For all of the energy, joy…

For all of the energy, joy and positivity that you have sown into this Blog, I hope you and your family reap back 1000 fold. My thoughts are with you and your family.  Take care.

Thank you Seth!  Even Brian…

Thank you Seth!  Even Brian couldn’t have wrote a better piece.  My first experience with Michigan football was listening to Ohio St destroy Michigan in the 1968 version of The Game as my dad buzz cut my hair.  I didn’t like what I was hearing but because I was only 8 years old it only made me a bit irritated because my dad was irritated.  My dad took me and my two brothers to the 1969 version of The Game — a truly defining moment in my life and cemented my dedication to Michigan and Michigan football.  I had a hell of a run getting to root for my team for the next 40 years without a losing season.  Then came the losses.  And more losses.  And more losses.  But I am a true fan.  I always root for my team through thick and thin.  Michigan will always be Michigan and I will always look forward to the football season. And I will always hope for another big ten championship.  Thank you again for everything you have done.  Stay true and GO BLUE!

What I hate most about FOX…

What I hate most about FOX Sports CFB is their insistence on marketing BIG Noon Kickoff and putting marque games like Wiscy vs. PSU and Wiscy vs. ND at 12 noon ET rather than at 3:30pm ET.  It's completely insane.  Why are they running scared of the SEC game of the week at 3:30pm ET.  Go head to head and let the better game win.  Don't freakin' concede the 3:30pm ET time slot.

Thank you for posting this! …

Thank you for posting this!  My time in a union was much more positive than negative.  And my biggest lesson learned is that a strong union is based on broad and active participation from its members.

Thank you OP!  I fully…

Thank you OP!  I fully support Jim and I’m very much looking forward to the 2021 football season.

I am very pleased to see…

I am very pleased to see that the president of my alma meter is characterizing the current pandemic properly and setting appropriate expectations for when students and other members of the university community can return to campus.

Seeing the current behavior of some individuals gives me the impression that they are either willfully ignorant or consciously selfish.  What disturbs me more are those who want to turn the health crisis into a political rallying cry.

Simply put, people need to "suck it up", change their behavior, and practice social distance and where masks.  For god's sake, when did caring about others get equated with infringing on people's personal rights and freedoms?  This is the least people can do to protect health workers and hourly wage earners in the service industry who have no choice but to work. Rather than advocating for reopening the economy haphazardly, how about advocating for a new federal spending bill to give those making under $75K a year a monthly $2000 check and to give real small businesses, like restaurants and bars, no interest loans so that folks can get through this pandemic in the safest manner possible?

I like our coach's proposal…

I like our coach's proposal.  It, or pieces of it, have a somewhat realistic shot of being adopted by the NCAA.  But I would propose the following changes:

1. Let the players get paid by whomever and whenever.

2. All members on the football team are not required to attend classes during their 4 years of eligibility.

3. All members of the football team are granted a 4-year scholarship, which they can take at any point in their life.

4. While on the football team, the University is obligated to provide life skills to all the members of the team, including reading, writing, and basic math.

I am sick and tired of…

I am sick and tired of reading the stories from Michigan beat writers that the team couldn’t overcome their miscues. The officiating was a significant factor in deciding the outcome. The players, Harbaugh, Brown, and Gattis can only be responsible for so much.  If the officiating had been less tilted towards PSU, then Michigan would have won that game.

I agree with you 100%.  Don…

I agree with you 100%.  Don’t like making excuses for the team but the refereeing was more than tilted to PSU.  Two most critical terrible calls was OPI on Collins in 1st half and DPI on Hill on PSU’s last TD “drive.”

It is ridiculous that the OP…

It is ridiculous that the OP took a handle that on first glance makes one think they are umbig11.  If the OP truly wanted to be taken seriously they would have chosen a different handle.  But instead, the OP obviously chose to ride on umbig11's coat tails and scavenge off umbig11's well earned reputation.

I absolutely loved the Ghoul…

I absolutely loved the Ghoul.  He inspired me to blow up all my monster models (except for Godzilla).  Although I loved those models, I never regretted my decision to blow ‘em up.

Gotta go with DIRECTV I faced the same problem. Finally switched to DIRECTV, which compared to Comcast is WAY better. An added plus is I don't have to put with pixelation.
Looks awesome. I'll be biking with an enthusiasm unknown to humankind.
Very interested. [email protected]
