Tiger work ethic
Not only did he come back from the controversy, he’s had 5 back operations to recover from at the age of 42. Not just recover from, but to compete at the highest level in his sport and win. You don’t do that with out hard work. Earlier his swing speed was clocked at 129 mph. Highest on the tour. Welcome back Tiger. The crowd on 18 was heart warming.

He is a slime bag who cheated on his wife multiple times, and let down his wife and his kids. Arrogant SOB on top of it.
I would much rather root for and watch other golfers that are good guys, great family men, and work their tails off.
Screw Tiger. He will never win another major. Karma, baby...
September 23rd, 2018 at 11:26 PM ^
not only that. He is cheap as hell and is piss poor tipper. Great golfer but a scumbag of a human being
September 23rd, 2018 at 11:32 PM ^
Bad tipper? That Perkins hostess got a lot more than just the tip.

HA! This is the best comment in Mgoblog by far. Well done. guyclapping.gif

You shouldn't watch pro sports
September 24th, 2018 at 12:24 AM ^
Real fucking rich coming from the guy who fucked his best friend Marks girl Stacey. Then didn't even have the decency to drive her to the abortion clinic. You little prick!

Hey you just don't know Damone

When Tiger picks up his "ladies", bet he uses my Five Point Plan...

You got my Earth Wind and Fire tickets?
September 24th, 2018 at 10:04 AM ^
Where were you last week - I had 34 pairs. Now get the hell out of here, you are ruining my business.
September 24th, 2018 at 10:52 AM ^
"That's two Earth, Wind, and Fire for Charles Jefferson and little brother".
September 24th, 2018 at 5:15 AM ^
I can't upvote this enough
September 24th, 2018 at 2:08 AM ^
The guy fucked up, who here hasn’t? We just aren’t lucky enough to have our mistakes plastered all over the news. I always respected his game and talent, but I wasn’t a fan back when he totally dominated the sport, but I am now. I hope he wins enough majors to put to rest any doubt he was the greatest.
It’s good to see a guy crawl back out of the hole, even if he dug it himself.
September 24th, 2018 at 6:41 AM ^
Fucked up implies a few mistakes. Setting aside the many many infidelities he was also widely reported to be a pretty big asshole in general.

