Anyone heard if Washington is looking for a return trip to make for the cancelled game this past season?
February 5th, 2021 at 1:12 PM ^
hope so, had plane tickets and hotel reservations for the cancelled game...
February 5th, 2021 at 1:12 PM ^
Looks like Michigan is booked till 2025 and already has marquee matchups with Oklahoma and Texas in '26 and '27. So maybe a rematch in '28?
February 5th, 2021 at 3:02 PM ^
Given our history I fully expect one or both of those games to be cancelled and replaced with a MAC school or worse

Incarnate Word, the Wolverines are gunning for you.

Derp, thought Michigan football's website would have the right info. Looks like they've updated the dates now
February 5th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
November looks interesting.
February 5th, 2021 at 5:43 PM ^
That last 6 games stretch looks "interesting" too!
February 5th, 2021 at 7:15 PM ^
I know last game vs OSU is tradition but I'd give that up to avoid having it Tgiving weekend every year. #emptystands
February 5th, 2021 at 1:14 PM ^
Hmmm... makes 3 of the 4 high profile B1G games road trips every other year.
Would rather even it out and go 2home/2road every year than alternate 1home/3road and 3home/1road. You better have a good visit from a nonconference foe in those 1/3 years if you want to move those tickets without a Coke promotion.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:17 PM ^
Michigan is playing Texas in '24 (A) and '27 (H). And Oklahoma in '25 (A) and '26 (H).
I also don't know if Wisconsin will be the crossover game after '24.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:19 PM ^
Good point about Wisconsin, I think of them as perma-scheduled.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:19 PM ^
Assuming you mean PSU, OSU, MSU, and Wisconsin. This is FINALLY the last year we play Wisconsin for a little bit. They aren't scheduled to play us again until 2024 after this year, I believe. We're swapping them out with Nebraska, which seems like a good trade for us
February 5th, 2021 at 1:31 PM ^
Yeah with our luck Nebraska will be a much improved program by that time, I mean they can't be much worse than they have been, they'll be at least somewhat improved.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:36 PM ^
Are they even gonna have anyone left on their roster when we play them? I think the output is greatly outpacing the input for them
February 5th, 2021 at 1:40 PM ^
Surprised they come back in 2024. Haven't they been on the schedule for the past 8 years? Would be nice to have a favorable BIG schedule for once. Seems like we always get the short of the stick and get crossover teams when they are playing their best.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:20 PM ^
Ohio St and Penn St and ..... failing to come up with the other two "high" profile" games.
February 5th, 2021 at 9:08 PM ^
Indiana returns almost everyone. They're not OSU but they'll be good. Glad we finally don't play them right before OSU. I wouldn't be surprised if they're better than PSU.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:19 PM ^
If I recall the 2021 game with Staee used to be a home game and now was switched to a road game and it looks like the 2022 with Staee is also in East Landfill.
Looks like the B1G fucked us again on that one.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:23 PM ^
Any listed home/road designations beyond 2021 are not accurate. We will play in EL in 2021 and in Ann Arbor in 2022. Beyond any unforeseen changes or cancellations, the MSU/OSU problem is fixed
February 5th, 2021 at 2:21 PM ^
Above graphic is from Michigan website. THe MSU/OSU problem is not fixed.
February 5th, 2021 at 2:32 PM ^
No, but there is at least a disclaimer at the bottom, so it still could yet be fixed.
February 5th, 2021 at 2:59 PM ^
Reading the fine print may be beneficial for you!
February 5th, 2021 at 3:13 PM ^
Understanding the difference between "is fixed" and "could be fixed" is important too!
February 5th, 2021 at 6:43 PM ^
For what it's worth, Harbaugh hasn't beaten State in Ann Arbor, and he hasn't lost to State in East Lansing. 2021 looking good.
February 5th, 2021 at 7:56 PM ^
We did beat State in Ann Arbor in 2019. But the East Lansing part of your statement is correct.
February 5th, 2021 at 8:44 PM ^
Gomenasai. I stand corrected. I believe I got that info from a Spartan. I didn't check and obviously didn't remember.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:24 PM ^
Updated graphic for the updated schedule.

Is that Tacopants? I heard he was tall, but that’s just ridiculous.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:25 PM ^
That's a brutal schedule on paper. I am sticking with 6-6.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:35 PM ^
It's gonna be interesting to see if they fold or make a leap back. Based on last year's results and Michigan's general road woes, Wisconsin and OSU seem like auto-losses. Indiana pantsed us, but it's at home. Nebraska is baaad, but it's on the road. Penn State is bad, but pantsed us AND it's on the road, likely loss. MSU is bad, but they beat us and on the road, tough game. Washington is a coin flip. Northwestern is better than us but Pat can never beat Michigan, tough game. Maryland looked good and it's on the road, tough game. Rutgers was way-too-competitive but it's at home. Can genuinely see anywhere from 3-9 (doom scenario) to 10-2 (miracle breakthrough scenario). We'll see if the new players can play and if the new coaches can coach
February 5th, 2021 at 1:41 PM ^
Starting the season 4-0 at home is an absolute must!
February 5th, 2021 at 4:13 PM ^
I tend to agree, 3-9 is the floor. I do not see 10-2 as the ceiling though, 9-3 would be the everything goes right for us scenario.
6-6 with 7-5 being slightly more likely than 5-7.
Would be nice to win a bowl game and go 7-6.
February 5th, 2021 at 3:03 PM ^
5-7 at best
February 6th, 2021 at 10:16 AM ^
I have an optimistic 6-6 .
February 5th, 2021 at 1:29 PM ^
After 4 straight home games to start season - hate that the 1st road game has to be at Wisconsin, which can be an absolute bitch.
It is what it is. Get mentally ready and kick the Badgers ass! Go Blue!!!
February 5th, 2021 at 1:34 PM ^
I like it. It balances out our biggest B1G rivals:
MSU and Penn St;
and OSU and RUTGERS.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:39 PM ^
I'm anxiously awaiting the 7th iteration of the 2021 schedule. How many iterations did we have in 2020?
February 5th, 2021 at 1:40 PM ^
The bone I have to pick here, is the first four home games are at home, and they get used to the advantage, only to lately always lose the first road game... I hope in future they sprinkle in a road game earlier, with a decent opponent.
February 5th, 2021 at 2:37 PM ^
Aren't home games always "at home"? Otherwise they'd be "neutral site" or "away" games.
My question is, how can you have "Homecoming" if you never went on the road?
February 5th, 2021 at 6:51 PM ^
Homecoming is about the alums, not the football team.
February 5th, 2021 at 1:52 PM ^
woof...this feels like 4 win season, 6 at best
February 5th, 2021 at 3:01 PM ^
They should win 5 of their first 6
February 5th, 2021 at 4:21 PM ^
I hope you're right
February 5th, 2021 at 1:55 PM ^
Revenge Tour - fuck them all.
February 5th, 2021 at 2:02 PM ^
My hope for the 2021 team is that they can make a bowl and win it. Get 6 or 7 wins but get a postseason win to cap it off. That seems like manageable and reasonable growth.
Just please stop ending every fucking season on a 2-game losing streak.
February 5th, 2021 at 5:52 PM ^
Amen brother!
February 5th, 2021 at 9:26 PM ^
If this team wins 6 games...they’ll have an interim coach for the bowl game
