He can thank the oline. Oline was the MVP of the offense today.
November 28th, 2021 at 9:15 AM ^
The OL was the MVP of the team. Three hundred yards rushing, no sacks, no negative plays, a fresh defense and an out of rhythm OSU offense-that's the ballgame folks. OSU was lucky the score was not 56-17...all the credit goes to their stunning WRs-who kept them in the game.
November 27th, 2021 at 3:38 PM ^
Besides that INT I'd say the game plan was executed almost perfectly.
November 27th, 2021 at 6:42 PM ^
Perfect game plan.

They said we couldn't win by running the football!!
November 27th, 2021 at 3:39 PM ^
Played great !!!
November 27th, 2021 at 3:39 PM ^
This was a lot like the 1995 game. We just overran them.
November 27th, 2021 at 3:39 PM ^
Hassan Haskins is the greatest player of the Harbaugh Era. He is the truth. All Hail H2!
November 27th, 2021 at 4:46 PM ^
He might be my favorite offensive player ever. So reliable. Having said that though, Aiden Hutchinson may be the best Michigan player of all time on a single season basis.
November 27th, 2021 at 5:56 PM ^
Better than Chuck in 97?
November 27th, 2021 at 7:30 PM ^
No but the fact he came back and helped end this streak makes me appreciate him more. To each their own
November 27th, 2021 at 3:39 PM ^
JOSH GATTIS!!!!!!!!!! What a masterclass in play calling! Cade McNamara providing steady veteran play (even though he's not a veteran). All the skill players that stepped up. And how about our offensive line?!
November 27th, 2021 at 3:40 PM ^
unfuckingbelievable! Gotta love the resilience of this team
November 27th, 2021 at 3:40 PM ^
Oline gameball?! Maybe that's happy post-game overkill but man, they owned this game. Lotta good to go around from this team today but that OLine gets my gameball. Hassan is a fucking legend to boot.
That demoralized defense at the end was beautiful.
November 27th, 2021 at 5:52 PM ^
I don't recall our OL ever dominating the Bucks like this. Even when Biakabutuka went off for 313, I don't recall our Oline mauling their DLine like today.
November 28th, 2021 at 9:40 AM ^
Replace that "?" with another "!". The OL was the greatest difference-maker in this game.
November 27th, 2021 at 3:41 PM ^
One mistake, that's all they made, one mistake. They executed perfectly and they kept on coming and negated whatever Ohio State did on offense. HH, what more can be said! What a fucking season, what a fucking game!
Cade was right, he's said it several times... this team is different!
November 27th, 2021 at 3:41 PM ^
Haskins is a November back.
November 27th, 2021 at 4:10 PM ^
Haskins is an ALWAYS back. Also, you should eat several bags of lemons for your Cade can't win takes.
November 27th, 2021 at 11:26 PM ^
Fuck off bfeeavveerr. This is a fan party! Your negative Nancy bullshit gets you no seat on the band wagon!

*shrug* yeah some of us can recognize what just happened to us. It happened. I hate you guys and can recognize we just got rolled over. Kudos to the team up north you fuckers! The real ones in your fan base can appreciate what I just said! Enjoy the win tonight and this year! We will see you next year!!!

You and Chuck (there might be another I'm forgetting) aren't the Neg On Sight variety of Buckeye fans.
November 27th, 2021 at 3:42 PM ^
Haskins is a beast.
That is all.
November 27th, 2021 at 6:02 PM ^
No he isn’t. Go down two more comments and that is the correction to your post. Haskins is a fucking god. And please allow me to gloat.. I said TWO years ago that he is your best RB and today it showed. Dude will get five yards and then fall forward for a couple more and that sets you guys up for so much more. Do I want him over our RBs? Nah I like ours. But Haskins is PERFECT for your system. Good for you guys. I’m gonna go make myself another drink.
November 27th, 2021 at 6:38 PM ^
The B1G is blessed with running backs. I would not trade Haskins or Corum for Henderson or Kenneth Walker III. I could be wrong but I don't blame respective fan bases for loving their guy. Henderson looks like a guy I will continue to respect/HATE.
November 27th, 2021 at 6:48 PM ^
If I were you, I MIGHT trade Haskins for Walker since he is so good after contact, but that is it. They both thrive between the tackles and get yards after contact. That would be the only reason though. Haskins is a Dawg. Henderson is a freshman and is more of a speed/home run hitter. Those other two fit your system so much more well.
November 27th, 2021 at 7:26 PM ^
I get the arguement but like I said, I would not give up Haskins. Earlier in the season some wanted more of his touches to go to Corum and frankly no thank you. Haskins, Corum, Henderson, Walker III are all studs but I'll take out guys every day. Bias acknowledged.
November 28th, 2021 at 12:16 AM ^
Tot, you shouldn’t give him up. He’s a grown ass man shoving it down teams’ throats. No shame in not wanting to give him up man! No bias at all you should want him as your guy!
November 27th, 2021 at 3:42 PM ^
Star Cade.

