Cowherd goes full Harbaugh Stan, and Shits on Sparty :)
I know many don't like Cowherd or many of the sports industry talking heads, but this was an epic rant on how trash Sparty is and backs up Harbaugh.

+1 Cowherd

I love how fast the media narrative has turned this in to an NCAA witch hunt, as it clearly is…
October 20th, 2023 at 6:16 PM ^
We're all just searching for signals of when this all will end.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:28 PM ^
Well, as long as you don’t send anyone out to large public stadiums filled with 35k to 110k people to record those events, perhaps with an iPhone that everyone on Earth now carries, that’s ok. Otherwise…

I’m celebrating with chic filet
October 20th, 2023 at 6:20 PM ^
It's the blue wall bro.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:20 PM ^
Because Harbaugh does the right thing and says the NCAA should share revenue with players he is a target.
October 20th, 2023 at 8:41 PM ^
They must believe he's virtue SIGNALING.
GASP!
October 20th, 2023 at 10:30 PM ^
I SEE what you did there.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:04 PM ^
That was awesome! Cowherd just went to the top of my list! I love how he mocked Sparty about player safety. The only thing I didn't like was him saying that Michigan sent a staffer to games, which, of course, hasn't been proved.
October 21st, 2023 at 8:51 AM ^
At my sons house and he had PTI on.. Both Wilbon and Kornheiser were blasting MSU and their comments about their concerns for their safety..

