OT: Cougs and Beavers now only two members of Pac12 board
Judge rules in favor of WSU and OSU , will be appealed of course but leverage is all on their side now. Assuming it will be settled out of court, but +1 for the underdogs.

Technically they can declare all remaining 10 teams ineligible for Pac12 championship.
😂 …Obviously won’t do that but still funny has hell
November 14th, 2023 at 8:31 PM ^
I would support an oregon state vs washington state pac-2 championship
November 14th, 2023 at 10:39 PM ^
I mean, fair is fair. SC tried to get Wazzu kicked out of the PAC10 for decades.
November 14th, 2023 at 8:33 PM ^
They should summarily suspend Lincoln Riley
November 14th, 2023 at 9:16 PM ^
Why would they do something so charitable to USC?
November 14th, 2023 at 8:36 PM ^
good on them. i hope they absolutely pillage what is left of all the P12 assets and laugh all the way to their new conference.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:33 PM ^
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: reverse merger with the MWC and keep the Pac-12 brand alive. Obviously they need to install a better commissioner, though. The current guy's a clown.
November 14th, 2023 at 11:02 PM ^
I agree. Most likely to happen
November 16th, 2023 at 12:20 PM ^
That has always been the logical conclusion to this situation.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:34 PM ^
I think they want to rebuild the PAC by adding new members (likely a merge with MWC under the PAC name).
November 14th, 2023 at 8:36 PM ^
The order says the conference must treat the other 10 members in a "fair and open manner" so they definitely cannot declare them all ineligible.
November 14th, 2023 at 8:39 PM ^
Arbitrarily and capriciously declaring someone ineligible is fair and open, according to the Big Ten.
November 14th, 2023 at 8:46 PM ^
Clearly all the other teams violated "sportsmanship policies" by leaving the conference.
November 14th, 2023 at 8:49 PM ^
It’s at the discretion of the Commish /s.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:46 PM ^
But don’t they know we’re leaving
November 14th, 2023 at 8:37 PM ^
I would totally declare all the leaving teams ineligible for Pac12 championship.
Commissioners can do whatever they want, right?
November 14th, 2023 at 8:38 PM ^
I like cougars' beavers.
November 14th, 2023 at 11:12 PM ^
With your mom as the role model, I can see why.
November 14th, 2023 at 8:38 PM ^
That title... There's a joke in there somewhere
November 14th, 2023 at 8:48 PM ^
Franz Wagner did it above. Let me see if I can remember everything from one of the other threads...
Pac-2 should still have a Pac-2 After Dark which features Cougars Beavers and Penix should transfer in (and out and in and out) and the occasional South Carolina 'Cocks could occasionally be invited in, and they might enjoy it more now that there are no Trojans.
November 14th, 2023 at 8:52 PM ^
Your scenario sounds like the perfect for an Orji in the endzone.
November 14th, 2023 at 8:59 PM ^
Well, two's company, anything more is an Orji
November 14th, 2023 at 9:28 PM ^
The Cougars and Beavers are ideally positioned in the PAC…. They are the west coast teams and the perfect mascots for the segment of the entertainment industry known as “porn”. A match made in…. (you fill in the blank)…
November 14th, 2023 at 10:27 PM ^
Unfortunately there are no teams out there with Step Mom or Step Dad mascots.
November 14th, 2023 at 8:44 PM ^
If the Pac-2 get all the money, the Pac-4 might be interested in our deal for the new Super Conference we're starting.
November 14th, 2023 at 11:10 PM ^
They are no really talking much money. I believe it is between 40 and 50 million. The Big10 pays each team about 58 million annually.
November 15th, 2023 at 8:03 AM ^
The media money from this year they two teams are now in charge of
November 14th, 2023 at 8:53 PM ^
If they have a windfall of money could they buy us from the BigTen?
November 14th, 2023 at 8:54 PM ^
So . . . we leave the Big Ten and join the Pac 2. With all the money the Pac 2 gets to keep, split 3 ways, we can cover our revenue losses from leaving the Big Ten. This will hold us over until the NCAA collapses and all of college football becomes one superconference.
November 14th, 2023 at 11:13 PM ^
Plus 1 for Leave It To Beaver reference. It was by far the best of all the old kid/family shows.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:01 PM ^
Michigan should join them.
November 15th, 2023 at 1:07 AM ^
Pounding beavers and cougars sure would be a relief after all the Spartans, Bucknuts, and Nittany Lions (I know we're wolverines but still...).
November 14th, 2023 at 9:04 PM ^
Time to join the Pac 2.
Start new football only nationwide conference, with relegation format and more income based on top tier success. FSU and Clemson would follow soon.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:10 PM ^
this is funny as hell
November 14th, 2023 at 9:11 PM ^
"America's conference"
November 14th, 2023 at 9:12 PM ^
They should most definitely do that.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:13 PM ^
Nice.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:14 PM ^
Hopefully they can keep all the money since everyone else screwed them.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:18 PM ^
I'm interested to see what they pull off and where they go with this. Would be pretty gnarly if they're able to create the national-super conference type situation that some have been positing around these parts lately.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:18 PM ^
Tony Petitti getting some ideas about how he can keep Michigan out of the playoffs is my guess.
Also, this is great news for the Cougs and the Beavers and I hope they use all the money afforded to them to find a good landing spot.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:25 PM ^
Beavers and cougars; why, it’s a veritable who’s who of fuzzy wet fletcherizers and ferocious felines
November 14th, 2023 at 9:56 PM ^
The Pac-2 lives.
This is a glorious chapter, however brief it might be, in this dumb sport that all of us love.
November 14th, 2023 at 10:26 PM ^
I was looking at 24/7 team rankings today and FML OSU has a sick class again like 180129102910 5 stars but seeing Oregon and USC etc there was jarring.
November 15th, 2023 at 3:14 AM ^
"Technically they can declare all remaining 10 teams ineligible for Pac12 championship."
Maybe they should keep the championship as it is, but replace the trophy with a canned ham.
