Good for him. He's struggled on offense this year, but seems to be regaining his touch. He seems like a good guy. A thoughtful guy. A guy that his coach and teammates never doubted.

although he is so damn hot right now, I think I feel good about this.

He's such an emotional guy and an emotional player, it could go either way. His game looks great right now, though. There's a whole different lift on his shot right now.

If he gets going good we may just be in business

I'm from Fishers as well but about 10 years older.  I'm still close with a lot of the teachers from our high school (HSE) and they all have nothing but wonderful things to say about his time there and his character. Just a great all around kid. I'm so proud of him and I don't even know him! Get it done in Indy, Zak!

said on Senior Day that they weren't done yet. He and Walton are on a mission. Donnal, Zak, Dakich and I think Lonergan are all from Indiana. They seem excited about playing there.

I'm sure he knew he was getting abused by fans.  His play warranted it.  But I'm just as impressed how he's bounced back and really adjusted his game to help the team win.  Yes, he's always good for at least one or two bad turnovers, but he's making more shots now than mid season and I love him taking it to the basket (as long as there's an opening).

Dude deserves some respect.  Going out in style.  Hopefully, he can keep it going along with the rest of the guys.  Great job Zak!

GO BLUE!!

Proud of that kid. I was frustrated with the "hero ball" he was trying to play so often, but it really seems like he's got some feel back and that "hero ball" bailed our ass out all through the tournament. No way we win without his gutty defense and balls on offense, creating when others weren't. Cheers to Zak.

State of Indiana has been good to Michigan. The past 5 years we seen players such as GR3, Mitch McGary, Spike, Zack Novak, Andrew Dakich, Zac Irvin and Stu Douglass come from the state.

a few days ago. If Irvin lays as well as he has we're going deep into the tourney. This was before his last 2 or 3 games as well. It looks like it clicked. He stopped thinking about the moment and is just living it. Very excited to see what we can do.
