Harbaugh’s Attitude
I don’t want anyone but Harbaugh, but his attitude sucks.
Clapping on sideline after we go down 14-0 is absurd. Reminds me of Hoke.
Refusing to say a loss is a setback. Cmon man just say, it is what it is.
No in your face coaching to the online when they were getting crushed.
Can the real JH please stand up for the sake of our livelihood as fans and for your team.

Someone close to the program please tell him to wake up. It’s hurting us and making us not care and feel like we have to accept mediocrity.

I think the Administration gives Harbaugh this year and next year. If he cannot beat OSU and MSU this and next year then a replacement needs to happen. Currently Michigan is paying him $8,000,000 a year for results Hoke could have given us.
Heck, take all emotion out of it. Simply look at what Harbaugh has been able to produce with all the resources given him and his salary. He is potentially entering shaky ground...and he deserves to be. If any of us had the highest paid salary in our company, had all the resources in the world, and didn't produce anywhere close to significantly better than the previous man or woman in our job who was making a 1/4 of what we were we would already be fired.

...or we would have shut down Toys R Us.

Michigan is not "currently" paying Harbaugh $8 million a year. You cannot expect to reach accurate conclusions if you start out with data that you make up.
Plus, you cannot talk "replacement" without referring to what is replacing him. Is Michigan going to be better in 2020 and beyond with all the turmoil of a coaching change, or better with an unspectacular but still very good coach in Harbaugh?
September 2nd, 2018 at 4:58 PM ^
Very good coach meaning what? He is a father figure to his players or he puts W’s in the books?
If 8-4 or 9-3 records are the mark of good coaching, then yes he is a very good coach.

