I don't have a Targa but do have a 4S. With winter tires it handles very well in any snow/ice/sleet less than 6-8 inches, so long as you stay out of Sport or Sport+ mode. w/out the right tires the AWD is only marginally helpful.

Retnep, I could not agree more with everything you have said. Thanks for saying what I feel all the time. Michigan is one of the handful of things left that I truly have a passion for even though through a fully objective lens to an a non-sports fan it makes zero sense. I am still processing what happened last night and this season. I sat with the TV muted for an hour after the game last night when my wife came in an said "oh no, did they lose? You are too quiet!" I was in a trance of joy and disbelief that was incredibly unique. I am incredibly grateful for the anchor that this place we have is for so many of us. Go Blue!

Interesting read from a contrarian who was correct a couple times already. As they say, past performance is no guarantee of future results. The original article is PW'd from LA Times. However, here is a link.

We all hope he is right and that likelihood increases as more people comply with social distancing and common sense. I have worked on the operational side of clinical trials for 14 years and have never seen coordination like what is happening with the FDA and some BioPharm companies. In the example in the article below you might not think that is something extraordinary but the reality of a risk-averse Regulatory Authority and a risk-averse industry is that in my experience what happened here two weeks ago is unprecedented.

None of the more positive scenarios, therapies, etc.. may work out. We should be as prepared as possible for the bleaker end of the scale but we should not give up hope. Stay strong and safe my MGoBlog friends.

21+ for the event?

My 14 year old son and I came to this event last year, before the Wisconsin game and he had a great time. He won a football signed by Marlin, got some pictures and we learned about a great charity we have continued to support. He was just asking me if it was on again since we are come for the game on Saturday. Only question is now.. is it 21+ only? I am not familiar with Homes Brewery. Thanks and Go Blue!

Can't wait

Will be there with my 13 y/o son. Section 10, row row 4 for basketball and section 108 row 8 for hockey. Dinner at Uncle Jack's Steakhouse on 9th ave between games. Not too bad for the neighborhood. GO BLUE!

Not sure what that has to do with tickets for a game

On January 30th but anyway....

Tickets for Hoops/Hockey DH @MSG

FWIW, I picked up two tickets for the MBB/Hockey Double Header ay MSG yesterday, by calling the PSU ticket office,1800NITTANY. I had no issue getting the $205 seats, the step down from $500 VIP. Can only get them by calling and the tickets won't be sent until early January, no idea of exact seats until they get here. Only downside, I am now on the PSU ticket mailing list....

The campus is a dump

not a lot to see there. I'm still going, as it will be my son's first chance to see the football team live. Have a parking pass for the Purple lot. Stop on by, just look for the two foolsin the rain with the kick ass Michigan cornhole set up that the wife surprised me with a few days ago. The lot is not that big, we will be in a white denali. We are in section 108, row 2. Who knows, maybe they will surprise us tomorrow...Go Blue!
