[Consider] "the correlation between the UFR grade and Bredeson's standing in relation to the rest of the Oline. If Bredeson is the worst on an Oline that is average at best, and is able to grade out at C+, then the OL as a whole would be at B+ range.
No way in hell that line was a B+, not even close. The OL as a whole might have been a C+, which would necessarily indicate Bredeson as a C-/D+"
The reason I ask is because someone referred to him as a player that "struggled mightily" and cited UFR. I didn't think Bredeson was that bad as a freshman and wondered why UFR would imply that.
Novak was demonstrative, THJ was demonstrative, Stauskas was demonstrative, heck Irvin is demonstrative when he heats up. Wagner being demonstrative certainly isn't "totally out of left field" here.
We are coming down to Ann Arbor from the U.P. (and Wisconsin). You're more than welcome to tailgate by/with our group of 10-15. Email me at [email protected] if you want.
Wilson probably won't make the roster. Gipson is a lock to start at FS and Jalen Ramsey will probably be the primary backup there. There is already a battle at SS between Cyprien/Sample and maybe Josh Evans. Jags will probably roll with:
SS: Cyprien, Sample
FS: Gipson, Evans
The good news is Cyprien and Sample are nothing special, so maybe the Jags try to keep him around on the practice squad.
They do get cut a check to cover rent, food, etc. It's quite a bit more than someone would need if they were budgeting, too. It's not like players have to work a part time job to get by.
I post with one of his former HS coaches on a different forum. He defined Lasater as "truly a freak athlete" and that Lasater has perservered through some tough years recently.
Huge Jaguars fan here (believe it or not), and I was elated when the Jags drafted Robinson. The staff seems to like Denard quite a bit and he has shown some nice flashes, but he has been a huge liablity with his fumbles and dropped passes. I think he will remain on the roster through summer and his roster spot will depend on whether or not he can fix those issues with his hands. It really seems like mostly a mental thing, so I'm holding out hope.
The Packers signed him to a futures contract which is different than a practice squad contract. Futures contracts have the same minimums as active roster contracts.
Random bump. Going into the draft, there were about 6 teams legitimately looking at him and half were looking at him as a DT and the other half an OG. He is most certainly playing defense and they signed him to a futures contract so he is still there and will be there this offseason.
If that Packers didn't sign him, he certainly would have been picked up by someone this summer for another shot. It's cool that it's with the Packers, though, because their DLine coach is former Michigan coach Jerry Montgomery.
I can't post new content so I'm gonna post this here. Someone on a different forum was insisting that Michigan's class ranking was built on quantity, not quality. I went through and looked at the other teams that rounded out the top 10 to come up with this:
Lol. The more I look into this, the more silly you sound.
Current overall rankings:
5. Michigan
6. USC
7. Ole Miss
8. Clemson
9. Georgia
10. Auburn
Scores using 247's calculator:
Michigan top 20 recruits: 278.25
USC's top 20 recruits: 271.73
Ole Miss' top 20 recruits: 277.14
Clemson's top 20 recruits: 274.90
Georgia's top 20 recruits: 275.61
Auburn's top 20 recruits: 270.12
Scores using 247's calculator:
Michigan's top 10 recruits: 222.17
USC's top 10 recruits: 217.18
Ole Miss' top 10 recruits: 220.89
Clemsons's top 10 recruits 220.90
Georgia's top 10 recruits: 220.78
Aurburn's top 10 recruits: 214.79
Michigan has higher a higher rated top 10 and a higher rated top 20 than every other team currently ranked 5 through 10. In other words, Michigan has a top 10 class in terms of both quantity and quality

Would you go as far to say that he "struggled mightily"?

I don't get why my post numbers are all messed up. You guys were cheering about finally hitting 500 in posts numbered in the 460s and such.
And the (reply to #_ _) number is never, ever matching the number actually being replied to.
I suck at this forum.
and yet here you are.
What?
Najee is less Saquon Barkley and more Todd Gurley.

I still like our LBs
That's just simply not true. Let's look at an offensive line made up of the top recruits in Hoke's final 3 classes:
OT Kalis 6'5 300
OG Bosch 6'5 305
C Kugler 6'4 270
OG Dawson 6'4 280
OT Magnuson 6'6 275
Now a look at a projected (because of Filiaga not being committed) Harbaugh offensive line from his first 3 classes (actually 2.5 classes):
OT Newsome 6'6 290
OG Bredeson 6'5 307
C Ruiz 6'3 315
OG Onwenu 6'6 360
OT Filiaga 6'6 335
Those are not similar weights. Not even close. Ruiz is way bigger than any Hoke center. Filiaga is huge. Onwenu is even more huge.
Novak was demonstrative, THJ was demonstrative, Stauskas was demonstrative, heck Irvin is demonstrative when he heats up. Wagner being demonstrative certainly isn't "totally out of left field" here.
Has JB ever redshirted a PG?

What Matt meant to say is "I'm trying to shamelessly plug my recruiting site and hope these people like my info more than Scouts".

Is this saying that the net gain of Michigan athletics was less than $2 million? I feel like that can't be right, but maybe I'm missing something.

Oh, Jim. You hit me right in the feels.
I think votes reset each round.
Losing 49-39 now.

I'm shocked there isn't a Darboh stiffarm GIF created yet. Our fanbase is slacking.
Well, Will Campbell is only attracted to fat chicks. Most people who know him know that. Again, most guys wouldn't brag about something like this.
I doubt WC cares much about the 6 (at best) you bought a drink for one night at Studio 4. Most guys don't brag about that kind of stuff.
Both.
