Harbaugh Goes to Hospital to be with Zinter
What does our suspended coach do? He supports his players.
Sign the contract extension!!

What a fucking legend of a Coach. I Love the Shit out of Harbaugh. This man gets it!
November 26th, 2023 at 12:57 AM ^
It's just who he is. Not home wallowing in self-pity over the suspension or out in public stealing the limelight after the victory. It's not about him. That makes him extraordinary in this day and age.
November 26th, 2023 at 1:43 AM ^
For he's a jolly good fellow...
November 26th, 2023 at 8:16 AM ^
If I could be half as selfless a man as coach, I would happy. This guy is not only a hard worker on the field but he works himself to be the best he can be off the field as well. What you see is what you get and that’s a great human being.
November 26th, 2023 at 12:47 AM ^
Harbaugh is a legend ✅
Zinger is a legend ✅
Adversity only makes both of them stronger ✅
November 26th, 2023 at 1:21 PM ^
Zinger, man!
November 26th, 2023 at 12:48 AM ^
Why wouldn't he? Zinter exemplifies all this shit!!! Ask Blake Corum!!!
November 26th, 2023 at 1:05 AM ^
The clock says 415 and Harbaugh is there. Was he at the hospital waiting on Zinter and family to get there? Wow what a coach
November 26th, 2023 at 1:55 AM ^
I wonder if Harbaugh can get a police escort on demand in Ann Arbor. Otherwise getting across town right after a game that fast is damn impressive.
November 26th, 2023 at 5:02 AM ^
I hope he didn't because Cryin' Day's PI firm is undoubtedly following Harbaugh around 24/7 and will convince Petitti to suspend Harbaugh for another 3 games under some bullshit, unprecedented rule.
November 26th, 2023 at 5:43 AM ^
Harbaugh anonymously reported to Big Ten for speeding on way to hospital with video evidence.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:24 AM ^
That’s not what I heard. Traffic. Bad, so he walked, ran, and biked to the hospital.
While he was running, he essentially “jaywalked” as he crossed from one side of Observatory to the other.
It sounds like Petitti is evaluating whether “running to get there faster” - violates how Tony thinks of a level field - and he’s sure there are Sportsmanship implications.
Thamel and Finebaum are advocating a full year suspension - because Harbaugh was with the team “in spirit” all day on Saturday. This violated the “not being present at the venue” of the Petitti B1G ruling.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:56 AM ^
Harbaugh lives 2 mins from the hospital and there is no game traffic that way.
November 26th, 2023 at 6:29 AM ^
Double post
November 26th, 2023 at 6:31 AM ^
Terrific news. Hope Zak comes back even stronger.
November 26th, 2023 at 6:45 AM ^
I think he lives in Burns Park area, so it's pretty close to the hospital. And, during the game, traffic in A2 is pretty light. I'm sure he was on the phone with the team docs, so he knew what was going on and where to be. But, I think that looks like a post op wrap on the leg, not a pre op leg in an air cast, so maybe the clock is wrong?
November 26th, 2023 at 7:03 AM ^
Insta post said it was after surgery. Was it 4:15 am or pm?
November 26th, 2023 at 8:58 AM ^
In picture with Harbaugh, Zinter still has a glove on right hand. No way he is still wearing that 12 + hours later and after surgery. Confirmation that it was 415 PM.
November 26th, 2023 at 8:08 AM ^
Zinter was takin to the Hospital before the game ended. The injury happened in about 2 minutes left in 3rd quarter so that was between 2:45pm eastern time. Him being at the hospital at 4:15pm makes sense.
November 26th, 2023 at 10:03 AM ^
I'll bet he went straight to the hospital when he saw the cart. Before the game even ended. He's that kind of person...
November 26th, 2023 at 1:04 AM ^
Michigan Man, both.
November 26th, 2023 at 1:06 AM ^
Not the way we wanted Zak's last appearance in Maize and Blue to end, but he'll soon be part of the growing list of excellent M alums playing OL on Sunday! Thanks Zak!! ... Now to win three more for the Z-man!
