Had 2 season football tickets since 1979, never missed a home game, went to many away games. had to give them up 2 years ago, wife got sick. I lived and died Michigan sports. Now 76, still watch, but the extreme passion is gone. wife would always know when we lost, I was distraught. The new era of college sports has taken the luster off. When we won natty's in basketball, football, softball, hockey and gymnastics I was geeked and couldn't sleep. Glad they won this year, but the fire is gone.
My 30 year season ticket streak came to an end last year. Having not missed a home game in that span and been to many away games, I'm done. I used to live and die all UM sports, but the thrill is gone. Still a huge fan of all UM sports, but all sports now have become a passing interest. Back in the late 70's and early 80's I also had Lions tickets at the Silverdome. Completely gave up on all pro sports by the early 90's. Loved the passion and tradition of college sports, but feel that is now also gone.
Went to Ohio State twice in the early 80's. First trip wore Michigan gear, got spit on and beer thrown on me, tried standing and cheering and thought I was gonna be attacked. 2nd trip wore plain clothes and kept my mouth shut and sat the whole time and was OK. Never again.
With heartfelt sorrow, I'm done. Had my 2 seats since 1980 (never missed a home game). Can't justify the expense anymore. Last football year I had to sell my one ticket (could not get anyone to go with me). Walked all around the stadium trying to sell it for anything and finally gave it away. Probably still go to a game or 2, but will now purchase a ticket off the street.
My daughter bougth a new 800 square foot condo in Bushwick, Brooklyn New York 6 years ago for $299,000. She sold it in January for $625,000. Her friend in the same building sold her 850 sq, footer with a walk out patio yesterday for $800,000, market there is stupid.
I'm done! Great ride had my 2 since 1980, have never missed a home game, daughter even scheduled her wedding around the games. Just not worth it anymore. Last few years watching tickets on the street going for peanuts. One game I tried to sell my other ticket and ended up giving it away. Was great fun while it lasted. Loved the experience, but at 73, I'll just sit or lay in front of my flat screen and drink a beer. Thanks for the memories.
I was in section 38, I came to the conclusion after I tried to sell one of my tickets last year and what it was worth, that it's not worth it anymore. If I really want to go to a game again, I will just buy one on the street. I discovered that they are always available, and real cheap just before kick off.
2 season tickets since 1980, not going to renew, just not worth it anymore! Yesterday was the first game I have missed, even had tickets in the student section in 78-79 from a friends son. It's just not fun anymore!
I bet if they would just come right out and tell white cops to stop shooting unarmed blacks this would just all go away. If I am correct, there were 14 unarmed blacks killed by all cops last year. More police were killed, go figure.

Got hooked on the first episode, watched all in real time, Donna's character was the best.
Two words, Race Hustler says it all.

You forgot about "East Side Story." Saw them in 1965 in AA at the Fifth Dimension.
Don't have time to watch, give us a quick recap, thanks

Thanks and congratulations.
I don't care, I have never witnessed a starting pro QB as bad as this guy.
2-0 UM end of 2

What is the USMNT?
After listening to Ufer and then Beckman, don't think anyone will compare.
Sitting on LZ baldy in Nam in 1968 listening to the UM-OSU game with some comrades from Ohio.
What do players do to get kicked out of the face off circle, never understood it.
Over a year ago I ran the Fair Adblocker extension. Has worked great, only problem I have has was M Live. Never had a problem with the Daily Mail.

Red Robin with the fried egg is the best burger!
Now we will get to watch a 2-5 team play instead. Can't wait for that one.
Why do these schools have all these massive endowments if they can't help the students?
Tickets since 1980, I'm just about finished with all football, hard to imagine me renewing.
First time in school history to start 0-5.
The most impressive stat, 11 goals in 2 games, scored by 10 different players, that's balanced scoring.

If you honestly believe that 190,000 figure is real and accurate, then I've got a bridge in Brooklyn that you should buy.
They can also survive with not going to liquor stores, pot selling stores and casinos, but of course those store generate taxes so they are okay.

Ya got me, pro sports boycotting has completely changed my mind and my whole outlook. I've had a revelation.
As a former Detroit cop, you nailed it!
Try restraing a person strung out on fentanyl, good luck with that.
And give of their pay for the year, oh yea, lets see how dedicated they really are to the cause.
You also missed the coroners report where he should have been dead from the amount of fentynal he he had in his system.