Ron White on Tiger - NSFW
September 24th, 2018 at 11:19 AM ^
I could probably recite this exact skit. Hilarious.
September 24th, 2018 at 10:24 AM ^
So because of that you dislike him or can't root for him?
If so, how can you watch any professional sport? The "infidelities and being an asshole" are like badges of honor.
September 24th, 2018 at 11:18 AM ^
I've never cheated on my wife with a dozen different women or drove intoxicated multiple times. I get that people can and will act differently when in the public light, but these are transgressions most people don't do, or if they do they are rightfully vilified for them.
Tiger Woods is still a fabulously rich man who gets to play a sport and receive the adulation of millions of fans as a result. That doesn't mean he can't also be a pretty shitty guy to those around him.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:57 AM ^
Yeah, his poor wife. Who worked as a nanny before they hooked up. And who got $100 million in their divorce.
Oh how she has suffered.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:20 AM ^
Horrific post. if you need a moral compass I'd recommend sourcing outside the realm of athletes/entertainers.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:34 AM ^
Not to mention it seems pretty clear he is taking PEDs of some kind.
September 24th, 2018 at 12:42 PM ^
That’s just the tip of the iceberg with this asshole. Tiger is probably the biggest ass in all of professional sports. It makes me sick to see that guy win anything. If people ever met him and knew what kind of a person he really is no one would ever cheer for him I hate seeing that scum win a tourney
September 24th, 2018 at 4:57 PM ^
Sorry wrong Thread.
I thought this was about the Detroit Tigers employee caught spitting on a pizza.
He is obviously more interesting to me than Tiger Woods...........
September 23rd, 2018 at 11:20 PM ^
He’s knee-deep in waitress tonight!
September 23rd, 2018 at 11:28 PM ^
Nice, that South Park episode is the first thing I think of when I here about Tiger....classic. On a side note, was at TPC at Sawgrass years ago when he was still married. To see her in person, and what he gave up...wow.
September 23rd, 2018 at 11:23 PM ^
Your snowflake is special and unique, deserving of its own thread two posts above the other Tiger post.
September 24th, 2018 at 7:39 AM ^
I don’t post much. Didn’t intend this to be a thread.
September 24th, 2018 at 11:14 AM ^
Sorry for being that guy. I was reading the “perspective” thread before this one, where everyone was getting on the OP for his snowflake.
September 23rd, 2018 at 11:39 PM ^
So what is the over/under on the number of threads we have will have IF Tiger does win another major given that we have 2 so far for a second tier crown?
September 24th, 2018 at 7:51 AM ^
As I said, I was trying to post in the other thread. Don’t know why it made it it’s own thread. Sorry I’m not as proficient at this as you all would like.
September 23rd, 2018 at 11:48 PM ^
I don't know felt like Tiger took a few years off and chilled. I know he had back issues and a knee problem but even when he did come back earlier his mental approach was mush and he appeared focused on extra-curricular activities.
I've loved his career, glad he made it back but he really never should have gone away. Much of it was well within his control.
September 23rd, 2018 at 11:54 PM ^
everyone loves a good comeback. If you are a fan of golf this was good to see. I can appreciate comebacks and overcoming obstacles even if I don't care for a persons character.
Good for Tiger. Just never come near my daughters.
September 24th, 2018 at 12:32 AM ^
Big dick tiger
September 24th, 2018 at 1:19 AM ^
In watched him today and was really excited for him after all the adversity and the back surgeries.
But...I appreciate all the reminders that he is still a scum bag. Though not as bad as Kobe. Why that guy gets a pass for rape I’ll never know.
September 24th, 2018 at 10:22 AM ^
Or Roethlisberger for that matter.
September 24th, 2018 at 12:18 PM ^
Because wins are more important than non-athlete lives.
Do you even watch our division?
September 24th, 2018 at 1:20 AM ^
Try to live your WHOLE life under the pressure of being only one thing, the greatest golfer ever, not even a person but a thing. Plus, having your development arrested in many ways, including your social life.
Walk a mile...
Seems he's grown up, sat his time in the penalty box for being an egocentric prick and worked his way to redemption.
Well played Eldrick.
September 24th, 2018 at 6:52 AM ^
I'd happily deal with the pressure of playing golf for a living and being the best in the world at it.
I don't see how that would somehow make me a cheater.
That said, I don't care about that when I watch sports, I can appreciate his play. What I won't be doing is buying anything with his name on it.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:58 AM ^
I meant that, for Tiger, since he was already on TV at a very young age as a golf prodigy, that it's kinda like child stars in Hollywood and never getting to have normal teenage development.
I imagine even with all he has, there's a part of him that would give it up to be able to have a normal conversation with normal people, and not be so lousy with the ladies.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:58 AM ^
So all Alphas in their sport cheat, do pornstars and have little disregard for their behavior until caught? Gotcha
Maybe this will give you a counter argument to see what is possible
September 24th, 2018 at 10:12 AM ^
Quite a leap you made there, but no.
Most Alphas in other sports aren't known till high school and having "success" with the ladies is part of their rise to Alpha status.
I wonder if LeBron ever had trouble getting laid? /s
September 24th, 2018 at 10:28 AM ^
For every "great guy" like LeBron there's 10 pros who don't have such a great moral compass. Like almost the entire Lakers team of the late 70s - 80s.
People getting bent out of shape about other people, particularly pro athletes, not following their moral compass is kinda odd.
September 24th, 2018 at 11:03 AM ^
have you ever heard of the tiger woods foundation?
September 24th, 2018 at 9:20 AM ^
Just wondering, since he gets mad endorsement money for wearing them, how much would I get for walking a mile in his shoes?
September 24th, 2018 at 10:16 AM ^
Depends where you're walking.
If it's into a Red Robin to get some action, sadly no money.
But the back 9 at Augusta .......
You can golf right?
September 24th, 2018 at 2:06 AM ^
Come on man! Why not just post this in the other Tiger thread?