November 26th, 2023 at 1:45 AM ^
Win for Zin!
November 26th, 2023 at 1:08 AM ^
Glad he got his big ten east champs hat.
November 26th, 2023 at 1:09 AM ^
Double
November 26th, 2023 at 1:16 AM ^
Cannot ask for a better man to head this ship.
November 26th, 2023 at 1:20 AM ^
He's a hell of a coach and person. We are at the place where we thought we would be 9 years ago when he came to coach Michigan. Well, almost. A few more wins would be nice.
November 26th, 2023 at 1:29 AM ^
Hope for a speedy recovery to Mr.Zinter. Nobody personifies Michigan football more than him.
November 26th, 2023 at 2:29 AM ^
The look of someone after repeatedly getting picked off 3rd Base in the last inning with the potential winning run at the plate.
November 26th, 2023 at 2:34 AM ^
And the look of a man that sold himself to the devil and didn't get anything in return.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:04 AM ^
I thought he was stranded on third base. The game was a classic thrill of victory and agony of defeat experience. I was glad to have the thrill.
November 26th, 2023 at 10:05 AM ^
That was Auburn's experience... We didn't taste any defeat yesterday!
November 26th, 2023 at 5:30 AM ^
I did see a report that Ryan Day took a couple of minutes to console Zak's parents as they were waiting for him to come off the field. As much as I despise Day, that's a classy move if true.
November 26th, 2023 at 11:33 AM ^
Dictators will kiss babies in front of cameras to build their "I'm not a monster" cred.
Harbaugh couldn't console Zak's parents at the time because Day prevented him from being there.
Fuck Day.
November 26th, 2023 at 9:30 AM ^
Imagine his inner thoughts knowing he was beaten despite Harbaugh not being present.
Interesting stat
Michigan has punted the ball once in the second half of the last three Michigan-Ohio State games combined.

Gosh I love Harbaugh
can we do an 8 year $100m contract now and have Ono and Jim to a huge presser about it just to piss off more people?
November 26th, 2023 at 8:08 AM ^
Nah, sign it quietly. Then have Jim announce it on the podium after Pettiti hands him the trophy next Saturday.
November 26th, 2023 at 11:36 AM ^
It's not about the contract as much as the buyout. Like it needs to be $40M or something!
November 26th, 2023 at 2:43 AM ^
Heal up Zak. I hope my Giants draft you in the 2nd or 3rd round because boy we need you,
November 26th, 2023 at 8:14 AM ^
As a Giants fan myself, I would love either him or Keegan. We need Oline bad.
November 26th, 2023 at 2:44 AM ^
Jim Harbaugh oozes leadership out of every pore of his body.
It's imperative that he is kept at the helm of Michigan Football until the day he retires from coaching.
Please make it happen by Christmas, Santa (and Warde)!
November 26th, 2023 at 2:52 AM ^
This is the way!
November 26th, 2023 at 3:44 AM ^
Your people and performers are always your priorities.
Jim Harbaugh learned this long ago.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:49 AM ^
Not only does he lead the young men whose development he is charged with, he mentors young coaches for their success in the future. You’ll see that when his current crop are all head coaches. It will also not be lost on the next generation of coaching superstars that Michigan is the place to be for development and visibility.
No wonder the other coaches in the B1G want to chase him to the NFL. To Hell with them.
November 26th, 2023 at 5:40 AM ^
None of this is surprising. It’s who he is and why every player on the team would give every last breath they have to never give up on the field for the guy. Leaders lead, and Harbaugh is a true leader, coach and friend!
November 26th, 2023 at 6:05 AM ^
Not surprised, this is what a leader of young Men does. Wish he’d been there at the game to support him, screw the big ten and the ncaa.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:27 AM ^
I love this man
November 26th, 2023 at 7:28 AM ^
I hope Zak makes a complete recovery. Glad Harbs was able to be there for him and his family.
