Something just doesn’t checkout about the whole narrative about McCord and the OSU QB situation. You’re telling me the starting OSU QB who had in the grand scheme of things a good season and went 11-1 ends up at Syracuse? that makes no sense

Agreed. But if you don't like or trust your own HC and fanbase for essentially throwing you under the bus why not leave? And throw in what McCord knows about the lack of OSU's OL development and what their offense will look like next year missing its best player against that schedule and it's as good a choice as any.

The schadenfreude is great. Starting for one of the top teams in the country, going 11-1, playing well, throwing 24tds to only 6ints his 1st year starting. You'd have to imagine he was run out, or not liking his nfl development at OSU, or maybe both. I understand he has connections to the Syracuse staff, so I hope he does even better there.

Doesn’t know they have a football team? SU has one of the top-20 largest college football fanbases.
Are you basing your ignorance on the football team’s performance or that it doesn’t play in a 100,000 seat stadium?

I wish McCord well. He really got a rough go of it at OSU, a team that didn’t fit his style of play very well. I do wish OSU a century of apocalyptic mediocrity.
