Thank you Seth! I've won my pool 2 of the past 5 years using your tool. Your tool really is magnificent.

I tried to learn to…

I tried to learn to snowboard when I was around 26, after a trip or two I gave up and switched to skiing. Getting to the point where you are having fun is waaaayyy easier on skis than snowboard. One caveat that I'll add tho is that I've never been described as nimble or coordinated.

From what I remember, when snowboarding when I fell it was almost always because I caught an edge and fell forward, often in quite a violent manner. Even in my mid-20s I could hardly walk after a day of getting the wind knocked out of me.

With skiing, when I fall its almost always on my butt and in more of a sliding manner. The impact isn't nearly as violent.

Another thing to keep in mind is your mobility. When snowboarding you have one foot locked in and one foot free. For short trips you are often faster than skiers who don't have the free foot to help with mobility. For longer trips, or uphill trips, the skier will just unclip and walk, while totally unclipping from a snowboard is much more difficult.

And the IRS doesn't care…

And the IRS doesn't care where you got the money or for what, only that you paid your taxes on it.

The IRS is more than happy to collect your taxes from drug sales and illegal gambling. And they are more than willing to throw you in jail for not paying taxes on those items.

It was very easy to write…

It was very easy to write off 2020 as not a real season. There were many special cause events that year that would indicate the results aren't predictive of the future.

For basketball, this is just another season like all the others. There is nothing special about this season that would excuse the poor roster management or lack of desire in the players.

With Harbaugh there was a record of continued high level success, albeit with the lack of success vs OSU.

For Howard every season has gotten worse in some manner. It's much the same situation as with Hoke. A great first year with someone else's players, and then a step back every single year, concluding in a season full of comical errors.

It's not so much the record this season that's the problem, it's the trajectory and the total lack of any cohesive plan. The team is a total mess and there is no clear way to fix it.

The main problem in 2020 was our defense. Harbaugh could point to Brown and say I have a good way to fix this problem. What can Howard do to turn this shit show around? We suck on D, we can't shoot, we can't rebound. It's not a single problem that needs fixing, it's the entire team.

Exactly. He was JUST given a…

Exactly. He was JUST given a raise to make him the highest paid S&C coach. We would have had to double it from there to keep him. Which means he would have been more than double the next highest. That is so far out of line from what the market dictates it would have bordered on malpractice to pay it.

2 years for position coach

2 years for position coach

3 years for coordinator

These are typical terms yeah. HC needs to be flexible in his staff and long contracts hinder that flexibility.

Don't worry. You don't even…

Don't worry. You don't even need to go to the article. All the names are in the URL.

What magical plan do you…

What magical plan do you think he should have made to prevent Harbaugh from offering his former coaches more money and less responsibility to come to the NFL?

Should he have preemptively given them all $5mil contracts? By all accounts he opened up the pocket books to try and retain them. But with Harbaugh is offering the same or more money to coach professionals, have an actual off season and not have to constantly recruit it's gonna be hard to keep them.

So you mean we should go…

So you mean we should go back in time and unhire Moore so that we can bring in someone from outside so that can bring their entire staff with them?

Or should we somehow convince our coaches to take a lower position and less money with more responsibility to remain at Michigan vs the NFL?

Or is it all the players that entered the transferred that you like so much about the Bama situation?

I don't understand how only…

I don't understand how only one team in the big ten has a negative second half scoring margin. Seems like the plusses and minuses should even put to zero right?

Are these actually the worst 4 teams, or did they just pick these 4 teams to create a narrative?

Downvoted for clickbait…

Downvoted for clickbait title. Do better.

From the RUMORS I heard,…

From the RUMORS I heard, Herbert wanted 10 years. That's an insanely long timeframe, especially when the HC only has a 5 year contract. It handcuffs any HC's ability to make staff changes if necessary when they have a contract that long.

The rumors that I've see…

The rumors that I've see have the current highest paid S&C coach in the NFL making ~$750k. Harbaugh is offering Herbert close to $2M. At some point you just give up.

