Bosa may not return this year if it doesn't heal quickly and correctly.  Sports hernias can take longer for some to recover from. This dude is a freak in strength, which puts tremendous pressure on his core. He wont risk a re-injury if he isn't 100%. He is a lock for Top 3 in draft. He may wait until playoffs or bowl game.

I agree, I don't think he is physically ready to take on the best Defense Ends just yet. Let him play some against inferior talent and ease him into the position. He needs a year to mature, gain weight, and get stronger in the weight room. He looks to "have it", just need to be patient.

Their head coach left for a payday, he WASN'T fired. Totally different than what Harbaugh walked into.

If you watch the play they had both Bush and Higdon drop in coverage but dropped too deep and couldn't get to Wimbush before he got to the first down. I was very disappointed with both of their performances. I watched the replay again and they took themselves out of so many plays with poor angles and not playing their keys. Hudson is not good in space.

I watched part of that game and I would say the FSU entire OL is awful. They couldn't run or pass block.

Must have used it in place of his prophylatic that he forgot to bring....

I could see it being Jeter, he was talked about highly last Fall, but this year he didn't make the 2 deep and I believe it was Brown who said he needed a little more work... Can't remember how he worded it. But it came across like he wasn't developing as they had hoped.

I read recently that MSU has had 9 kids transfer since JAN.

We knew UM D would be solid because many of the 10 new starters played significant snaps in 2016. Plus we had a wild card in Winovich.

I don't remember PSU rolling lots of D replacements throughout the game.  I believe they will take a big step back and will rely on their QB McSorely to score enough points to make up for their D's shortcomings. 

Like a few have said,  it really depends if his fracture requires surgery.  If the displacement fracture is greater than 2-3mm they will have to go in. Hopefully it isn't that severe and he can get back to non contact conditioning in 4-6 weeks.

My bad, I remember him leaving his first NBA game with foot injury. I never followed his career closely and thought it was his feet that forced his retirement.

Patterson will be effective in both RPO and Pro Sets. The key will be to keep the D guessing. 

I would save the designed runs for special games and down and distance.

Against ND I would come out with a heavy look only to shift out with Gentry and Evan's and give it a spin downfield. Sending a message from the get go...

Safeties must play much better to beat any of the Top teams this year, especially PSU, MSU, and OSU, who will spread the field.

Peters made a huge leap this year. He pushed Patterson hard. He really is a bright kid and reads defenses very well, plus he has a thorough knowledge of the Harbaugh Offense.

If Patterson gets dinged, Peters will step in and move the Offense!!

The problem with the WR group is the entire 2016 class is no longer with the team and then we have 2 more WR from 2015 leave this Fall camp. 

I believe Ambrey will be taking many more snaps at WR now with TB down for several weeks at a minimum.  Ambrey was taking a few in case this happened and now it has, so he will be a great WR. IMO I think he may turn out to be better WR than CB and that is saying something!!!

If it was a full practice, sure thing, but an hour of ?? and there will be no interaction with fans after, was the deciding factor. 

Played well the previous year, against the bad teams. He was horrible against IOWA, OSU, And FSU. Speight wasn't going to lead UM to any B1G Championship.

I agree Frost is looking 2-3 years down the road. He knows he doesn't have the team to challenge this year, so he will sacrifice a few games(possibly), to ensure a brighter future. Harbaugh should have done this last year with Peters after Speight sucked in the Spring scrimmage.

If he is not visible at practice tonight it will further the speculations. However, it can all be put to rest if he is dressed and participating in the open practice. This is a perfect time for an open practice. Everyone attending will be able to see for themselves who is dressed and who isn't participating. Unfortunately I live over 2 hours away and won't be making the drive for a 60 minute "walk thru".....

If Gary's shoulder continues to be an issue, he may need to have surgery after the year to fix this issue. Pretty hard to hand fight giant OT with 1 arm. He may have a nerve issue caused by too many stingers. This leaves the shoulder weak, but comes back quickly with rest.

Very thin after Crawford and McDoom left. The class of 2016 have all transferred out... Ambrey has been taking snaps at WR since Crawford left. He may actually be a better WR than CB, when the dust settles. He was great at the Nike Camp.
