It’s easy to get angry and upset, but these are kids just playing a game they love. And they don’t even get paid for it (yet). Shea seems to be a great leader, I’m just not sure this offense fits him as much as we all thought it would. Might be growing pains of the new offense too, who knows. Good to see the players all have faith in him, I certainly do too.
If our head coach was anyone else but Harbaugh, the success we’ve had would be celebrated. Everyone thought that Harbaugh couldn’t do any wrong, which set everyone up for disappointment. Think about it, Harbaugh took over from a guy who didn’t wear a headset. Unfortunately it takes twice as long to fix something than the time it took to mess it up in the first place. Our record against un ranked teams is immaculate compared to what it was under Rich Rod and Hoke. We’re doing just fine. There’s problems and issues, but we’re not a dumpster fire like some people think.
It just seems like Harbaugh is so adverse to change that he absolutely refuses to change much of anything. I don’t think the offense is much different than last year, we’re just running out of shotgun. It’s also so disappointing that Shea just...doesn’t keep anymore. Not sure why that aspect of his game was taken out when it was so effective. Not much is making sense and clicking on offense, and theres only so much the defense can do.
Mental health is just as important as physical health. You wouldn’t tell someone who’s sick to “just get over it” or “it’s all in your head.” Also even though it doesn’t seem abundantly clear, we all have people who are willing to help us. Reach out to those who love you. Also be patient and kind to yourself. Sometimes being mentally though means knowing when to ask for help.
Would’ve been awesome to see him stay in the state. He seems to be fitting in well with the Patriots though. Hopefully we’re seeing a turning point for Detroit. (Fingers crossed!)
I know in this age of TV there has to be night games, but I just can’t stand them. There is nothing worse than waking up on game day and being excited, then having to sit and wait HOURS for the game to start. If I go to the game it’s a little better, but then I don’t get home until 12-1ish.
I don’t see why the XFL wants to be on par with the NFL when that clearly will just never happen. They’d be smart to try and market themselves as minor league (if that would be even possible I’m not sure.) I just don’t see anyone going head to head with the NFL.
Seeing basketball on the feed is making me so excited for the season. Also so glad to see Duncan doing well. Also his career has been wild. DIII to the NBA. Can’t believe no one else found him before we did.
This story made me all sorts of emotional. To think of what his Mother went through to get them here, and how proud she must be just gets me. What an exceptional human being he is, can’t wait to keep cheering him on.
Wow. Like if you want to sit the entire game, watch it from your couch. You’re in a stadium with 100,000 people, you’re not the only one who matters. People are ridiculous.

Once there was a man in front of us who criticized the team the entire time-then turned around and started screaming to make noise while we were on offense.
Then once I just asked (rhetorically) “what the heck are we doing?” And this old man (very loudly) yells “we’re taking a TIME OUT!” I just stared at him and was like “....yeah I know.” What I really wanted to say was “I know I’m a women so you think I might not know things-but believe it or not I know my football.”
The absolute best story, however, is also the grossest. There was a man in front of me who kept getting very close and was clearly touching or picking something up off the ground (or so I thought.) The next play I happen to look down and this guy has HIS SHOES AND SOCKS COMPLETELY OFF. Just bare feet right on that concrete. He kept them off the entire game, and also walked up the steps with shoes and socks in hand.

I’m so PUMPED for Basketball Season and this just put the cherry on top. Hopefully this puts the “Juwan has never recruited” worries to bed.

I thought MSU was supposed to have a “great defense”. Wisconsin is making them look like a high school.
