Not renewing. Cost-benefit…

Not renewing. Cost-benefit isn't there for me anymore.  Ill still be down for the big games and the home opener most years.

I have decided not to renew…

I have decided not to renew my season tickets this year.  Season tickets are just not a good value any longer for me.

I will save a significant a amount of money and go to the 3-5 games I choose to attend.

I got turned down by numerous family friends to transfer the tickets.

The demand for tickets over the next few years will be interesting.  Even with Harbaugh and continued success, I believe there are many like me that don’t get receive value any longer.

Forever Go Blue!

I’m not renewing my season tickets and would like to offer them to transfer to someone here.

Leave an email if interested.

Thanks and always Go Blue!

Win or Lose I’m a diehard. I…

Win or Lose I’m a diehard. I’ll watch every second, blowout win or loss.

After the MSU loss my decision has been made to NOT renew my season tickets.

I debated not renewing this season, but ultimately renewed.

Couple personal thoughts(38 years old)

Non-conference scheduling is underwhelming.

Season Tickets Cost vs StubHub

I’ll just over pay for the 2-3 games I want to attend and still save substantial money.

Games are too long especially with Fox TV timeouts.

Assuming there are thousands of people like me the athletic department is in big trouble moving forward.

Go Blue till I die.

10 mg is a standard edible…

10 mg is a standard edible dose. They are sold in all types of strengths. I prefer to “Micro-dose” 2-5 mg every hour or so.  You’ll get a nice body buzz comparable to wine.  Very different experience in comparison to smoking /vaping cannabis flower.

Homebrewed Belgian Saison,…

Homebrewed Belgian Saison, smoked pork carnitas, Torch Lake, West Branch and Millersburg.

The lakes are fun, but with the lack of light pollution in Millersburg makes the stars on a clear night unbelievable.  Gives me chills thinking about it.

I would highly recommend…

I would highly recommend finding a local home brew club, sit in on a couple brew days and see if you still are interested.  A good mentor is invaluable. There are many little things that can make or break your successfulness at homebrewing.

Homebrewing for ten years…

Homebrewing for ten years also. 10 gallon igloo mash tun, two 15 gallon stainless kettles. All grain, BIAB, and still do an occasional extract brew.

I exclusively keg my beer, three tap keezer in the basement.  So much easier to avoid oxidation and less cleaning overall.  I brew a lot of fruited sour beer, because they are delicious and very expensive to buy commercially.

This summer I’m brewing a ton of Saisons to keep my carbohydrates at a minimum. Down 70 pounds with a HFLC diet.  Be carful with the craft beer and home brew, you will pack on the LBs in a hurry.

Currently on tap Citra and Mosiac hoppy saison, a funky, tart saison and a tart cherry Belgian dubbel soured with Roselare and Jolly Pumpkin Dregs.

Currently in kegs or fermentors, dark funky saison, 3 year old BugCounty lambic, 20 gallons of various age and different fruited sours for blending. Also a Miller light clone lagering with a heavy dose of Citra hops.

Pee strips only show excess…

Pee strips only show excess ketones your excreting from your body. It “works” well early before your Keto adapted because your body doesn’t know what to do with the Ketones and pees them out.  Once your Keto adapted and your body is using ketones efficiently their useless.

I highly recommend starting…

I highly recommend starting with cutting your carb intake to under 100 grams per day for 3-6 months before jumping into Keto.

If your going to jump in head first into Keto I’d recommend Dr. Longo’s fasting mimicking diet WITHOUT he calorie restriction for 5 days to jump start Keto.  Basically 3 or 4 Avacados a day with good salt and Macadamian nuts to satisfy your sweet tooth and snaking habit.

It is makes for a easier transition to the more extreme Keto diet. Track all your food on MyFitnessPal for a couple months.  It doesn’t hurt measure foods for a white to better understand what a portion actually is.

My final recommendation is to double what ever you current steps per day average is.  Make a point to walk more, it won’t feel like actual cardio.

I use intermittent fasting from 10 p.m to 2:00 p.m.  I busiest in the morning and I find I’m more clear and energized fasted.  Black coffee and water.  I can’t say how much IF has helped me with my weight loss but I personally like it.

I droppped the first 50 pounds limiting processed foods and keeping total carbohydrates under that 100 gram threshold.  It came off slow and steady, but it always felt like it wasn’t working in the moment.  Scale weight isn’t everything take pictures before to keep you motivated.

Keto was a natural next step for me after low carb for a solid year. I really enjoy Keto foods. Burgers, Ribeyes, smoked beef and pork ribs. So many Eggs!  I eat a lot of collard greens and Swiss chard with grass fed butter and coconut oil.  Cauliflower and broccoli with homemade ranch, blue cheese and French onion dip.  Almonds and pistachios in moderation.  Pecan and Macadamian nuts in excess.  Avocados and fatty cheese if your body handles dairy well.  Zevia Soda at night works well for my occasional sweet tooth.

Good luck and Go Blue!

I highly recommend planting I highly recommend planting raspberries. They are delicious, highly productive, and spread like crazy. Try a couple different varieties in different areas. Be aware they will take over, I give away dozens of plants to friend every year. I have one variety called Joan J that is thornless and more kid friendly. Edit: I forgot to mention I also grow hops for my home brew. Cascade, Centennial, Columbus and Chinook
Valentine Gin, lime water and Valentine Gin, lime water and fresh lime Planted the garden yesterday, a pretty good sized raised bed. I try to be as organic as possible. This year I planted 8 different tomatoe varieties including some hybred and heirlooms. Cucumber, green beans, wax beans, cauliflower, radish, collard greens, carrots, onions, Swiss chard, mustard greens, basil, mint, rosemary and thyme. Also have a couple patches of raspberries and 8 blueberry bushes. Really looking forward to growing some legal Indica bushes next spring.

Looking forward to the Looking forward to the possibility of an upgrade. I see two tickets I’d love and only 11 day to wait.
Oatmeal, Milk, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal, Milk, Peanut Butter, Bananas and Cinnamon. Pre workout health food. Had a neighbor that would eat wonder bread, mayo and American cheese sandwiches. I always just assumed his parents didn't like him, until I read this thread.
Swan Valley Alum

Swan Valley Alum here.

Frankenmuth chicken is waaaaay overrated.

Watched Muth knock off Ithaca this year in the playoffs.  Impressive team win on the road.

The Frankenmuth Brewery has improved there on premise beer thanks to a new head brewer.  The bottle and draft stuff is all contract brewed out of state.  I will say the buffalo chicken egg rolls at the Brewery are on point.  The Black Forrest is closed and for sale.

Another shout out to the Lager Mill craft beer store and beer museum.  Good selection and pricing.

Indoor pool with kids are fun.  I can just picture WD, full on Jordan gear, on the weekend at the pool by himself eating chicken.

Home brewed Belgian Dubbel Home brewed Belgian Dubbel while I roast a turkey. Trying to Spatchcook the turkey for the first time. Wish me luck!
Great advice above.  Protip:

Great advice above.

Protip: On your baby shower invitation ask guests to bring baby/childrens book instead of a card.  Reading to your baby is great for bonding and for the baby's brain development.

I am impressed by the amount

I am impressed by the amount of Craft Beer drinkers here!  I am drinking a Homebrewed Session Wheat IPA (All Citra Hops).  Go Blue