Colin Cowherd has always been a big Harbaugh Stan, including the seasons we've struggled under Harbaugh. I know there was that one real awkward interview when Jim went on his old ESPN show years back (2015-ish?), but even after that I remember Colin not really thinking anything differently of him and acknowledging some of that was his fault for poor questioning.
Good clip by the way
October 20th, 2023 at 6:10 PM ^
He asked Jim if Michigan was now a buy, (like buy or sell) and Jim thought he was asking if Michigan was now a bye (easy win). It was frustrating to watch, because it didn't get cleared up until later.
October 21st, 2023 at 3:05 AM ^
I forgot about that interview. It was a rough listen.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:12 PM ^
That was kinda juicy... I like it!
And he's right!!
October 20th, 2023 at 6:12 PM ^
That is the best response I've heard to date.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:15 PM ^
Cowherd is a pretty smart guy and I generally have liked him.
He is able to speak for hours at a time and remain interesting - this is VERY hard to do.
Also, he is a huge Michigan guy these days.
As such, I love Cowherd.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:16 PM ^
OK, so Finebaum and Cowherd have both defended Michigan. Unless the weathers a little different on the east side of the state, Hell has not frozen over yet.
October 20th, 2023 at 8:06 PM ^
LOL. I feel dirty. We sound like we are in SEC now. All controversial media personnel fawning over us.
October 20th, 2023 at 8:16 PM ^
At least the SEC stands up for its teams unlike our conference.
October 20th, 2023 at 9:50 PM ^
Our conference stands up for its teams.....except for us.
But to make up for it, they stand up for Ohio State twice as much.
October 20th, 2023 at 11:47 PM ^
Pretty much. They fight but still stick together
October 20th, 2023 at 6:18 PM ^
Harbaugh has issued a new statement:
"OK, Ok, ok..... You have me figured out. If you watch all the video moniters in Schembechler Hall you can clearly see ALL of the coaching staff go into different rooms to watch video of our opponents and not come out for 12 hours at a time. That is all a charade. There is a secret door in the back of each room and we all exit and go eat steaks and drink milk the whole time"
October 20th, 2023 at 6:19 PM ^
That was glorious.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:29 PM ^
Indeed
October 20th, 2023 at 6:20 PM ^
Speaking of Sparty being trash…..the word on the street down here in Bloomington is that Michigan State was the one that released all of this info to the press. The NCAA didn’t plan to announce anything publicly unless they found something substantial.
The NCAA and Big Ten conference discussed the signal stealing and then the Big Ten informed MSU ahead of the matchup this weekend. MSU decided to get it out to the media to get some heat off of them because of Tucker and the tunnel incident last year. They want to also paint Michigan in a bad light. Also IU officials knew about this before it was reported to the media.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:35 PM ^
Not like the team needs it, it's a veteran team who knows all to well about this rivalry. But, if there was ever a game where they come out super motivated, this is it. Not to mention, with the price of tickets right now there's a good chance the stadium turns into the Little Big House.
I'm sure the coaches are using every single inch of this to motivate the team. "They think you have to cheat to be great, they think the only reason you dominate is because you cheat, they were scared to play you because they think you cheat...." Rewatching the videos from the tunnel would have been enough, but add in this bullshit and MSU might want to reconsider playing Michigan.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:42 PM ^
It amazing how dumb MSU really is.
The only chance they had this weekend was if Michigan was looking past them and not focused.
Now, they have Michigan's full attention.
Plus, they look like horrible now that it's clear they leaked this and were looking for a way out of the game.
What the hell is wrong with those folks?
October 20th, 2023 at 7:01 PM ^
Like multiple events over the past, oh, five years havent already occasioned you to ask that question?
October 20th, 2023 at 7:26 PM ^
Never underestimate the unhinged parts of the MSU or OSU fanbase. I made the mistake of reading YouTube comments and the denizens of sparty were comparing it to the sexual shower misconduct under Paterno at PSU.
They have no perception of glass houses
October 20th, 2023 at 7:07 PM ^
That certainly wouldn't surprise me given how simultaneously vague and grandiose the conveniently timed accusations were.
October 20th, 2023 at 7:29 PM ^
Why would the B1G do that?
It just seems like the conference went out of their way to fuck over Michigan. It was completely unnecessary and dumb on their part. They should publicly apologize because they tainted one of their biggest schools for nothing.
October 20th, 2023 at 8:57 PM ^
Well, allegations were made that legitimately require an investigation. What was the Conference supposed to do?
We are a member of the Big Ten Conference and the NCAA. I hope we abide by it's rules. I hope no wrong doing took place.
If rules were broken, Harbaugh will be held responsible even if he had no knowledge of it, as he is the Head Coach.
Some want to rationalize rule breaking, citing worse examples committed by others. I find that unfortunate. We extol the Michigan Difference and I hope we continue to do so even when inconvenient.
Some advocate leaving the NCAA. That's absurd fantasyland stuff. And to those who think Michigan can never get a bowl ban because of its impact on tv ratings, I'll remind them that plenty of people watched games during the Rich Rod and Hoke years.
So, let things play out. Hopefully with good results.
October 20th, 2023 at 10:44 PM ^
You got like, stock in the NCAA or something? The only "Michigan Difference" going on here is Michigan getting different and unfair treatment by the governing bodies surrounding it.
October 21st, 2023 at 1:07 AM ^
Hmmm.,.... So, if NCAA screws up who is held responsible? NCAA held all coaches responsible even when they were involved directly but if Harbaugh or coaches didn't know Harbaugh to be held responsible. Right....
NCAA should have done the investigation and so should have B1G. This leaking crap should have never happened. Is NCAA going to hold someone responsible? No. You do realize that results don't matter. All that matters is rumors and shade. Truth has got nothing to do with it.
October 20th, 2023 at 7:42 PM ^
Literally what I've been speculating from the beginning.
October 20th, 2023 at 8:03 PM ^
If true, Michigan needs to completely humiliate them tomorrow night. Complete and utter dominance. And then gloat and throw it in their faces at the end of the game. This is just bullshit.
October 20th, 2023 at 8:13 PM ^
They should hang as many points as possible … total embarrassment … our backups can hang 50 on the bastards if unleashed!!!
October 20th, 2023 at 11:36 PM ^
Lines up. I did think msu leaked it on Thursday 2 days before the game as a distraction. Also the athletic article was clearly a sparty source
October 21st, 2023 at 10:45 AM ^
Honestly it felt a little too coincidental that this came out during Sparty week.
I look forward to the game later.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:21 PM ^
His segment with Brock Huard was even better.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:24 PM ^
On a side note, I'm loving the plan for facility upgrades in Schembechler Hall.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:27 PM ^
The vastness of the network extends further than anyone thought.
October 20th, 2023 at 6:36 PM ^
Damn. Spot on!
October 20th, 2023 at 6:38 PM ^
This means just one thing: beat the pants off them tomorrow. I mean literally. I won't be happy if one Spartan is still wearing pants when the clock strikes 0:00 tomorrow.

MJ14
Wasn't Urban Meyer supposed to have been on the MSU campus to help them with their search? Perhaps he is the one who suggested going public with these allegations. Urban and Ryan Day can't stand the thought of losing to Michigan and need to invent reasons why they lost. Dantonio would be only too happy to follow directions. Maybe that Mork's "secret formula" that Harlon Barnett spoke about earlier in the week.
