I don't really get the move …

I don't really get the move -- George Jr. didn't show that much at Illinois. Hope he does better here.

How on earth is that an

How on earth is that an enforceable condition? If that's actually a condition, I doubt that would stand up if challenged.

Though I know virtually

Though I know virtually nothing about hockey recruiting, I admire your passion for the topic. Good luck to our guys!

Anything that hastens the

Anything that hastens the return of NCAA College Football is A-OK in my book. I hope they let you do recruiting dirty tricks next time.

I like Southern Tier's "Where

I like Southern Tier's "Where the Hell's Summer", but I don't know if it's available near you. My palate is unrefined, I have to admit usually going with whatever Samuel Adams is available.

LOL, I can't imagine

LOL, I can't imagine Sketchers has a prayer in this lawsuit but after all the adidas nonsense I wish them the best of luck

Hell yeah, love to hear that

Hell yeah, love to hear that from players on the far side of the country

Good for him. I can't imagine

Good for him. I can't imagine going through what he has and still persisting with a college basketball career.

On the same note, has anyone else seen the story Dana O'Neil did on him at ESPN a few years ago? I'll link it below, but it's in the long form sort of writing and is absolutely phenomenal.

That is, uh, quite the

That is, uh, quite the ensemble in DJ Carton's tweet.

I don't usually trust the basketball recruiting predictions since money talks much more so than school quality, but we've got to start seeing these top guys coming here more often because of our track record of producing NBA talent. At some point, UM is a blue-chipper school.

Nothing fancy but I'm going

Nothing fancy but I'm going to see Dirty Revival at the Star Theater in my hometown tonight. I haven't gotten to see an actual band live in a couple of years so I'm ready to have achy eardrums tomorrow!

Is Dwayne Casey a bad coach?

Is Dwayne Casey a bad coach? I've heard of COTY getting fired before, but only in cases like George Karl, who is a real jerk towards his players. It seems ridiculous to fire a coach after getting the top seed. Sure the Raptors got swept, but Cleveland shot ridiculously well in the series. Somebody's going to get a good coach.

Is that right? That's a good

Is that right? That's a good sign.

I've heard that Clemson and

I've heard that Clemson and OSU, in that order, are his top two, but anyone from Ohio who's not automatically going to the home team is worth fighting for.

At this point they can't even

At this point they can't even bring in an outsider to salvage face. They ought to burn down the whole Board of Trustees and start fresh. They won't, of course.

Yes, mostly by allowing

Yes, mostly by allowing Southern coaches to be lazier and restricting choices for recruits. We're still going to recruit gangbusters but it makes it a lot harder for Harbaugh to land Aubrey Solomons and players of that caliber. We just have to find ways around the hypocrisy, even if the NCAA rules commissions and the southern schools are so nakedly protecting themselves.

I'm torn.

On the one hand, if it is illegal to ask about it in Massachusetts, it's understandable why it didn't come up then. It's 20 years in the past now, so as long as he's had a clean 20 years it's understandable to let this ride out.

On the other hand, do the Lions really want to stand by a guy with these allegations against him? Say what you will about this coming out *now* but I sure wouldn't want them to. If Patricia hadn't been hired, it would be disqualifying information.

Sounds fun.
