And as I post this USC drives the field and scores a td. Colorado's number 42 drops a sure int and then has a qb fumble that he bats the ball back to a USC player for a recovery.

Why does the idea of Meyer heading to usc excite you?
October 25th, 2019 at 10:27 PM ^
Because fuck Ohio State
October 25th, 2019 at 10:29 PM ^
Doesnt excite me, the exclamation point was more for the captain obvious that Meyer will most likely be out there as head coach next year and 6-6 would cement that.
October 26th, 2019 at 2:55 AM ^
Gotcha. It denoted a level of enthusiasm to me - which was confusing.

Seriously. People are so stupid
October 25th, 2019 at 10:32 PM ^
Man, if we could just somehow learn to use these jinxes in Michigan's favor that would be awesome. I would've had a post up on that 4th down about some wide receiver derping a game tying pass and then Bell would've hauled it in for sure.
October 25th, 2019 at 10:34 PM ^
lol you should have
October 26th, 2019 at 9:46 AM ^
I already tried it. I believe the Jinx gods know your intentions so it's not worth it to try a fake jinx.
October 25th, 2019 at 10:32 PM ^
How did notre dame struggle with them
October 25th, 2019 at 10:34 PM ^
Cause Notre Dame sucks! O LET DO IT!
October 25th, 2019 at 11:02 PM ^
Great game so far on ESPN2. This is what Speed in Space looks like (plus bad defense). Sigh.
October 25th, 2019 at 11:03 PM ^
If USC finishes with ~8 wins they're a likely bowl game opponent for us in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego (we're very likely going there due to contractual obligations if we finish 8-4 or 9-3).
Holiday Bowl takes the 3rd best team in the PAC 12. I'd imagine Oregon and Utah will be 1/2 and then 3 could go to any of USC, Washington, Washington State or Arizona State.
I think I'd maybe prefer WSU or ASU (don't want to play Washington two games in a row, boring), but a win over SC in SoCal is nothing to complain about.
October 25th, 2019 at 11:13 PM ^
Touchdown Colorado. 31-21. 9:16 to go in the 3rd in Boulder.
October 25th, 2019 at 11:21 PM ^
USC misses a 40 yard field goal, their kicker's first miss of the season. CU is 0-13 all time vs. the Trojans, streak might end tonight!
October 25th, 2019 at 11:27 PM ^
As a Buckeyes fan I am intrigued to see if Meyer goes to USC. Can he do it again?
My guess is that he is done, but you never know.
October 25th, 2019 at 11:42 PM ^
Well, Urban was sick last fall so he needed to take some time off. But he's feeling much better now, thank you. Taking a little time off for R&R sure helps a body recover from being outed as an enabler of domestic violence.
October 26th, 2019 at 3:24 AM ^
DOn't forget the healing powers of the SoCal sunshine, and CoEds.
October 25th, 2019 at 11:30 PM ^
Urban to USC isn’t going to happen. It’s a 2 year hiatus. The wifey isn’t going to let it happen.
We’ll see him back on the sidelines in Columbus in 2021 when Day goes to the league.
October 26th, 2019 at 3:48 AM ^
If anybody goes to the league its Urban, not Day. Also, he doesn't take over rebuilding jobs, so no USC this year either. My bet is is hes holdong off on the Patriots once the hooodie retires.
October 26th, 2019 at 7:53 AM ^
Day finishes this season with a playoff appearance (probably win it all), and follows up next year with another great year, he absolutely will get nfl attention. Hell, I'd bet he gets it after this year. He already has nfl experience. He'll be in the nfl before urban.
October 26th, 2019 at 8:25 AM ^
I just don’t see Urban working in the NFL. The massive talent differential he is able to relay on so handily in college would be gone, and as the losses would inevitably pile up, he’d be outta there with more health problems in two years. That is if the fans didn’t run him out of town first.
October 25th, 2019 at 11:35 PM ^
Onto the 4th quarter. Still 31-21, Colorado leads. After a few defensive stops on each side, Colorado is driving again, on their own 40.
October 25th, 2019 at 11:47 PM ^
Touchdown USC. 3 point game!
31-28, Colorado still leads. 11:15 to go in the 4th.
October 25th, 2019 at 11:59 PM ^
Colorado goes 3 & out, then USC goes 1st down & out courtesy of a crucial OPI penalty.
8:08 to go, Buffs getting the ball back.
October 26th, 2019 at 12:15 AM ^
Appears that reviewing plays isn’t allowed here.
October 26th, 2019 at 12:16 AM ^
After Michiganing twice, and recovering both, USC just scores the go-ahead TD with 2:12 left. Can CU come back?
October 26th, 2019 at 12:18 AM ^
Ugh...touchdown USC. 35-31. 2:15 to go, Colorado only has 1 timeout, will get a shot to win with a touchdown.
Trojans got incredibly lucky on that drive; while they were on their own 40 they fumbled and it looked like Colorado would for sure recover but Trojans came up with it in the end. They fumbled and recovered earlier in this quarter too and Colorado also dropped an easy interception.
October 26th, 2019 at 12:23 AM ^
How the hell did USC come back and win this game? Helton is their version of Year 2 Brady Hoke - just good enough to not suck, but you know the suck is there. He has a 9 win season, taking the PAC 12 South into the last weekend, and he keeps his job. Would be a shocker to dump him, in that case.
October 26th, 2019 at 12:25 AM ^
USC will win. CU gets one first down, but then can't convert a 4th & 4 from their own 43 yard line (came up 1 yard short).
Buffs really should've had this game. Offense collapsed in the 4th quarter, but Trojans were very lucky on fumbles. Questionable coaching too, they punted on 4th and short within USC's 40 yard line.
Colorado moves to 0-14 all time vs. USC.
USC wins their first game when down by 10 points since the 2017 Rose Bowl comeback against Penn State. Huge game next week in Los Angeles with Oregon coming down to the Coliseum for a matchup between the favorite in the North and the favorite in the South.
October 26th, 2019 at 12:28 AM ^
Colorado's coach is a dumbfuck

