Maybe other teams have figured out Nyquist and Tatar. I was also expecting a lot more from Jurco this year. If they lose in the 1st round again, Holland needs to trade some of the young players for a proven commodity. By the time they put it together, it will be time for Pavel and Z to retire.
Babcock wants to be the highest paid coach in the NHL. There's zero chance of him coaching at Michigan. His style of coaching does not suit us anyway. Michigan is a finesse team and Babcock loves playing grinder style hockey, which is ruining the Wings. I really miss the days when the Wings were fun to watch, without Datsyuk this team is boring.
Michigan Football without a doubt. I have never been a big NFL fan, maybe it's because the Lions have sucked so bad(they really lost me during the Millen era). I've been rooting for the Patriots because of Tom Brady and over the years for teams that have former Michigan players.
During a timeout against State last night, Billy Powers was drawing up plays and Red was just standing there watching. It's starting to feel like when Joe Pa was on the sideline doing nothing.
Brendan Morrison, who scored the overtime goal that won the national championship for the Michigan Wolverines last March, was named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's player of the week after two goals in a 4-3 victory over Minnesota and three assists in the 8-4 triumph against Wisconsin. Both games were a part of the College Hockey Showcase at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
Having teams in close proximity was key. No one from Minnesota or Wisconsin will travel to Detroit for a conference hockey tournament. Notre Dame(plenty of ND fans in metro Detroit), Miami(passionate fan base) and all the Michigan schools was a different story. As a Michigan fan, I would never travel to the Xcel Center for the B1G tourney. I'm sure not many people from Columbus or State College are going to either.
It's B1G hockey, no one gives a shit about it. I would love to have the CCHA back and the majority of Minnesota and Wisconsin fans would rather play be in the WCHA. They actually played for something meaningful like the MacNaughton Cup and not some generic B1G trophy.

I hadnt noticed that Ottawa is only 6 points back of the Wings and only a point back of Boston. How did that happen?

You get swept by PSU and lose to MSU at home on Senior Night.
By neglecting goaltending for half a decade.
Defense wins championships.
It's time for a coaching change.
Every fucking time there's a trophy on the line we just can't get it done. Last week against State and now this shit...
All we needed was one period to win the conference title. This team has been through a lot... it has to pay off tonight.
I have a gut feeling we'll find a way to win this game.

JJ from Lincoln Park agrees.
Jim Harbaugh loses his mind, flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct
LSU is a 1 seed and Baylor(WTF?) a 2 seed.
BTN has the worst announcers.
We should be up by a couple goals, but Hildebrand is keeping them in the game. Without him this game would be a blowout.
In a historical sense. You can't really call the new arenas(like Xcel Center) iconic.
They can lose in the final and still make the NCAA tourney. Hopefully that means they won't be going all out tomorrow.
I don't wanna see Brad Stevens at Indiana.
I know the Joe will be gone soon, but come on... Yost has a better scoreboard.
