Cole Sullivan Has Committed To Michigan
Michigan Football received the commitment of 3* LB Cole Sullivan on Friday night for their 2024 recruiting class:

Sullivan is currently ranked 597th in the 247 composite, the 56th ranked linebacker and 16th ranked player in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Sullivan had turned in a Michigan/Notre Dame battle in recent weeks, with the Wolverines trending hard for him. Sullivan is now the second LB in the 2024 class for Michigan, joining Mason Curtis, who gave his commitment to the Wolverines a long time ago. Next names up at the position include in-state 4* Jeremiah Beasley and 4* Maryland 'backer Aaron Chiles, both of whom are leaning to the Maize & Blue at this point in time.
Sullivan will get his proper Hello next week. There is no content after the jump.
LBU, OLU, QBU, RBU, TEU, DLU? Forgive me, I've lost track.
hoping at least someone here gives me credit for correctly calling it the "Commonwealth of Pennsylvania"
I noticed. This is why I prefer MGoBlog. The pedantry and erudition here is just second to none in the sportsball media space.
welcome young man!
People on Reddit calling him yoked up Frodo. I can see it
Yes please. Eat more Po-Ta-Toes Frodo!
Hope this re-establishes a PA foothold (Massaquoi, Jackson, Breaston, Henne, Winovich, Hudson) just like they're doing in Ohio. Right now Semaj Bridgeman is the only PA guy on the roster, but it's a start. Too much talent in the Commonwealth (thanks Alex) to ignore.
Let me know when they start selling jersey’s in PA. That’ll be a start.
How does someone with that film only be the #16 player in Pa. Must be favoring the skill positions when voting.
I think he’s just fairly new on the scene. Didn’t start getting offers until this past January, with only Kent State offering in 2022. His background for his sophomore year of high school is “played snaps on both sides of the ball.” So most likely he didn’t attend many (or any) camps last summer, then blew up during football season and the recruiting sites haven’t fully evaluated him since camp season is just starting.
The sites are generally hesitant to rank kids high solely on film, so they might adjust after seeing him in camps this summer. Or they’ll see he’s already committed and it’s not worth re-visiting his rankings. That’s the downside to people taking an imperfect/subjective ranking system so serious.
ESPN doesn’t even HAVE a ranking for him, Rivals is notorious for only giving in-depth evaluations to players who attend THEIR camps, On3 seems to be highest on him but remains a 3*, and 247 just has a generic ranking with not much scouting available. Seems like IF they take the time to actually evaluate him and if he participates in camps, he’ll see a rise in the rankings.
It takes like 3 plays into his Hudl tape to be wow'd by him
No kidding. Such a great sense for the ball and where it's going to be. Love the play where he doesn't even seem to realize/care he has a soft cast on.
Ben Gedeon 2.0: The Highest Motor
...runs to the ball, and theaters, Fall 2024.
Gym Rat: The Cole Sullivan Story
...a true winner, in theaters Fall '24.
Cole Sullivan: Lunch Pail Guy
...critics call it "Gedeon, The Grinder," but grittier, scrappier...it out hustles the original with deceptive speed. Brian Cook says, "this remake has all the intangibles and gets the most out of its ability."
Sully And His High Football IQ
...the thrilling story of an underrated linebacker who plays the game the right way.
Beat me to all the "white guy" things. Thanks.
Probably end up 6’4 250 ish after Herb gets him in the weight room.Sounds like an edge or in the box thumper that can run sideline to sideline.Win win if you ask me.
