Per Inside source: Alabama is scared to play Army.

Submitted by Blue-Ray on September 12th, 2019 at 2:39 PM

Saban has stated numerous times that legit out of conference teams are won't/are scared to play them... Army is an Independent. All the coaches agree their style is legit. ✔

If they had a home-home with them, Bama would have to play them way away from home in New York...Something they rarely do. Then, who pays who, and how much. ?

They're unconventional and therefore hard to prepare for...thus taking away the SEC's easy extra bye week and lack of another conference game. Double ✔✔

And It's not limited to Bama either...Clemson, Georgia, and any other Top or SEC team can get in on the action.

It's just records show Bama hasn't played them since 1988... A 29-28 win by BAMA.

There's other benefits to it also. Like making them earn that playoff spot. (Just didn't wanna get all tl:dr-ish)

It'll be kind of like a college football pace car.

Can our Vocal Minority Cannon/media people, with free time looking for something to write/tweet/post, start this campaign during the bye week? Has to be more productive than negatively rehashing a guilty win.

Bold strategy, I know...Leaders and Best! Go Blue!

You claim you have an inside source but fail to mention what their connection with the team is and poorly put together a terrible series of easily attainable facts. I hate bye weeks.

Um..We haven't played Army since 1962 before this game.....Lets face it Army is tough. A very tough offense to prepare for. BUT....We shot ourselves in the foot way to many times the last few games. Stop looking for reasons why we barely beat Army. I'm a  Army Combat vet of 10 years. We pride ourselves in discipline. Army's play showed that. Michigan's play didn't. They were sloppy. Period. Other top B10 programs would have beat Army by 14 or more points. We just need to play better fundamentally. Hopefully the coaching staff rectify these problems this week and we show up to Wisconsin hanging onto the ball, catching the ball and running the ball for chunks of yards that are there for the taking on RPO plays.

This post is reaching..... Please just stop.

Bad post but to address the substance, if one can call it that, who cares? I’d prefer Michigan and the B1G (8 conference games instead of 9) to be smarter with scheduling also.

yeah....usually I visit MGoBlog quite a bit throughout the work day when I need a break from the BS.   I've been finding myself not wanting to come to the board more and more because it just adds to that BS pile...a lot of whats on here lately is whiny/not fun/sad

I get it, offense has issues, we looked bad last weekend, yada yada yada. I used to laugh a lot more when I came here  ..sigh

Oh and, for anyone who hasnt heard the MGoBlog round table yet, if you are already full of 100% doom and gloom, dont listen.

First, kudos on the disjointed, nonsensical drivel that completely fails to back up the assertion of your post title.

Second, more kudos on an assertion that would cause the entire Alabama football program to fatally self-combust in hysterical laughter if they read it.

Every year as O.T. season ends I remind people that O.T. posts are not nearly as bad as the incredibly stupid posts that are created in season by either children (my guess is Blue Ray is about 14), total idiots or both.  And everybody tells me I'm nuts.

And then posts like appear, and everybody says "hey now I get it man-you're right".
