One step behind Cramblin Duvet!

I heard this show was funny.
It's not.*
*The segments with Harbaugh were funny because Harbaugh. The pepperoni on the cheek bit? Yikes.

I heard you weren’t a Debbie downer.
You are

If you were posting from a cemetery, dead to the world, how strong would your sense of humor be?

I watched it just to see how good the show is. Its not my type of humor

I’m with you. That was almost painfully bad.

Like Little Caesars pizza.

Yeah I heard similar sentiments, but solely based on that clip (which probably isn't fair), that isn't a good show. Harbaugh freaking out was somewhat funny, but not as good as I hoped.

Terrible

Judging by this clip the show looks awful. But cool to see coach on tv again.

That I agree with. I love that he can laugh at himself.

He really has to dump the glasses and get contacts... ever since he did so, oddly enough the team has slid. Perception is reality and he just looks much older with them, vs say, the Stanford years, or even his first year here.

"much older with them, vs say, the Stanford years..."
So he looks older than he did between 8 and 11 years ago.....hmmm.

I agree 100%. He said he specifically was going for the Woody Hayes look, and I always hated the Woody Hayes spectacle look. Woody to me always looked like a classic "Get off my Lawn" guy who was also the secret neighborhood pedophile. And also fuck Ohio State and anything to do with them.

It's cool to see the fowling warehouse in Hamtramck on there. It's a fun place!

Hilarious. I really enjoyed it. I love our coach.

If I wasn’t from Metro Detroit and didn’t get all the inside jokes, I don’t think Detroiters would be remotely funny. And I otherwise like this kind of stuff.
With that said, the Rick Mahorn and Mort Crim episodes were two of the funniest things I’ve seen on TV in recent years. Especially the Mort episode. And I love the little details, like Sam reading Karn on the Cobb or Tootin’ Mahorn, etc. And Devereux Wigs!

Yeah, I love Detroiters but I wonder what people who aren't from Detroit think of it. There's just so much inside stuff that you'd only get if you grew up in metro Detroit. I guess people must like it a bit though if its on its second season. Hope it gets a third.

I agree that the Harbaugh/Little Caesar's episode wasn't one of the better episodes. Right now the show is a bit uneven. It has some great moments, but also some that are just so-so. The question is whether they are about to hit their stride and be consistently funny or have they scattered all of their good jokes over the episodes to date and are about to run out of steam completely.

Okay, so Harbaugh was pretty cool in poking fun at himself. That was good to see! The rest of the clip was awful. I'm just gonna go ahead and say that I haven't missed anything from the show...

I feel ya coach, I suck at fowling too. Just cannot bring myself to throwing at peoples shins!

Horrible clip and not funny in any sense.

I'm a huge fan of this show. I get the humor. I'd watch it even without the insider Detroit jokes. It doesn't mean everybody has to and you're free to dislike it. But every butthole in this thread saying "I heard this show is funny but I watched this cold opening scene from Episode 19 and I can definitively say it is NOT FUNNY!" are complete morons.
There's been over 6 hours worth of Detroiters episodes. That's like me walking into a theater having never even heard of Star Wars and the first scene I see is Princess Leia talking to an Ewok and saying "Fuck this puppet shit. People like this stuff? Star Wars is stupid. I'm out!"
It's a slapstick comedy. Plenty of people won't get it or enjoy it. Basing your opinion off of that clip alone is ludicrous. And now back to football.
