Is this the meme every year…

Is this the meme every year..the soft team of 5 stars?  Their OL will be very experienced like ours has been the past 3 years.  Their Defense held us to less yards than what they got.  Graham and Grant were non factors.  Not sure about QB...but whomever starts will have a plethora of skill players...and their QB's can run...unlike McCord.  A lot more to defend for sure.

Holy Crap....2025 looks…

Holy Crap....2025 looks bleak.  A returning QB helps if it's Orji.

Somewhat easing that…

Somewhat easing that pressure is a chance in the CFB tournamant.  So really the pressure on both teams will be alleviated somewhat unless one of the teams has 2 or more losses.

We lost everyone on the OL,…

We lost everyone on the OL, a clever QB, and Corum...their DL is still a load.  So yeah, I'd be concerned.

+1,000,000. We're all behind…

+1,000,000. We're all behind and with you Mike!!!!

Ronnie Bell and Jake Moody…

Ronnie Bell and Jake Moody for sure.

Alabama has the most number…

Alabama has the most number 1st Round picks in the NFL draft history.  They also have the most current NFL players.  Most all chosen early in the draft and probably signed long term deals with the teams that picked them.  So the assumption that Bama players don't develop is ridiculous. And I hate Bama.

It's cool and everything but…

It's cool and everything but really if the Alabama's of the world have their players picked in the early rounds by the worse teams they're not going to be in the Super Bowl.    Only those players picked in the later rounds by the ususal suspects who play in the Super Bowl. Really it's not much of a flex.

Without the roster,…

Without the roster, obviously.

So you're confident in…

So you're confident in basically the 2nd/3rd string OL in C-Bus next year?  Without Blake?

And culture is built with…

And culture is built with familararity.  Half of our team including the 23 recruiting class is going to be new.  OSU's roster will be similar to ours in 2023.  I wouldn't discount their defense against a new OL.  Tyliek Williams is a pro prospect and the OL and DL have some 22/23 prospects that are rated pretty high.  Our DL didn't exactly blow up their OL last year.  Let's not get over our ski's.  It's going to be a battle in C-Bus.

Some regulating body needs…

Some regulating body needs to step in and stop the madness.  They must both calendarize the offseason and regulate the recruiting and portal transactions of this sport that we all grew up with and used to love.  It'll die without NFL type rules for parity.

Bro...most of our OL were…

Bro...most of our OL were portals.  Every team has holes that need to be filled.  Recruits flame out and attrition is real.

Jimmy accomplished the…

Jimmy accomplished the hardest tasks a coach is tasked with...he kept a group of players to stay together and become a cohesive unit.  The oldest roster in college football. I just wish he woukd have recruited better....2025 could be ugly.

Day does have a reputation…

Day does have a reputation for putting QB's in the league, going to the Heisman ceremony, and playing in a passing offense.  Haskins, Fields, and Stroud was quite a run.

It was fabricated....there's…

It was fabricated....there's no story...the source is a butt hurt FSU fan in his basement.

OSU is still over the…

OSU is still over the scholly limit.  They'll be more attrition.  It's the new norm.

I read where Hartline was at…

I read where Hartline was at Jamie Ffrench's game (5 star WR in the 2025 class) and Smith showed up as well to watch his game.  All this is fabricated brouhaha and is being used for the obvious purposes.

I know they're low on the…

I know they're low on the power index, but WKU's QB, Austin Reed is an upper echelon QB.

Both Corum and Edwards need…

Both Corum and Edwards need to come through in the biggest games.  The Georgia and TCU games from a statistical standpoint are horrible.  Sure the OL and RB's get it done during the regular season cake walk...although OSU bottled Edwards up for most of the game, but when the sledding got tough...not so much.   It's still a bit much to throw such greatness accolades at Corum and Edwards.  Hart, Wheatly, Thomas were on another level IMO.

Love your analysis and look…

Love your analysis and look forward to the next groups.  The only critique I have is the assumption of UM's new starters on both the OL and DL will be better than OSU's new starters on those same units.  The recruiting star power is in OSU's favor so there's that.  Jenkins will be a load to handle and Mason is quick...but will they be better than Mazi?  Guess I'm still shell shocked how TCU treated our DL.

Munford didn'y play last…

Munford didn'y play last year...Dawand Jones was the RT.

In context...I meant as far…

In context...I meant as far as capitalizing on the recent success...after 2021 was the staff and Jimmy even recruiting?  Seems like they hit the 'pause' button to see exactly what JH was going to do.  Meanwhile they lost focus on the 22,23,24 recruits and the relationship building took a hit.  Identifying targets, getting them on campus, continuing contact after the visits?  Seems there's a disconnect somewhere.

But LJ had the Bosa Bros,…

But LJ had the Bosa Bros, Chas Young, Davon Hamilton, Dremont Jones, and more all in the NFL. Some young guys this year with Hall, Kanu, Jackson, Moore...all high 4 stars.  I don't buy this downtrend.  OSU's defensive staff has been through a transitioning period and the results have been horrible.  Michigans staff offers more continuity even though Elston is fairly new.  IMO recruitng classes take years to build and we seemed to have dropped the ball...especially when Jimmy was probing the NFL.  OSU seems to have a well oiled machine and they're creating relationships years in advance.
