I am so pleasantly surprised at Michigan landing this great WR. I had imagined/feared a ton of effective negative recruiting around the running game, misfires in the passing game, perceived underperformance of the current WRs, &c. But I think JJ's development on the biggest stages has quashed all that. Great get from the staff.

that one was a surprise... never even knew about the kid until the post on him yesterday.

Very cool though - seems like a very good player

getting talented players out of the south is a great thing - hopefully, it can open the door a little bit for Michigan to recruit the south with a little more success

We are getting top tier names too.  Karmello English?  That's a great name.  For years teams have been killing Michigan in the name department, for years we were not getting the Karmello English-es of the world.  Now we are getting all the names.

Our class is now up to eight 4* players, likely to add another today.

To put that in perspective, the 2022 recruiting class had nine 4* players (and one 5*).

Add in the transfer portal, and this is another class in line with what how Michigan has been recruiting.  If we add Harbor, this class is right there with the '21 and '22 classes.

We've gone from "plucky recruiting with the chance for upside and an okay transition to a great '24 class" to "damn fine class on its own."
