No. LSU Used to but found a QB and a new offensive identity. Michigan can’t seem to find either.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:05 PM ^
Exactly. LSU recruits at near BAMA level and has been a 9 win team for a decade due to lack of Qb and innovative offense. They've changed.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:34 PM ^
Well done, was just gonna post this.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:58 PM ^
A bunch of fucking idiots. Go all in for urban.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:22 PM ^
People need to stop with the Urban stuff. It's stupid
October 6th, 2019 at 9:08 AM ^
Yep, and why is that so hard to understand ? If he does coach again, it will be in a HS talent rich state like California, Texas, or maybe back to a Florida school where he can excel at his strong point: recruiting. He'll have his pick if he decides to return. Oh wait, how could anyone pick a USC or FSU over mighty Michigan ? And if you read his vibes, the guy doesn't exactly bleed Maize and Blue. And he's still a big part of the Columbus community as he just opened up a restaurant there and even frequents the OSU practices a few times a week as an asst. AD. Besides, we're in it for the long haul - like it or not - with JH, our QB whisperer.

Patterson is terrible. It's probably on the coaches, but that is really our problem.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:08 PM ^
Patterson REALLY restricts this offense.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:23 PM ^
Problem: Patterson
Solution: Line up DMac or JM at punter depth. Have DPJ, Nico, & Tarik run go route every play. QB has enough vision to see which one isn't triple teamed. Throw to receiver who is double teamed.
October 6th, 2019 at 9:42 AM ^
Yet , we have bloggers , that give us this......Shea is the best QB in the BIG TEN. He will be at Heisman presentation. And many think these bloggers know football.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:04 PM ^
Pathetic.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:09 PM ^
Harbaugh and Brown with their overpaid underperforming asses. They both fucking suck. Michigan will never be elite, win a big 10 championship or beat OSU with those two ass clowns running the show.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:14 PM ^
Still here I see!!! “It’s fans like you...”
bye bye ?
October 5th, 2019 at 3:15 PM ^
Today is an odd day to call out Brown. I do think he’s overrated but not today. Hopefully they can make some more plays because we all know the offense isn’t going to be able to run out the last 3 minutes.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:23 PM ^
Brown’s problem is his sorry ass man to man scheme won’t work for elite team. He is not overpaid or overrated. His team has good stats, but not competent when it matters. The saddest thing about this? It is predefined before the season. There is no cure. Brown still could not figure out himself with some decent zone scheme after all these year. It is safe to say that he won’t have this figured out in Michigan. I wish we can move on to a younger defensive mind after his contract is over.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:48 PM ^
Good thing we ran zone a lot you dumbass
October 5th, 2019 at 5:02 PM ^
The defense played really well today but Brown’s scheme has earned skepticism against talented offenses on the road.
October 5th, 2019 at 6:00 PM ^
We sure did, except in the most obvious of circumstances, 3rd and 32.
SMH, what a dumbass.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:10 PM ^
Yeah the defense was outstanding today would not have won the game without...maybe just keep the defense out there when in possession of the ball.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:15 PM ^
Honestly would rather keep Brown and fire Harbaugh.
Brown seems to adjust nowadays
October 5th, 2019 at 3:23 PM ^
I agree. It took him an awfully long time to adjust but I’m glad he’s shown that he is willing to adapt.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:33 PM ^
Don Brown is the only reason Harbaugh still has a job. Stop drinking and go away
October 5th, 2019 at 9:22 PM ^
Good thing he held TUOS to only 62 with 2 NFL D linemen, 2 NFL corners, and a 1st round LB.
Imagine what they would've done against someone who's less of a super genius.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:14 PM ^
Michigan = Iowa
We just have a lot more wasted talent. Both play pathetic dinosaur football on offense.
We just pay our coaches a lot more $ to produce the same terrible product.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:18 PM ^
Nonsense. Iowa occasionally beats OSU.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:45 PM ^
They beat them once in the last 15 years. I wouldn't call that occasionally. More like rarely.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:16 PM ^
TheCube = Maizen
October 5th, 2019 at 3:23 PM ^
False. That’s njvictors
October 5th, 2019 at 3:23 PM ^
Offense should apologize to the defense. Shameful
October 5th, 2019 at 3:30 PM ^
Iowa would go 1-8 in the SEC. Let's be honest.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:39 PM ^
Go away troll, enjoy your pounding tonight
October 5th, 2019 at 3:49 PM ^
I've been a fan longer than you're been alive. Bite me.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:42 PM ^
Hey fuck you and your red haired family
October 5th, 2019 at 3:41 PM ^
So would Michigan.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:37 PM ^
No. Used to be LSU, but it’s us now.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:37 PM ^
Lucky that Iowa Qb is as bad as Patterson or we'd be screaming louder for Harbaugh to go.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:38 PM ^
Gattis is garbage. Terrible play-calling. Terrible game plan. Predictable QB keepers. ONE deep pass to Collins. Garbage.
