Walker is a really good pickup by MSU. NW is also awful on defense but he's making plays that are somewhat opponent agnostic.

Disagree here. Sparty is looking very good on the ground, decent thru the air and very positive special teams already. Certainly everything is coming up their way but SO FAR they look like a well balanced offense

The fan's eye view isn't always accurate, but there is so much hoopla, so many bread and circuses that go with Michigan football. . . you look at MSU sometimes and wonder whether there might be something to be said for shutting TFU and just getting after it. Seems like we've been the higher-priced spread while they over-achieved for a while now.

Michigan consumes many volumetric tons more media oxygen than MSU does. And is far more prideful, IMO. I say that as someone whose entire nuclear family went to Michigan, many of whose cousins went to MSU. They have much more of a working-class and gritty profile, and everyone knows it. . . maybe except Michigan fans. Doesn't mean I won't root for Michigan forever. But what I said stands. Sorry that you're stuck in Lansing. It's no Ann Arbor. :)
