Wolverine on Wolverine Violence

Submitted by Swayze Howell Sheen on May 2nd, 2020 at 7:05 PM

I was thinking about some of Tom Brady's biggest negative moments in the playoffs, and it seems like an odd number of them directly involved another Wolverine:
- The tuck rule non-fumble against the Raiders and Charles Woodson
- The game ending interception against Indy by Marlin Jackson
- The game ending strip sack against the Eagles and Frank Clark

Are there other examples of Tom Brady vs Wolverine?

Also, are there other famous examples of Wolverine on Wolverine NFL (or NBA?) violence?

Discuss.

everybody misses the 15 yd penalty that should've been called for a blow to the head, specifically brady's head that precedes the alleged fumble.  that was the wolv v. wolv. violence.  not only should the pats have kept the ball, they should've had it 15 yds closer to the endzone.

you might be confusing targeting with the rule that prohibits opposing defenses from hitting the QB in the head.

EDIT:  this should show it fairly well. i was still playing football at the time and i remember commenting that the pats got hosed b/c everyone's attention was diverted.

Someone who looks [...] like that

Quite honestly, I don't think anyone should make fun of anyone else's looks.

Nor have I ever said a thing about his GF.  That's WD's style to slander other people's family members when he doesn't get his way.

I'm not perfect by any stretch of the imagination and are there things on here I shouldn't write?  Absolutely.

But Mike takes it completely to a different level... and that's why he's earned my scorn.  And I'm not hypnotisezed enough by his by softball and field hockey posts not call out his BS like others in here are.

Mario Manningham making a "Big/Lucky" catch from Ellie Manning to keep their drive alive and eventually winning their championship.

I was going to say this exact thing. No idea how the OP forgot the Manningham catch. Literally (not figuratively) the first one I thought of when reading the OP. I guess kudos to the OP for listing several I didn't even remember. So we're even.

The second Giants superbowl, where Manningham made that incredible catch to set them up for the win.

edit: someone beat me to the punch. Mea culpa for the redundancy.