Patterson is a liability. He holds the offense back, as inept as it already is.
He needs to be benched.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:42 PM ^
Very disappointing. Offense has no identity. It's also a slow offense where a penalty or an incompletion throws the entire rhythm off and all drives quickly die.
Look at this 2nd half UM offensive display:
Punt
Punt
Missed FG
Punt
Punt
0 for 5 opportunities.
3 of 12 on third down. Same as last week versus Rutgers.
Even the pathetic BIG 10 competition is going to destroy you.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:48 PM ^
I hate Urban Meyer, but damn if he doesn't provide some good insight. You can see that he was just lightyears ahead of Michigan.
He talked about how Don Brown used to be a mastermind of moving his guys around when he came into the league.
Remember when he used to put like 7 guys on the line and rush 3 or 4? It was his first year.
Then he got better players (Gary, Winovich, Bush) and just stuck with his base and went away from being creative.
Even think about that Florida game with Bush's 1st start (Dallas) when he was literally creating holes for Devin and using Furbush as a defensive FB. Domination.
Meyer said it looks like he's back to taking guys and moving them around the field...which according to him was a lot harder to prepare for and execute against.
Finally trying to confuse the QB and OL again. Hopefully he sticks with this.

Offense needs to improve this season and in the future. But Harbaugh has certainly performed on par with what is expected for his recruiting level. I know people hate to hear it. But we won’t be a great team with classes outside the top 10 more than once every 4 years.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:39 PM ^
3 of the last 4 classes have finished in the top 10. What the fuck are you talking about?
Do some research next time.
October 5th, 2019 at 6:32 PM ^
No research is required. I’m very familiar with the recruiting f rankings. Go research which school has recruited worse than Harbaugh and has More wins since the 2015 season ? There is one singular team, Wisconsin. And they have 3 more wins over those years, with an easier schedule.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:24 PM ^
Before this year, LSU. But they’ve finally gotten their head out of their ass.
October 5th, 2019 at 7:06 PM ^
What ever happen to the rpo’s I don’t see any. No slant passes. Nothing. This whole offense is a joke. Speed in space. It’s called lost in space.
October 6th, 2019 at 11:40 AM ^
2015: 10-3; #12 final AP Poll.
We probably crack the Top 10 w/11-2 if that infamous blocked punt loss to MSU didn't happen.
2016: 10-3; #10 final AP Poll.
Let's be real though, the bowl game was an after thought after we got screwed out of the CFP thanks to The Spot. Not to mention, Florida State finally played to their Top 5 preseason potential and only won by 1 point at the very end of the game.
2017: 8-5; unranked
However, 4/5 losses were to Top 15 teams in the final AP Poll and we didn't have any consistent QB play all season. With a healthy Speight or Patterson, we probably win 2/5 and go 10-3 again.
2018: 10-3; #14 final AP Poll.
2/3 losses were to ND and OSU away, and both finished top 5. After losing out on the CFP to OSU and being put against Florida again on the 29th, we didn't care about this game at all, while Florida was wanting revenge and making a statement.
2019: I think we defeat Illinois, Maryland, and Indiana, and if we go 3/5 between PSU/ND/MSU/OSU/bowl opponent, we finish 10-3 again and likely another top 15 finish.
-----------------------------------------
There's a good chance that Harbaugh goes 10-3 and Top 15 in four out of five seasons.
Biggest knocks against Harbaugh are the 2-7 record against the rivals (including 0-4 vs OSU), and the 1-9 record to ranked (come final AP Poll) opponents on the road.
So you have to ask yourselves with our current recruiting classes and money spent and facilities (in relation to the current tier-1 teams of Bama/Clemson/OSU/Oklahoma/Georgia), would 10-3 seasons and Top 15 finishes but poor away/rivaly records be considered "doing less with more."
