They are kicking off at 10 a.m. local time. Weird. I'm glad to be in the Eastern time zone.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:12 PM ^
It's the best time zone.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:42 PM ^
Fair or not, we run the country time-zone wise.
September 30th, 2023 at 1:50 PM ^
I used to think Eastern was best, but after moving to Central time, I’m a convert. Games starting earlier on Saturday and Sunday is better. Less waiting for games to start.
It was especially great when the Wings were still in the Western Conference.
September 30th, 2023 at 2:42 PM ^
Central is best and it's not even close.
You can actually finish late games, and weekday games.
That extra hour is huge during the week when games end at 10 versus 11 or 11 versus midnight.
I would be interested to know if people prefer Mountain or Eastern, but Central is perfect.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:23 PM ^
PSU is going to win this game 31-3
September 30th, 2023 at 2:07 PM ^
I'll take that bet and give you 10-1 odds.
September 30th, 2023 at 2:40 PM ^
Central is king.

I do not understand Deion. He is of such moral standing he says junk instead of shit, but welcomes people who get fired for hiring strippers to the game.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:41 PM ^
Being sanctimonious doesn't make you moral. See Dabo, see Jimmy Swaggart and a thousand Baptist preachers. Kicking dozens of players unceremoniously to the street probably doesn't either.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:09 PM ^
What a run! Barry Sanders-esque.

USC slicing through the Colorado defense like a hot knife through butter.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:10 PM ^
That Colorado defense is 2010 Michigan bad lol.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:14 PM ^
Is this going to be 63-60 USC?
September 30th, 2023 at 12:40 PM ^
That may be half right.
September 30th, 2023 at 2:00 PM ^
Underrated comment - +1, my man...
September 30th, 2023 at 12:44 PM ^
Or 3/4: 63-3 is plausible.

Northwestern up 3-0 on PSU!
September 30th, 2023 at 12:15 PM ^
First time watching Florida this year, man they are absolutely awful at tackling.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:15 PM ^
I love how Fox is trying to sell this game as anything more then another butt kicking
September 30th, 2023 at 12:15 PM ^
Allar still isn't all that accurate.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:18 PM ^
Suddenly, Northwestern is decent?

Singleton fumbled the opening kickoff. Cats have -5 yards of offense in their two drives.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:28 PM ^
I see. I missed the kick off.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:26 PM ^
There may be a Frames Janklin sighting today.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:19 PM ^
So, if you're betting, or not, who thinks SC will beat Colorado worse than Oregon? Yes, SC's defense is questionable, as usual. Who ya got?
September 30th, 2023 at 12:30 PM ^
Oregon is substantially better than USC.

Clemson player was called for targeting. Looked like the definition of it. Defender lowered his head and pasted the QB in the facemask. QB was a runner at the time +10yds downfield (fumbled and lost the ball from the hit).
Of course they cut away to commercial for the review. Came back and said targeting overturned. They showed one quick replay from one angle and play resumed. No commentary on it whatsoever.
It's becoming less and less clear what targeting is to me.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:25 PM ^
Used to be- targeting was called all the time when it shouldn’t have been. They’ve for sure backed off.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:27 PM ^
It is almost like they don't want targeting anymore but would be a PR nightmare to get rid of it. So they keep it and use it if the player was hurt. I dunno. I have seen enough of these this year where it makes no sense when they call it and when they don't.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:55 PM ^
"Defender lowered his head and pasted the QB in the facemask."
I did not see the play, but that alone does not sound like targeting.

Anyone else having issues this weekend with watching games online on Fox specifically? It's not even Fox Sports' player because I'm not having issues with the BTN game. But last night and tonight it's just crapping out on me on a regular basis. Like to get it fixed by 330.

USC D. Oof
September 30th, 2023 at 12:33 PM ^
PSU special teams not great. Also they struggle to generate big plays kind of like we do. A lot of slow grinding drives.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:33 PM ^
These PAC teams do not play defense at all.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:35 PM ^
CU kicker's Dad was amazing. Son has got some catching up to do
September 30th, 2023 at 12:35 PM ^
Good run by the NW halfback
September 30th, 2023 at 12:36 PM ^
The only way Colorado stays in this is if USC shoots itself in the foot with penalties and tough pass plays. If they don’t always go for the home run, they’ll walk away with this game. Colorado only kept that drive alive due to a homer penalty call. They even tried to give them a full yard spot for a first down.

CU defense ... woof.

Caleb has like 10 seconds there. And wide open WR. CU D is bad. I knew that but was wondering if it is one game. How in the hell Nebraska D played so bad against CU
September 30th, 2023 at 12:42 PM ^
The NU D played well in the first half, but wore down after the O kept turning it over.
That was also before Hunter got hurt for CU.
September 30th, 2023 at 12:41 PM ^
NW has just a shit awful offense
September 30th, 2023 at 12:41 PM ^
Caleb Williams was missing some long passes earlier. I remember when we played out in Colorado in 1996 a lot of discussion about the effects of the altitude. I wonder if he was feeling some of those effects?
He looks like he has adjusted now by putting more air under the ball.

Kentucky DT is 6'6" and 350 but moves pretty fast. Wow.