They are close. They have 4…

They are close. They have 4. But only 2 are uncontested, so like 3? At this rate it will only take them approximately 270 more years to get to 30.

AHH my bad. Its Hail! Impact that is a 503.c charity.

Reminder: Champions Circle is a charity

EDIT: Doh, Hail! Impact is the charity, not Champions Circle.

I'd argue that JJs one…

I'd argue that JJs one handed snag of Edwards lateral is more in the spirit of Jumpman while being football specific. The Roman catch is awesome, but the pose doesn't convey a sense of flying like Jumpman does. He just kinda looks like he's standing spread eagle.

I think if you are going to have a unique version of Jumpman that's for football, it should maintain the same spirit. If you want to go a totally different route that's fine too, but when you remove the other visual clues from Romans awesome catch it just kinda looks like a dude standing spread eagle.

I don't mind a good tiktok, but that was seriously low effort. And you failed to post the link properly. Do better.

How the fuck is he not prepared to answer that question?

The NCAA doesn't make near…

The NCAA doesn't make near enough revenue to pay the athletes directly. It will always come from the schools. It's like saying the NFL should directly compensate the players, of course they don't. That's up to the teams.

For reference the NCAA has around $200mil a year in administrative costs and other business costs. With over 500k student athletes, that would be around $400 per athlete per year.

Hey Alex. You got their kickers stats wrong. You should probably fix it before he gets angry and starts dropping 75 yard bombs on first down

This is just a lot of words…

This is just a lot of words of baseless speculation on the part of XM. He's pissed off and twisting the facts to suit his narrative.

I stopped reading when you…

I stopped reading when you said Harbaugh was not a named party in the litigation. He was in fact the lead party. The board of regents was second.

The funniest thing is to…

The funniest thing is to hire on harbaugh as QB coach for the game.

Also, it's important to…

Also, it's important to remember that Harbaugh himself isn't suspended. The head coach is. The conference hasn't punished harbaugh himself, only the team (their words not mine). They have no justification for not giving him the wins should we win on Saturday.

I'll bet you a very large…

I'll bet you a very large sum of money that they don't. The Michigan+ OSU bars don't add up to the sum other all the other bars. PSU for instance does respectably.

Michigan + Ohio state have…

Michigan + Ohio state have been in like 41 games over 4mil. This should be 39 games that are with other ppl. There are 48 other games that other teams have had 4mil viewers. That leaves 9 games, with 11 being accounted for by psu.

I'll admit it. I considered not clicking. Then I did anyway. And I got what I expected.

Ass has once again been overtaken.

And that's been about it as…

And that's been about it as far as the NCAA is concerned. The same guy who gave the NCAA the info is giving it to the media. The reports have come from "sources at the universities" and "sources at the big ten" and crap like that. The NCAA has been mute on the situation as has Michigan.

Meh, the NCAA hasn't done…

Meh, the NCAA hasn't done anything bad thus far regarding sign gate. It's the media doing it all

Oh my gawd. You just casually gonna murder Iowa like that?

Your title is confusing. Is…

Your title is confusing. Is the OT for Over Time or for Off Topic? What does this have to do with the UFR's? Do you mean something other than Upon Further Reviews?

As far as the content of your post, how is this any different than current OT rules other than the ball is moved progressively further from the end zone? This is basically what we had a few years ago before they switched to 2pt conversions after OT 2 or 3.

So my thoughts from the game…

So my thoughts from the game.

1. The students who kept trying to start the wave during the injury to can get fucked.

2. The sound was fine. No issues for me.

3. The normal game lights don't need to point into the stands. Angle em all on the field so my head doesn't hurt from 8000 watts being beamed directly into my eyeballs.

4. To many stats. Condense into 2 screens, you can have a section that is relevant to the most recent play.

I thought one of the…

I thought one of the complaints about grass is because you slip more you get more minor injuries, pulled muscles and such. But because turf is stickier, you end up with more major injuries.

Its merely predicting that…

Its merely predicting that Michigan will have a loss, and with our schedule it will be hard to get in without being perfect. OSU can probably slip up once and still have enough good wins to get in.
