My son went to the camp. Coach took some pics with him, signed some things for him and talked to him for about 10 minutes about various things. My son had an unbelievable time being around him!
He seems like a very good kid. My son's school is in the same conference and we talked with him for awhile after they played us in football and basketball. Wish he had stayed Blue but will still root for him on Saturdays for the next 4 years.
This made my son very happy! Mario was his favorite player and we actually had the chance to meet him after the UNLV game. Seemed like a very good and glad he is getting a chance to play at the next level.
Born and raised in Indiana my whole life. Got tired of hearing about Indiana, Notre Dame and Purdue. The first NCAA tournament I ever watched was in '89. Saw Glen Rice play and became an instant Wolverine fan! Then the next fall I saw those Michigan football helmets and it's been nothing but Maize and Blue in my life since!
I really don't think that just because he doesn't care which font we use means that he doesn't give a rat's ass about tradition. I agree. It's just a font. Michigan football tradition is about more than the font that is being used on uniforms!
Does anyone else think that the team actually looks more balanced without him in the lineup? Don't get me wrong we definitely will need him down the stretch. The team just seems to move the ball around a lot more with the current lineup. I think Caris sometimes does too much dribbling and one-on-one which can make the offense kinda stagnant. Very impressed with how Irvin has developed over the last 5 games or so!
I'm from the area also. Where are you from? I'm in Centerville so share your worries. While you can't teach that kind of speed you hope it doesn't get overwhelmed at a D-1 program. I think he could be a good return man or slot type player though.
I watched him play my boys' high school team last week. 5 touchdowns in the first half and pulls away from people almost effortlessly! Got pics and a couple UofM memorabilia signed by him after the game.
My son and I saw him walking down the street after the UNLV game. He is my son's favorite player. He got off his phone, talked to my son and I for a few minutes and did some pics with my son. Seemed very polite and seemed to enjoy interacting with a fan. Now one of my favorite players because of this and I know my son will never forget meeting him!
He is my new favorite player. We met him after the UNLV game and he actually got off his phone to talk to my boys for a few minutes and took a couple pics with us. Very nice guy!
I still can't believe no other channels picked this game up! I have Dish and can't get Fox Sports 1 so have to hope I can find a good stream. If anyone knows of any good ones please pass them on! Go Blue!!
Enis plays for a local high school in my area so looking forward to seeing him in person a few times this fall. Plays for a small school against lower class competition but still excited to watch him play.
I know we have been on Mattison a lot but gotta give him and this D staff some props for keeping this defense playing. Most D's would have given up on this offense by now. They are still playing their asses off despite getting no help from the offense!
Anyone see the last Auburn turnover? Receiver caught the ball, took 2 steps, got hit and fumbled. Called a catch and fumble! Further proof we got a bad call last week on Darboh's catch!
This is crap that it was shortened! They looked the other way while a football coach was raping young kids in football facilities! No amount of punishment would be enough for that act! Yet 18-20 year old kids take money because the NCAA won't allow them to have an income and those schools get burned for twice as long! And I agree with a poster below that the NCAA should have announced this in front of those victims and their families!
