EDIT: I just read your comments to your post. I wasn't criticizing and didn't mean to harsh your vibe, just making a joke. Hope you're having a good summer and that you're eager for the football season.

Taking my team to Grand Valley for camp this week. One of my favorite parts of the season. Getting to see where we are at as far as offense and defensive development, but more importantly getting to see the boys bond. We get to see who is going to emerge as leaders; especially from the upcoming seniors. Get to see which Juniors who were JV kids last year and see the growth they have made, and get to see our select young buck sophomores and freshmen compete with the big boys. We culminate it with a day at Michigan Adventures.

Football season is coming, and I for one am looking forward to this one more than any in the past.

My vibes are amused with the OP with no actual content, and then the content in the first reply, and then combative replies when everyone is super confused. Plus I'm drinking good beer so this all makes for an excellent evening. Thanks for asking!

About this upcoming season? Pretty good. This is probably the most promising QB situation Michigan has had in years, and this could arguably be the best offense Michigan has had, ever. Especially if McCarthy gets the nod and takes that proverbial big leap forward. Best RB room in the conference, among the best in America, OL will be really good, WR room will be really good especially with Bell coming back, TEs led by an NFL caliber TE in All. Offense is in great shape.

Defense, I’m a bit in wait and see mode, if for no other reason than the DL. Secondary will be better next season, LBs should be at least as good as they were last year, maybe slightly better, but there is no proven pass rush right now. Zip. Nada. So much of Michigan’s success last season was due to Hutch and Ojabo, and now you’re adjusting to life without either of them. They’ve got four tomato can games to start off with to figure things out and find some contributors, but if they have any hopes of getting back to Indy, they need to find a reliable pass rush.

Doesn't have to be as good as last year. It can’t possibly be anyway. No one just reloads that kind of talent outside of Tuscaloosa, Athens, Columbus or Clemson, but they need to find someone they can rely on. That’ll be the difference between getting back to Indy, or settling for the Citrus/NY6.

Good vibes.  I just read some comments from Jon Jansen that Donovan Edwards could very well be the top RB in the country this season.  I guess I didn't need Jansen to enlighten me of that possibility but his takes are pretty solid, even if he may be biased.

The first thing I thought when I read this post is, "What are you talking about?" That wasn't a snarky comment, but a legitimate question. Vibes about what? What's the subject?

When the reader has to ask that question, it's an indication that it was poorly written. But that's not a big deal. All of us will do that every so often. But all the doubling and tripling down, throwing mud at the people who called you out, is what's killing you.

I watched the movie Vibes last night (really bad late 80s movie with Jeff Goldblum and Cyndi Lauper, who both have psychic abilities) and I woke up to see this post.  Did we just have Vulcan mind meld Commie?
 

I'll admit this isn't the greatest post of all time, but people should calm down with the piling on. There's no reason to be excessively mean just because someone made an insubstantial forum post. We've all made bad posts, for Pete's sake

And to answer your question, I feel good about the 2022 football team. Lots of talent and experience. A little frustrated with the arc of the program as a whole, but things are looking a bit better than they were a few months ago

This is not the place to come for good vibes. This is a microcosm of the current world at large and sports fandom in general -- angry, hostile, and merciless. 

Edit: after reading your recent comment about a) being an attorney and b) advocating "executing elected officials". You need to get help.

For the record, what you posted was: "I am an attorney who happily thinks the Supreme Court should be abolished. I also support each individual elected or appointed to office to serve a single six-year term and afterward be immediately executed". 

I am hoping you were being sarcastic. But if you weren't, get help.
