I have no problem with this. Harbaugh should be reevaluating the previous regimes players. Heitzman comes across as entitled in the article. Did he even try out? Was he afraid to be evaluated? I say good riddance, it's time to change the culture.
It's sad that Jehu and Shane are on this list. I don't think they belong, but I can't think of too many players to replace them with. This team really lacks proven talent. However, I think we will see quite a few breakout players this year. So, there is that to look forward to.
My guess is 8m/year with the contract being the largest in terms of overall value. 12 year contract at 8 per year would have the total value at 96m putting it above the rumored 90m Notre Dame is getting.
Ugh, no please. Lets not turn college football into the NFL. This looks like a huge money grab. 16 teams in a playoff is too much, it would really dilute the product.
Elite 11 is a nice event to showcase a QB's skillset. However, a lot of recruiting analysts will only give small to moderate increases/decreases to a QB's overall ranking. A lot of analysts have over/undervalued prospects through the years, so they have toned down the emphasis on the event.
I said SIGNIFICANTLY higher. I am conceding that MIchigan's new contract with Nike would be higher.
Like I said to another poster...I only brought up FSU because they're Nike's largest contract. Alabama, and OSU are also Nike schools that make less than FSU.
It's not just FSU, I only mentioned FSU because they have the most lucrative contract with Nike.
Michigan's new rumored contract would be more than double what Nike is paying FSU, Alabama, and OSU.
I understand that Michigan is a national brand, but the contract would be paying 2.5X Nike's current highest contract. I just don't see them paying that.
Bush is small, but like you said he does play hard.
Could see him at SS as well. He looks fluid.
Another LB I would love to have is McCulloch("The Shark"). IMO he is one of the best OLB in the country. Seems to have legitimate interest in MIchigan too.
If I had to guess I would say that Wiltfong heard the frontrunners were Michigan and Auburn. He chose Auburn due MIchigan not being able to haul in highly-touted defensive lineman. Especially lineman with huge offer sheets.
It really comes down to how well MIchigan performs in it's first year with Harbaugh. Can the team win 7-9 games and look real competitve. The team has to show major growth, maybe by winning a rivalry game or something like that.
If Auburn makes the playoff or wins a national title, then I think they have him.
I didn't think it was that bad. Harbaugh was just being Harbaugh. Colin wanted a more enthusiastic responses. I don't think that Colin should've cut it short. However, the interview could've been handled better on both sides.

You're welcome
Yes, he did get in for RB.
Jaw Jacker is great. I would recommend Ichabod, it's a pumpkin ale made by New Holland. It's fantastic!
Cheers to Michigan brews, and Go Blue!
I don't like that Harbaugh turned them down. You gotta talk with BTN.
Utah is just a bunch of satin worshippers.
Fantastic post! Thank you, Dawkins. I feel a lot more confident with Ruddock at the helm.

I think it's because Ondre Pipkins is in the photograph...
Kudos Fleet, you beat me to it.
Winning is all that matters, but there needs to be some element of doing it right and graduating players so here are my numbers:
Winning: 20
Doing it right: 5
Graduating Players: 5

Yep. It seems to be trending that way :(
However, with a solid season I think we can improve our chances.

Supposed to be released today...not sure exactly the time. Has there been an update to delay the announcement?
54 is too many!!!! I can't take it anymore!!
Bates - Livonia
Mason's Bar and Grill - Livonia
Sidetrack - Ypsilanti
Is that caption in official maize?
Yeah, that's much better. You're right, looks totally different with the blue. Thanks.
I went with FCFB25. I thought the official maize looked too orange. I prefer the lighter yellow, but not the one that was too light.
To me maize should be the color of corn and FCFB25 represents that the most to me.
I like the away gloves. Everything else is terrible.
OSU. I would love to spoil their season. Should be undefeated when they come to A2.
Adidas is 3rd best. Under armour passed Adidas in revenue recently.

Gotta be...
60% Ohio State
30% Michigan State
10% Alabama

I highly doubt that we're getting a significantly larger amount than Florida State. I will believe it when I see it.
If so, Nike is setting a precedent to pay all of it's bigger clients significantly more.
This news turned around my morning! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I love that kid's film. Great size for a Mike.

I thought that was strange as well.

Thinking that LB would be Devin Bush Jr.
Auburn. I really see Gary's recruitment boiling down to Michigan and Auburn. My opinion is based off of recruitnik tweets, and my gut-feeling.
I will give a slight edge to Michigan, but if Auburn has a great season they will land him.
I would love it if he came here, but I don't want to get my hopes up.
Phenominal player, HOF'er, MVP, and helped us win a few cups.....
Spurned the Wings' in 2002 to head to Anaheim. Got a lot of flack for that, well deserved too.
The positives far outweigh the negatvies, so I think his jersey belongs in the rafters.
My copy shipped out yesterday, will be here tomorrow. Can't wait to read it!
Great aquisition by the Wings'. Been a while since they made a big move.
Green can move the puck, right-handed shot, and he can man the point on the power-play.
LOVE THIS!
