Delay of game after a kickoff? You have got to be kidding me.

Pretty sure we got more…

Pretty sure we got more analysis on the upcoming playoff games than the one we were watching today. Not that there was much good to cover in this game, but still.

Start off with two passing…

Start off with two passing plays and move the ball 20 yards. Imagine that.

Can GoingGoingBlue be banned…

Can GoingGoingBlue be banned please? They have ruined two threads now with idiotic multi posts.

Gary will be an extremely…

Gary will be an extremely interesting case. He'll test off the charts at the combine, show some things in shorts, but when you put in the game tape, I just don't think he lives up to the hype. I know teams focused a lot of attention on him, but he could go games without much more than a mention in the broadcast. I'm sure he'll be drafted in the 1st round, but I'd be cautious with him.

Bush on the other hand should absolutely go. Only knock against him is his height, but the dude can straight out ball. He fits the new age linebacker mold of a smaller, quicker guy who can cover sideline to sideline. He will be a fun one to watch at the next level.

For the sake of next year's team, I really hope both corners come back. They will be integral in that defense being a top-10 unit or one that struggles a bit early on.

Gil does not have the speed…

Gil does not have the speed or athleticism to match up with this speed. I'd like to see two linebacker sets with Ross and Bush and just find another way to get more speed out there.

I don't think this is…

I don't think this is anything new this year. Seems like we have consistently done this and we kept hoping the coaches had something else in the bag for this game.

Pollack literally pains me…

Pollack literally pains me with his 'analysis'.

Really, Michigan gives the…

Really, Michigan gives the Big Ten by far the best shot at getting into the Playoff. If we don't get at least a neutrally officiated game, that would reveal a lot about what might be going on behind the scenes here.

I'm hoping the refs take a back seat, let the guys play, and keep a handle on the inevitable chippy shots that will take place.

Hopefully the last Big Ten…

Hopefully the last Big Ten game those hacks ever ref again.

I think your head and heart…

I think your head and heart are the opposite of mine. In my head, and I think any rational non-Michigan fan's head as well, Michigan should win this game. One of the most stingy defenses in the country and an offense that is tracking to be well above average against a team that has a brutal loss to Purdue and has looked extremely beatable against far less superior teams.

My heart, or stomach, not sure after Thanksgiving, just won't let me go there yet. After all of the unexplainable events of the past decade and OSU just seemingly to always have our number in recent memory, I'm exponentially more nervous about this game than I should.

I think Michigan wins tomorrow, but I won't be comfortable until the clock hits double zeros and the teams celebrating at midfield of Ohio Stadium.

And you saw exactly what…

And you saw exactly what happens when teams get away with that sort of thing. That hit on Edwards was completely unnecessary (the defender ran right past the ball carrier and then launched himself into his head) and could have dramatically changed his life forever.

The fact that last year's…

The fact that last year's game was even close with JOK gives a decent insight into that they did throw out quite a few wrinkles. Seems like every other teams saves up special stuff for us, so makes sense that we would do the same to them.

Announcers were saying he…

Announcers were saying he holds (or is tied for) the longest kick in Michigan HS history, which I think was about 57. Factoring in different conditions and rules, seems like he should be able to go to at least mid-40's, but that is basically a total guess.

MSU and OSU have to be the…

MSU and OSU have to be the two luckiest teams in the country I swear. OSU defense played terrible today and will get shredded next week.

I think that's on the QB…

I think that's on the QB there. Get a guy wide open and just miss your shot.

Wide open and you shank it…

Wide open and you shank it that bad. Maryland you should feel bad and remove yourselves from the Big Ten.

That escalated quickly.

That escalated quickly.

And move them right back. FFS

And move them right back. FFS

Back em up!

Back em up!

One stop. Please.

One stop. Please.

How do you not even get a…

How do you not even get a pass attempt off those past 2 throws? Terrible blocking and awareness.

This game just completely flipped to OSU in my opinion.

Maryland cannot let this get…

Maryland cannot let this get to OT, they have no hope to make a stop on defense.

He tackled the DE to the…

He tackled the DE to the ground and nothing.

This OSU v Maryland game…

This OSU v Maryland game looking like a Big 12 game, no defense anywhere.

How is this guy on TV still?…

How is this guy on TV still? He offers absolutely no insight and even the other commentators have to keep correcting his stupidity. It's quite embarrassing for ESPN.

Past about the top 6, there…

Past about the top 6, there can't be much thought going into these rankings.

OSU goes on the road and beats a ranked team and doesn't move. Florida limps their way to a win and moves up. Makes no sense.

The fact that there are so many teams with multiple losses really lets the committee work these rankings to their advantage.

Florida took a 21 point loss…

Florida took a 21 point loss to a .500 (at the time) team. Defies logic how they are sitting at 15.

