Whatā€™s more likely?

1. That Stalions or someone got on CMUā€™s bench and none of the people around him thought to question who he was or alert security? Heā€™s standing next to a guy with a headset often, that guy never once thought to ask who the new guy is?

2. CMU knows more than they are saying. Even if itā€™s as innocent as the guys dressed like and standing next to him saying, ā€œwe kept asking who he was but nobody responded so we didnā€™t want to piss off the coaching staff by insulting someone because the coaches are so mean and controlling to usā€

Based on those photos, and the fact that they were allegedly taken a day apart, I'm going on the record to say it's not him. The ears are different, one guy's ears are lower than the other's, but the thing that says no to me is the beard. He's clean shaven in the photo with the goatee and the next day, he has a pretty good shadow, but it's also shaved in a shape to suggest he's now trying to grow a beard just on his jawline. (Talked to my husband about this, re: the shaving, to see what's plausible and he agrees)

I don't know why I didn't realize until last night that McElwain was CMU's head coach.

He spent that year with us; seems like he'd probably have at least recognized Stalions. Or maybe complete unnoticeability is his super power?

Yeah, hilarious as it is Iā€™m thinking heads are gonna roll on this one ā€¦ how did he get the outfit? Had everything down to the shoes. Wonder what he did at half time?! Extended bathroom break?

I think it's obviously Stalions.

I think he was using this game to experiment with his gear.

I think the overall advantage is minimal.

If you think someone has your signs and you're too lazy to run the plays in or make a wristband then you deserve the ass beating you just took.

I'm disappointed that Michigan hired this kid to do anything.

If that really was Stalions dressed as a CMU coach on the sidelines - and at this point it's very possible that it was - then he's got a massive combination of nuts and dementia this side of Harbaugh. Only, he has completely lost fuck all control and brings nothing positive.

I feel like at this point Stalions is about to become a verb, at least in the greater Michigan community. His legend will mutate in unpredictable and uncontrollable ways. Like Ephialtes or Steve Bartman, his actions and the collision with greater events demands that his story becomes some kind of lore.

I wonder what kind of verb he will become..

Dumb question (and no Iā€™m not excusing it) but how does being on CMUā€™s sideline benefit UM? What would he see that is MSU related? The signs from MSUā€™s sideline?

this whole story and behavior is so dumb I just canā€™t comprehend why this even started that would have led UM (directly or not) to go down this path.

Just thinking/wondering where is Connor Stalions?? Heā€™s gotta be hiding out a fugitive from the world right now? Probably barely in any contact with the outside world? I hope on a personal note his head is in a good place, and realizes this is not the end all be all in what he can accomplish in life.

Does he actually legally have to answer questions in front of the NCAA or the big ten?

He has not a committed a crime in the real world context, correct?

Eventually one day down the road, we will get the real whole story correct? 60mins, dateline, espn exclusive?

I actually don't think it's him. The mouth, shape of the shoulders, arms, facial hair, all look different. And the "smoking gun" of the guy supposedly hiding his face looks like the guy was backing up, almost tripped on some cables/equipment, and looked down and back to avoid falling. I could be wrong, but that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
