How many teams in the playoff use a pro style offense? The last time we came close to beating OSU Devin ran for at least four first downs in critical third down situations. We are just not PLAYING TO WIN.
As much as I would love to see Michigan put it all together on offense and take it to Wisconsin I just don't think we have the talent to do it. UM and Freshmen don't get the benefit of the officials, Gary won't get holding called against him and DJP won't get the interference. I see our defense playing like the last play of the OSU game last year....just nobody getting through. It will take one hell of a game plan on both sides of the ball to get the win.
Harbaugh needs OL recruits to match his offensive goals. You can't close games and control the clock with project guys. He needs five star difference makers not 2-3 year projects if he wants to get to the playoff.
Despite getting kicked in the teeth I thought our team played with good effort with exception of our DB's who were seen dancing with the defense all night with little effort to break away. Not sure if they're great or we are weak but should be a lesson for our young receivers. If they can blcok like PSU we'd have 250/300 yards a game.
Yea he's big, stron and painfully slow. He will get crushed by the speed rush every single time. There is a reason coaches are looking for "more athletic" lineman.
Seems like our focus in recruiting has been on the defense; tons of four star LB's, CB's, and DE's. What about the immediate help on the offensive line? Ekiyor is no sure commit, Filiaga looks like Bushell Beatty, Mayfield is a 2/3 year project and Ruiz isn't good enough to start. Newsome has a long road in front of him. I want to stay positive but damn.

I'd rather see Michigan play at Penn State at night than Iowa. Just like MSU seems to have our number we have Penn States. We win 21 to 10.
