This has to be the greatest exchange in Twitter history. Very low bar to clear but great nonetheless.
I will never link Moss as a serious source on here again. Lesson learned.
Not replying to the above but wanted this near the top.
What does everyone think of starting a fundraiser for her favorite charity? We always talk about how large the Michigan money cannon is, and I believe we all really want to Yaklich to stay at Michigan. Why not show them some love from the entire fanbase, while supporting a great cause? Sounds like something this blog and fanbasewould be perfect for!
I should also add that I would have just done this, but I only know how to donate to such causes, not start them effectively.
You can donate to the Saline Young Adult Program she mentions in her tweet. That sounds like a good thing to do regardless of where he ends up.
I can't imagine a scenario where their family's future will be decided by whether or not fans throw money at a charity, but go for it.
This is an absolutely phenomenal idea
Not the brightest spark that ever came down the wire.
He should stick to roasts and being a comedian.
Avatar checks out!
Moss is an insurance adjuster and a petulant child.
"I'm not going to disclose my source but I know more about your husband's plans than you do."
The balls on that guy...
Of course he won't reveal his source. That's because his "source" is the fellow sitting on the crapper while he takes a dump.
I actually have to wonder if, in the moment of writing that tweet, he didn’t realize who he was responding to.
I think he knows. When I used to be on Twitter, I followed him and responded to something he said. Anyway, he made a comment about my Twitter name after replying back. He's observant of who he replies with imo.
He might have noticed the user name but that doesn't mean he thought it was actually her. Lots of people use famous names as screen names, including on this blog, as we all know, & including making up accounts to make a specific post with a name you use as a joke to fit a circumstance.
However it became obvious that it was really her after the 1st tweet and at that point he should've checked to see what her official handle was.
I, uh, doubt somebody make a fake account oh Amy Yaklich.
To be fair, it's entirely possible he's right and she's just saying that to keep things under wraps until an official announcement.
If that was the case, she would not have replied to some nobody on Twitter...
I'm guessing he didn't read the name on that response.
As If I didn't want them to stay to begin with I do even moreso now
I mean, here's the thing -- Brian made the case that Howard should keep Yaklich because it'll take some work off Howard's cluttered desk. OK, fine.
But Yaklich wasn't instrumental in putting together a good defense. He elevated Michigan to an elite defense. The #2 defense in the country (#1 by some measures).
Just because you ain't shabby youself, you don't just let an accomplishment like that walk out the door without an offer. I think Howard of all people would understand that.
If nothing else, keep Yaklich on board for a year at any price so Howard can download his brain.
My sources tell me Yak is staying
My source says Yak has options but hasn’t made a decision.
Mine too. As of about 5 minutes ago.
My source also says that meatloaf is a really cool guy
Also a delicious food
Meatloaf is an underrated food that gets too much hate. It has to be made and seasoned correctly, but it can be damn good
Plenty of ketchup makes it even better!
Too long in the Navy for you! Ketchup has to go on everything to make it palatable, but too much is yuck...
Not for Navy chow......never too much Ketchup!!
I experienced decent food in the Navy - much easier to cook with care for 120 people on a submarine, than for 1000+ on your basic target craft... So ketchup was largely not needed.
Careful with your ketchup!
Never put ketchup on meatloaf.
Always go with gravy!
Packet, can, jar or homemade?
I like both equally, based on mood.
Do whatever you like!
The one time someone put ketchup on Meatloaf, dude got REALLY mad...
Horseradish...secret ingredient that makes meatloaf incredible.
Damn. I've got to try this.
I can get down with a good ketchup meatloaf but the ultimate is smoked meatloaf with a homemade bbq sauce.
the mgowife makes meatloaf out of lamburger sometimes. it is delish.
Meatloaf also makes a strong leftover sandwich.
My wife uses hamburger and sausage and gets great flavor out of it.
Do not, however, use carrots in it as Depression era children had to as a low cost hunger beater.
Meatloaf sammies with ketchup or mayo work. Ran out of both and used Italian dressing and wasn't disappointed.
Leftover meatloaf, mayo, ketchup, a slice of salami and some cheese on sourdough cooked panini style .... now I’m hungry
Meatloaf sandwich A game right there. +1 for the cheese.
It is amazing how you can really dress up a sandwich. We've been using sliced cabbage or red bell pepper can add some crunch and taste.
Wow, memory trigger. I remember my late Dad telling me that he hated meatloaf as a kid in the 1930's because his mother used to put "those (expletive) carrots in it."
And he made a killer meatloaf: seasoned it like steak, chopped onions mixed in, and strips of bacon on top. And ketchup was fine, but BBQ sauce was preferred.
Damn - now I not only miss the Old Man, but I'm hungry as hell.
Meatloaf can either delicious or disgusting with no in between.
This is correct.
Unlike pizza (or sex for that matter). When it’s good, it’s good. When it’s bad...it’s still pretty good.
Before health reasons restricted my diet, the wonderful MGoWife who shares my house made the greatest meat loaf anywhere. And it was simple. She simply stuffed as much hamburger as would fit into a meat loaf pan and put it in the oven until it was done. No egg, no bread crumbs, no ketchup, no nothing except hamburger and a tiny bit of seasoning. Now that was meat loaf.
So does that mean you also have an MGoWife that doesn't share the house?
