More Dax Hill tea-leaves.
I think it's obvious now the recruit in this class I'm salivating over the most.
According to Lorenz, ($$ again so I can't go that deep) multiple Michigan commits are confident in a Michigan pledge.
Also, his parents were allegedly hosted by Roz (sp?) Peoples-Jones and according to a few trustworthy sources, they couldn't have done any better with that.
Yes, its Alabama were against but this looks more and more like a battle we could actually win.
Go Blue!

There is no way this could possibly ever happen - ever. never.

I’m still laughing about the turkey hope.

September 17th, 2018 at 6:52 PM ^
Makes me want to go to Daxby's.
September 17th, 2018 at 8:37 PM ^
Mmmm... Wings and things
September 17th, 2018 at 6:58 PM ^
Um. So. I hope this guy chooses UM and goes on to have a long and successful career in Ann Arbor.
But can we talk about the fact that op is apparently salivating over a high school person? I know fandom and recruiting and all brings out the worst in people, but that's just weird. Really weird. Please choose better words next time.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:42 PM ^
Let's take everything literally! That makes everything so much more fun!
September 17th, 2018 at 8:42 PM ^
As fun as a barrel of monkeys!
September 17th, 2018 at 10:23 PM ^
No, no -- that really wouldn't be that much fun at all.
Unless they were let loose in Urban Meyer's house. THAT would be fun.
September 18th, 2018 at 6:42 AM ^
And if the male monkeys started beating the female monkeys, rest assured, Meyer would do everything in his power to help resolve the unfortunate situation for all involved.
He would then proceed to write a letter, have an interview, and tweet about how he did everything in his power to stop the barrel of monkey males from abusing the barrel of monkey females.
His faith and family are what come first, after all, and a barrel of abusive monkeys would simply be unacceptable.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:55 PM ^
If salivating over teenagers with rock hard abs is wrong, I don't wanna be right.
September 17th, 2018 at 8:18 PM ^
IF they are over 18 then it is o.k, we need to keep some standards and decorum around here. In the meantime I will remain relatively calm and level-headed....
Best answer of the day my friend!
September 17th, 2018 at 9:56 PM ^
At least he didn't use "stud"
September 17th, 2018 at 10:16 PM ^
Or call him a "real baller".
September 17th, 2018 at 6:59 PM ^
Sigh. No one get their hopes up.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:18 PM ^
The fact that nobody has put in a Crystal Ball yet tells you everything you need to know....it's unfortunately just fluff....at least for now.
September 17th, 2018 at 8:51 PM ^
Because Crystal Balls determine where a recruit is going to commit.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:17 PM ^
in the article a "source" tells Lorenz that the chances of him going to Michigan are better than the crystal ball shows. so there is that
September 18th, 2018 at 12:12 AM ^
Considering that the ballz show a zero percent chance? Yeah, i think it's a safe bet that there's more than a zero percent chance.
September 18th, 2018 at 12:36 AM ^
Not sure what you're looking at.
Michigan is at 19%. Bama is at 50%.
September 18th, 2018 at 6:05 AM ^
his name is stupid (troll) chicken for a reason.
September 17th, 2018 at 8:48 PM ^
I hope he commits here. He would be a great get. Or...Nick Saban, a former Michigan State coach who has learned to never let go of a grudge, tells his players to include Michigan in their top 2 or 3 as a troll job. This has happened before. I hope I am wrong.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:13 PM ^
Alabama always wins. Always.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:59 PM ^
Tom Brady disagrees
September 17th, 2018 at 8:16 PM ^
Bygone era, unfortunately.
September 17th, 2018 at 11:17 PM ^
Ok then: Rashan, Nico, Aubry and Cesar say : "What up 'Bama always wins' fools? "
September 17th, 2018 at 7:14 PM ^
Bagmen going to be bagmen and throw in a new Dodge equals Roll Tide.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:39 PM ^
Who could possibly want to go to Alabama's horrible program without money involved, right?
September 17th, 2018 at 7:44 PM ^
if colin kaepernick and athletes all around the county are taking a knee, then why would anyone commit to play football for Alabama?
Declining to play for that school would be a more profound act than taking a knee. . .imho
September 18th, 2018 at 2:31 AM ^
I don't understand the reasoning, here.
September 18th, 2018 at 7:19 AM ^
http://blog.al.com/birmingham-news-stories/2013/05/bull_connor_used_fire_hoses_po.html
taking a knee to protest the oppression by police, when in Alabama the infamous Bull Connor was THE most oppressive of all police against African Americans. What better way to protest than to not go to the flagship University in the state that led the unabashed institutional oppression?
September 17th, 2018 at 8:10 PM ^
So it's just a random fact that their top players all drive brand new, top of the line Dodges.... yup your right. Not saying the track record isn't there or enough of a pull but throw in money and cars to teenagers and watch the odds change immensely.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:21 PM ^
After the way our secondary played on Saturday? Nah
September 17th, 2018 at 7:24 PM ^
If anything that should encourage him to commit to Michigan. Instant playing time given the mediocrity that is our safeties.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:31 PM ^
Did you miss the Metellus INT and TD? And the safeties in man to man? Seemed like a great game to sell him on the secondary... "just think of how much better you'll be!"
September 17th, 2018 at 7:36 PM ^
ummm... yeah, I saw Hawkins in man coverage.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:40 PM ^
"That's your competition." Seems like an easy enough sell to me.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:41 PM ^
Our secondary got gashed on Saturday by SMU, not PSU or OSU. Can we see some adjustment once in a while from Don Brown? Would it hurt to play some zone? This is why he and Harbaughs get along so well is that they live and DIE by their system.
September 17th, 2018 at 8:26 PM ^
M won the game by four scores and a good portion of SMU's points came from a coverage bust and questionable penalties. Yeah, maybe there was more that Don Brown could have done schematically to make sure it was an even bigger blowout. But it doesn't bother me that he didn't. A 25-point win is good enough for me.
Now if B1G opponents start getting favorable mismatches against M's safeties and putting wins in jeopardy, then we may have a problem. But Don Brown is a proven coordinator. Until proven otherwise I think it's fair to assume his lack of adjustments was a product of indifference, rather than inability.
September 17th, 2018 at 11:10 PM ^
Last year the running theme was that whatever you were going to get on Michigan's defense, you got in the first half because Don Brown shut that shit down at halftime. Now he's a guy that doesn't make adjustments. M fans are truly and amazing bunch.
September 17th, 2018 at 11:29 PM ^
The secondary got gashed against Rutger under Hoke.
They had a bust and gave up some slants in this game. 200ish yards.
September 18th, 2018 at 5:53 AM ^
209. Hardly a gashing. Look at Missouri for a gashing - Blough threw for over 570 yds.
September 18th, 2018 at 7:41 AM ^
SMU throwing for 209 yards is not "gashing" our secondary, particularly when 25% of that total came on one busted coverage. Stop overreacting.
