Jim Harbaugh contract extension NEGBANG

As we know, no minds are ever changed online.

So let's purge the negativity from our souls one last time and henceforth resolve to support Jim.

Looks very real to me.  I have cut limbs like that before and you wouldn’t catch me on a ladder doing what this guy did.  I would tie a rope, cut it a little bit to the point it’s loose, and then pull it down.  The size of the limb in the GIF could have easily killed him.

i'm not sure that more than a handful of folks on this list even own a chainsaw, much less have an idea how to properly use one.  and even with those that do, most of them wouldn't be able to properly pronounce words like 'stihl' or 'jonsered',but would want to know if they are a 4* or 5* recruits

Fuck off. There’s plenty of that in the extension OP. Same shit being spewed that has been in every thread even remotely linked to football.
It must suck to be as unhappy and pessimistic as some of you people are on MGOBLOG!

I'm perfectly happy. Not about the extension,  I've stopped caring about the program so I'm far more happy now than I was when I wasted my time caring for a program that in itself does care. I hope for those of you that still blindly follow this program that one day it can be good again.  I just don't see it happening and I've got better shit to do with my time and energy.

The administration just set the standard that 1-9 the last two games of the season (I’m not counting 2020 in that) and a combined below .500 record to: MSU, PSU, Wiscy & Iowa not only doesn’t get you fired, you can get a contract extension.
I’m speechless at how badly this program has fallen apart over the last 16 years.

Wow, that's a damn optimistic take! Purge negativity from the souls of those on this board?! That's a monumental task. I know the extension displeases many in the fanbase, but sometimes the stable path is the best path. I don't necessarily prefer changing coaches virtually every 4 year recruiting class. I understand, though, because everyone loves shiny new objects,

I'm as checked out on football as I get and thusly ready for change. Never understood the depths of the negativity though.

Keep at it and maybe we get '16 or '18 with an OSU win might not be the best plan but it's certainly not the worst.

We don't get that new coach smell and optimism, but at least we didn't hire the next RichRod or Brady Hoke.

Nothing to it but to do it at this point.  We are all ride or die no matter what, now.  I do know one thing, based on how bad things have been, especially last season, there has to be nowhere to go but up.  Go Blue

I'm disappointed, but the deal is done... Just have to hope for the best now.

I think he's lost it, but maybe the new coordinators will make a difference...

I'm more than happy to put forward my mea culpa if he manages to get back up to 9-10 wins next year.

This thread ... Is a great idea. I think Michigan would have been better off moving on from Harbaugh but I am not going to step out onto a ledge over this. Next fall I will cheer for my coach and my team just as loudly as always. Hopefully there is a great turnaround. If there is not, the reduced buyout means Harbaugh will be easy to fire.

Go Blue.
