At the game At the game right now. Hutchinson is legit! Mayfield runs well but needs strength. McGrone hasn’t don’t much
Sounds like Sounds like Gruden
Gym rat Beat me to it
Met McCaffrey Met McCaffrey at the Army game. Nice kid, pretty tall, but definitely needs a couple of steak sandwiches with every meal.
Keith Washington? Keith Washington?
I'm on my way I'm on my way to San Antonio now for the game tomorrow. It's become a tradition and a trip we look forward to every year. I usually post interesting things that happen during the autograph session after the game. Some of the memorable things that have happened: 1. Talking and joking around with Jake Butt ( who was tiny back then) and an injured Chris Fox. They seemed like good friends. 2. Derrick Greens mom hinting at where he was going to commit by saying " well you know what they say, blue and yellow make green". He commited a few weeks later. 3. Listening to a guy dressed in all Clemson gear telling Levert Hill he needed to get up there soon if he wanted a spot. 4. Meeting Mason Cole and his family. Great kid and family 5. Jordan Elliot and his family being excited to see someone in all Michigan gear (me) at the game. Actually wanted to take a pic with me.......decomitted days later (maybe that ones not so great)

Ghostbusters Ghostbusters and Jaws. I can watch both movies over and over again and never get tired of them

Make the kids Make the kids run the track while I'm glued to my phone
That's the guy Kids today with their complicated names......in my day you were either Darrell or Terrell not both........grumble grumble.....
Maybe Maybe Harbaugh is making the tackle depth chart more enticing for the top 2 tackles were leaders for next year. Wilson and Terrell (I think). Just my little conspiracy nugget
VTL Fellow ATO!! Ruh Rah!
Not the article I wasn't referring to the article. I was speaking from experience. I'm the coach in my post. I can see where the confusion is.
Not easy As a coach in the public school system you have to walk a very fine line with kids these days. It's hard to teach life lessons, incorperate tough love and fight against the "everyone gets a participation trophy" mentality when this generation has such high levels of self-entitlement. All it takes is one kid to not get his way and have his feelings hurt and your ass is on the line....
Least worried Hill was the one signature on my Army AA ball I was most worried about not coming to Michigan and Elliot was the least I was worried about...... Crootin
Hope your right Of all the players I met at the Army AA game Elliot was the most excited to see someone in a Michigan sweat shirt as well as his family. Really out going, great kid. Told him it would be cool to finally have someone from Texas to cheer for at Michigan.
I had planned to take that I had planned to take that day off (yes, my recruiting addiction has reached that level) but can only take so many days off as a PE teacher
Longest day That's going to be the longest day of work ever....
Hope Really hope that Elliot stays committed and Hill eventually commits or else my army all American ball is ruined :( I know it's frowned upon to post paid content but over on scout they have an article about big changes with those two, can anyone summarize?
Long time reader Hello all, long time reader, first time poster. I felt compelled to finally make an account so that I could make this post. My wife and I go to the Army All American game every year that Michigan recruits are involved. The first year we went we didn't know that they did a autograph session with the players on the field after the game and I was fortunate to get a ball signed by Butt, J. Lewis, D. Thomas, C. Fox and D. Green whose mother, when I jokingly asked where he might be leaning, told us " you know what they say, blue and yellow make green". A few days later he announced his commitment. The following year I got to meet Mason Cole, who was sadly the only Michigan commit that year. What a great young man, if I knew how to post pics I'd post the one he took time to take with me. His family is great as well. Anyways, the point of this post is that we went to the game today and I was able to get signatures of all the commits. I sought out David Long because the board seems sure that he's going to eventually join this great class. When I got to him I told him he had a great game and I hoped to see him in the maize and blue next year. A big smile went across his face and he replied " oh for sure" he signed my ball with a big Go Blue and I noticed that he was wearing Michigan sweat bands. So take it for what it's worth. On the flip side, Lavert Hill seemed more disinterested the whole time and was standing and talking with Clemson people....I don't know what it means. Sorry for such a long first post but I thought the David Long info would be of interest.
