Hearing Rutger McGroarty, Winnipeg’s 2022 first-rounder, will return for his junior year at Michigan. Jets and his advisors discussed today, and team supported his decision.

Shows how much I know. The two I felt most likely to come back (Nazar and Brindley) are gone and the one I though was gone for sure is back.

Michigan has a projected first rounder and a second rounder coming in at forward. Hoping Hughes doesn’t get too much free agency interest from the NHL and Duke comes back(edit: welp, missed that he signed too). Coupled with the return from injury from Hallum, and another year from Moldenhauer and Schifsky, we should reload pretty well offensively.

Defense is a bigger question mark as we wait to hear on Casey (NJ is pretty stacked defensively so I can see him back, but could also see him biding his time in the AHL).

I'll wait to hear it from McGroarty. Ever since the USMCA dairy importation dispute of 2022, I don't trust Canadians.

A nice return given a couple of guys departing earlier than expected.

They've got recruits coming in who are talented but obviously nice to have some veteran top-end talent as well.

This is huge news.  Now we just need a defenseman or two to stay.  And I keep forgetting Jackson Hallum was a good looking player who was injured very early this season.  I assume he’ll be back and hopefully 100% healthy.

1:17 from elimination, the Wings tie it 4-4 to send the game to overtime and stay alive for another night.  90 pts is the bare minimum.  Also, they need the Caps to lose to Philly tomorrow night.

Edit: Wings win in OT.

Now they need to gain a point tomorrow night on the Caps and not lose a point to the Pens.  (And gaining a point on the Caps would eliminate the Flyers.)
