It's one of the biggest reasons Meyer and OSU are about to land the best recruiting class in school history. Top players will only be here for 3 years so it's better to play them early and get something out of them in their first year. If Peppers is as good as we think he'll be, he's gonna be gone after this season. That means we only saw him play at Michigan for two full years.
Orlovsky started 5 games for the Colts in Caldwell's last year in Indy (2-14 season). That's the only reason I can think of why they even brought Orlovsky back in Detroit. It honestly makes zero sense to bring back someone from the 0-16 team, especially since the "safety" was one of the most embarrassing moments in NFL history.
At least he has some upside. Dan Orlovsky is one of the worst backups in the league. I still don't understand why he's on the team. Why did they bring back a guy who was on the 0-16 team?!
In the intro it now says 125 All Americans compared to previous years when it was 78. Anyone know what happened? Did they not count them properly before or did the NCAA records books change.