Whoa, it's early. I thought you said you spotted Joe Biden on the sidelines.
October 26th, 2019 at 2:12 AM ^
I was there. Five rows from USC bench at the 30 yard line, in a UM coat and toboggan. Saw Drevno almost constantly. I got more "Go Blues" than expected. Only two drunk girls (USC fans) gave me crap as I was leaving. Buff fans I sat by called me "Big Michigan" since I am 6'3" and 300lbs. Colorado has never beaten USC like 0-14 I think.
October 26th, 2019 at 7:40 AM ^
I like the mental picture of a big Michigan dude in a toboggan in the stands. It’s very dreamlike.
(Although I looked it up and apparently that’s a style of hat. I dunno. New to me. I prefer the idea you mean a no-shit sled.)

Nice to know someone else shares my thought patterns
October 26th, 2019 at 8:20 AM ^
Hey,we might finish 6 - 6. Can we get Urban too ?
October 26th, 2019 at 8:23 AM ^
Helton is not a good college coach.
Fortunately for USC, Colorado's coach matches up .
October 26th, 2019 at 8:43 AM ^
Colorado punted twice within the 40. I guess the coach thought his defense would hold. Nope.
October 26th, 2019 at 8:49 AM ^
Nice jinxing work there, pal. I suppose for your next act you’re gonna crow about how michigan has the game all sewn up if we have a 3-pt lead in the second quarter.
October 26th, 2019 at 9:17 AM ^
Urban’s next stop will be the NFL as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys next season.
October 26th, 2019 at 9:42 AM ^
I haven't seen anything credible online or anywhere about that. Why do you think the Cowboys? I would agree their coach is likely gone if they A. miss the playoffs or B. lose in first round.