HASKINS IS A GOD! A GOD!!
November 27th, 2021 at 3:44 PM ^
Ohio has been officially fucked!
November 27th, 2021 at 3:47 PM ^
McNamara’s ceiling is beating OSU which now requires a lot of the people reading this blog to significantly reconsider your comments. Come out and take the L, cause he beat OSU.
November 27th, 2021 at 4:39 PM ^
I don’t reconsider my comments at all. McNamara made some nice throws but also threw a terrible interception that fortunately wasn’t as costly as it could have been, thanks to the great play of the running backs, O-line and defense. He threw for 159 yards, total. It was a great team win and he came along for the ride. McCarthy will end up as a much better QB, whether at Michigan (hopefully) or somewhere else, and he once again showed that today in his few opportunities. They also would’ve won this game if McCarthy had been the starter.
November 27th, 2021 at 5:08 PM ^
Yeah, and I am 100% certain that pushing him out the door will happen with takes like this and also 100% sure we will watch him pick us apart when he portals to Wisconsin or Iowa.
November 27th, 2021 at 5:31 PM ^
Oh gross he would TOTALLY go to Iowa
November 27th, 2021 at 8:14 PM ^
McNamara would be terrifying for a team that runs first and asks their QB not to make mistakes. People here act like he’s a junior or senior with no room to grow.
November 27th, 2021 at 11:47 PM ^
You have no way of knowing M wins with McCarthy starting. So just go away. You never believed. You explicitly stated that Cade would NOT be capable of beating OSU. You were wrong. Just take the f-ing L.
November 28th, 2021 at 1:26 PM ^
I was definitely wrong in believing they couldn’t beat OSU because of McNamara’s limitations, but I’m not sure many saw them running for 300 yards and shutting down the big plays on defense, which is why they won the game. I’ve never said McNamara was bad, only that McCarthy will be better and because they very likely have to choose one and lose one, they should choose McCarthy. And I think the “McNamara never makes mistakes” argument is starting fade. He has only thrown three INTs, but they all came at important moments: yesterday, in a close game at Nebraska, and on the final drive against MSU, when they still had time to pull it out. And the biggest reason the last one happened is because he didn’t have the arm to get it there quickly enough.

Everyone should recognize/ acknowledge the dilemma here-for the coaching staff...because both of these young men are very talented. For me, the two look a bit like a Montana vs Mahomes choice. So the decision here is a personal preference one...and anyone arguing about this should chalk many things up to the splitting of hairs they are doing in this regard. I like both of them a lot. As a fan, for the entertainment value, I would play "Mahomes"-plus there is that "ceiling". I am sure that Jim Harbaugh and his staff are fully aware of the extent of the ramifications in play here. National Championships have been won, and possibly lost, by the best coaches in this business, Saban, Meyer and Swinney, on this exact type of decision over the past several years. Hello Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow-to name two out of the three. If Riley ends up at LSU and McCarthy is asked to remain the back-up...look out. Just sayin'.
November 28th, 2021 at 2:01 AM ^
“Cade doesn’t have a high enough ceiling to beat OSU” is going to be a multi-year meme. TBH, they would have been undefeated if he hadn’t taken an ill-timed trip to the med tent so the hater can eat it.
November 28th, 2021 at 11:53 AM ^
He did everything that was asked of him and more. There were really just two bad throws all day. There was the pick, and then this is nitpicking but he had one throw to the flat that took Haskins off his feet and resulted in no gain. Not a huge deal as the defender was out there but hitting him in stride at least allows Haskins to fall forward (difference between 3rd and 4 and 3rd and 7).
Other than that though...we needed him to hit deep balls against one on one coverage outside. Check (in fact, Andrel dropped a very catchable ball on a free play that Cade threw perfectly, so yardage could be even higher). Got rid of the ball. No sacks against a good pass rush (yes O-Line deserves credit but Cade's clock was perfect too, even against the blitz).
Michigan dominated this game in the trenches but make no mistake, all year we had said we would need to hit deep shots to have a chance against OSU. Many people said Cade would be incapable. He proved them wrong with an exclamation yesterday.
