasn't M-specific. That's where Joel Klatt's beautiful Rose Bowl hats come from.

Checked there and didn't see anything... If they sold it to the public it's long gone by now
January 10th, 2024 at 1:44 AM ^
OK, thanks guys, just tossed 200 bucks at gear. I did need some new performance/workout shirts for the gym and some new hoodies, so why the hell not.

I've wondered this. I've wanted the hat Sherrone Moore wears for a couple months and just can't find it
January 10th, 2024 at 8:58 AM ^
What size are you? I saw an ad on FB the other day for M gear on Poshmark and, well, yeah. If you're a bigger dude, this isn't the EXACT one linked (the Jumpman and M are inverted) but it might work for you.

Somewhat off-topic here, but this is related to “Michigan gear”.
I bought a “team” golf bag from MDen a few years ago. It was the worst golf bag I’ve ever owned. I won’t go into why; there’s a lot going on in a golf bag. Suffice to say, I can’t believe the teams carry them.
So, like in football, it seems there’s merch for the elites and of course the teams, but the rest of us don’t get to have it, which I find annoying.
Related to this, I’m also annoyed by the fact that the U is hyper protective of any use of the block M. It’s certainly their prerogative to be that way, and yet they let the Championship committee bastardize it with a cheesy marbled, off white version in their graphics. Did anybody else notice that?