Sounds like legendary Lloyd Carr
September 2nd, 2018 at 11:42 AM ^
I liked the old headset throwing, screaming on the sidelines harbaugh.
September 2nd, 2018 at 2:23 PM ^
I agree with this - the fiery Harbaugh inspired more from his players and staff (and us as program supporters) than the calmer, subdued version we have now. I don't care if the conference fines him for speaking out - the AD should pay it and tell him to keep it up.
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:28 AM ^
He is too wired up. Literally.
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:33 AM ^
What you mean?
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:28 AM ^
Still drunk from last night?
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:35 AM ^
No I don’t drink anymore. 2 years sober.
September 2nd, 2018 at 11:31 AM ^
Maybe you should start again. At least you would have someone took blame this shit post on
September 2nd, 2018 at 11:42 AM ^
Maybe you should go in the corner and lick your balls, rug dog.
September 2nd, 2018 at 1:56 PM ^
Maybe you should delete your account, Rug Dog. Don’t come on here telling people in recovery to take up their old behavior again. Pure trash.
Congrats on two years, ‘84. Amazing.
September 2nd, 2018 at 3:15 PM ^
Thank you.
September 2nd, 2018 at 7:34 PM ^
Not a funny or clever comment. Shameful.
Lets chaulk it up to an ND loss.
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:29 AM ^
He sounded confident and seemed like his old self in pregame interviews.
Wonder why he was so optimistic.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:05 AM ^
Ha bc he actually thought he had decent tackles. He must have fell for the hype too..
September 2nd, 2018 at 11:49 AM ^
I’ve been wondering how this happens. I find it hard to believe Gary and winovich aren’t eating those guys alive every practice. Had to have been signs
September 2nd, 2018 at 2:48 PM ^
Harbaugh speaking coachspeak doesn't mean that there were no signs.
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:31 AM ^
In one of the 100 other threads about last nite someone suggested that perhaps he began taking something that was calming him down.
If you compare 2016 OSU Harbaugh and this guy it's like two different people entirely. His fire is completely gone and not coincidentally, so is the team's it appears.
I wonder....
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:35 AM ^
My theory is that his fiery actions were working against the team ie. the refs so he purposely toned it down.
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:39 AM ^
Yeah but in the first season, we just came off the loss to Utah, we were struggling against Oregon State, a rouging the punter penalty was called on his It was the first time that JH lost his shit. It fired up the crowd, it fired up the team, we ended up dominating the rest of the game.
I miss that guy.
September 3rd, 2018 at 6:38 AM ^
So you suggest he do that during an AWAY game?! This happened in OSU. He was hit witb a "you are opposing team; we are paid" penalty. And lo, there was much bereavement and bitching and moaning on Michigan Fan's part. "WHY won't he stop this madness?!" We cried.
And lo, he stopped the madness. And the team lost games. And the humans sought patterns, and found correlation. They told themselves it was causation, because -- [editor's note, we're not really sure *WHY*, we just think they are silly like that.] Well, because Reasons!!
And they were angry.
(Editors Note 2: we believe that had Michigan won, people would have delighted "wow, his new anti s really make the team better!")
September 3rd, 2018 at 6:38 PM ^
I don't recall us being angry with JH with his outburst. We were angry at the hometown officiating and the calling of technical fouls in a sport where technical fouls do not exist.
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:41 AM ^
Well tone it back up!
Fuck it, take the "T" and fire up your flat team.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:58 AM ^
Honestly. If you're going to be a crazy ass be a crazy ass.
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:51 AM ^
He can still chew a player's ass on the sideline.
Phrasing!
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:49 AM ^
Probably but we can shafted so hard by the refs last night it doesn't matter. They deferred to the purple man over us.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:55 AM ^
Can we put that ludicrous theory to rest? It hasn’t hurt Saban or pretty much every passionate guy that has ever coached football. If anything, as we saw last night, it helps your team. It was Harbaugh’s bitching at the refs got us a pass interference call.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:07 PM ^
Okay, well something else is clearly hurting the team now...
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:36 AM ^
Interesting.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:02 AM ^
He’s seemed spacey for the past year. Watching him on that Gameday interview yesterday was painful. This guy seems out of it. I’m not sure what to make of it.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:06 AM ^
Hmm, I didn't notice anything different in the interview
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:36 AM ^
I dont think he is dealing well with not having instant success and not being viewed as a coaching savant anymore. He's on tilt a little bit trying to figure it out.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:11 AM ^
I have wondered the same thing because he went from being one of the most animated coaches on the sideline to almost the complete opposite. I don't think that's something you can control that easily. For those of us who have a tendency to yell at the tv when watching a game, we've all been in situations where we are watching a game with the in-laws or someone that you need to tone it down for. Then a bullshit flag is thrown and you find yourself jumping around and shouting "These refs are fucking cheaters" while everyone else is just sitting and looking at you like you're crazy. - Seriously you can't just decide to be calm and it has to be a hundred times harder for a coach.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:57 AM ^
I don't know about that - I thought he was quite animated on the sidelines last night, working the refs pretty hard. It looked like he earned us a makeup call on PI.
I think we're getting into confirmation bias at this point.
September 2nd, 2018 at 11:42 AM ^
I hope you're right. Because if he's medicating his crazy, it's over. The meds kill the talent along with the crazy.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:37 PM ^
If he is medicating, what are we guessing? Antidepressants or Adderall?
September 2nd, 2018 at 1:57 PM ^
I take meds and I think I still have talent
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:34 AM ^
From the second Michigan ran onto the field before the game I knew something was wrong. They were jogging, you could see zero enthusiasm. Game starts, they're slow, lethargic, emotionless. I hardly saw anyone get excited and jump up and down. Like it was this 1st class business trip when really they're sitting last row in economy. The coaching staff did the team zero favors, and in the return the players didn't play well. Absolutely pathetic
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:59 AM ^
so you mean the pregame speech didn't work?
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:41 AM ^
I’m sure the speech that went in 6 different directions that ended with carrying the football like a diaper was very inspiring
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:46 PM ^
But did you see chase's swimming celebration though?
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:35 AM ^
It seems like a black cloud has followed the program ever since the RichRod hire. It's like he cursed the entire program.
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:39 AM ^
I’m running with this.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:05 AM ^
It is a string of bad coaching hires that is clouding the program. There is no curse, just bad coaching.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:40 AM ^
Or the mike hart curse continues on.
September 2nd, 2018 at 2:58 PM ^
This team is cursed with a black cloud just like Scott Salem.