SEC bias is still alive and…

SEC bias is still alive and well. LSU and Florida taking ugly losses and barely dropping just continue to prop up everyone else.

As others have pointed out, SEC and ACC appear to be criminally overvalued at this point.

I no longer have faith in the

I no longer have faith in the direction of this program after this showing. It's always next year, next year, next year.

I don't see how we aren't looking another 8-4 season right in the face. The schedule is pretty brutal and our current coaching situation fills me with zero confidence that they could gameplan effectively for the big games.

Very dissapointing start to 2018.

Unfortuntely yes, but seeing

Unfortuntely yes, but seeing it in writing that we were 118th in something is still quite surprising.

Did not realize we were that

Did not realize we were that bad at giving up sacks. Better tighten that up for next year a whole lot if we expect to go far. Don't care who your QB is, if he has no time he's not going to do much.

That said, SoCar should be a good win to get 2018 off on the right foot.

I'm personally getting a bit

I'm personally getting a bit tired of the Florida bowl games, but this will be a great opportunity to get a win vs an SEC school and show out in a talent rich state. Without too much insight, I think we stack up pretty well against these guys and should be able to come out with a W.

Exactly, I can see missing

Exactly, I can see missing that spot live but to keep it on the review is criminal.

Yes, we're shooting ourselves

Yes, we're shooting ourselves in the foot, but holy shit this is getting to be too much to take. That block in the back on Glasgow that wasn't called was worse than the short spot.

The amount of respect the SEC

The amount of respect the SEC still gets is unreal. LSU at 19 is an absolute joke if you're going to leave Michigan unranked.

Brian Smith

Actually, it's five. Please don't forget about Brian Smith!

Am I the only one with some

Am I the only one with some concerns over Fleck? I think he could be a good fit at a school like Cincy, but I just don't think he's ready for big time yet.

Guys who are CEO style head coaches just give me a lot of pause and then couple that with the fact that he's really a rah rah type coach, I'm not convienced.

Is there enough coaching

Is there enough coaching talent out there this year to justify all these firings?

Really looks like a lot of schools are going to be reaching for guys just to fill spots.

Going to wonder what this

Going to wonder what this season could have been for a long, long time. It really feels like we're one of the top 4 teams in the country.

Just got to go out now and destroy our bowl matchup.

Agreed, but there is a

Agreed, but there is a difference between going out of your way for a team and doing your fucking job.

Michigan did not get one 50/50 call their way and I can kind of live with that. But those refs swallowed their whistles on some of the most obvious calls I've ever seen and that is not okay.

Those refs were paid to officiate the game based on the rules of football and they simply did not do that, plain and simple. If they can't do their jobs even somewhat correctly, they should no longer have them.

This pisses me off beyond

This pisses me off beyond belief.

I hate being THAT guy, but at some point it becomes too much to take. When is the last time Michigan has gotten a majority of the calls? Sure, we get the missed call here and there, but every team gets that. The fact that those refs were going to be perfectly content calling one penalty for one yard on OSU (before the obvious false start) is just sickening.

The amount of holding that OSU got away with, both on offense AND defense is just unreal. And that call on Harbaugh for throwing his headset may be the worst penalty I've ever seen. Check that, the play where Darboh was tackled before the ball even got to him was the worst non-penalty I've ever seen.

The refs decided that game for OSU and in the process robbed Michigan of a shot at the Big Ten title and CFP and I am beyond pissed about it.

The worst part is Penn State

The worst part is Penn State gets to go to the title game. It makes me sick that school is even allowed to have a football team and they get to go play for a shot at glory, and that's ignoring the fact they're the 3rd best team in the DIVISION!

Michigan is by far the best team in the Big Ten and we're the ones who should be in Indy next week.

Like others have said, I hate

Like others have said, I hate complaining about the refs but at some point something needs to be done. If OSU didn't have a super obvious false start, which would raise some serious questions if not called, those refs would have called 1 penalty. For 1 yard. Sure.

I keep thinking of all the missed calls to end our drives or extend OSU's just far enough. Darboh was literally tackled by the corner before the ball got to him and nothing.

Michigan played one hell of a game and deserved to win. Yeah there were a few missed plays, bad play calls, and other mental mistakes, but when has a team ever played a perfect game?

I thought this was our year, I really did. The fact that we had the Big Ten title game and a shot at the CFP ripped from us is just absolutely crushing.

Fall weekends are the best

Fall weekends are the best weekends...

Go Blue!

1 day closer to Michigan

1 day closer to Michigan football.

Only thing keeping me going at this point.

Especially since PSU lost so

Especially since PSU lost so much off the d-line and Hackenberg. Sure, he might not have played too well last year, but he was starting for a reason.

Yeah, I'm sure they're really

Yeah, I'm sure they're really looking into it diligently

Happy 4th

Enjoy the 3 day weekend everyone

Happy 4th!
