Wolverine no look to Wolverine in McDonald's All American game
Not only having two McDonald's All-Americans in this game is fantastic but one being are first TRUE point guard makes this incoming class special.

Can they play for the men's team, too?
This is such a dumb comment lol gotta be PC though
KBA has been doing great things with the program. Go Blue!
Okay, I was looking for the no-look pass because I knew it was coming. And I still missed it and did a double-take! That was pretty sweet...
Agreed, we live in the era of the spin move in the paint (so you could see all the defenders freeze and focus on Olson) and to no-look to the trailer at that point was a thing of beauty.
The "ooh!" from the announcers is so good
I thought May nabbed two elite recruits already, then I saw it was women's hoops. Shame on you for not putting "Women's basketball" in your post and getting me all excited for nothing.
For nothing? You should be excited for the future of our women's team. I am.
And you know basketball. Bobby's flying skills were up there with Wilkins and Jordan.
Seems like a ridiculous thing to say given that the Iowa/LSU game the other night (women's) was the most captivating game of either tournament so far by miles.
The story lines on the women's side are getting better each year. Bravo to them and the athletes making it so.
I have nothing against women's hoops! I don't pay attention to it though and given the new hire of Dusty May, I just assumed it was a post about men's hoops.
I said nothing negative about women's hoops at all. Simply that I was disappointed it wasn't news about the men's team. Not sure how ya'll are coming up with this narrative that I want girls to be cheerleaders or hate women's hoops.
But keep the downvotes coming cuz clearly you're all having a bad day.
I was disappointed it wasn't news about Dusty May is all. I have nothing against the women's team.
The "shame on you" and "excited for nothing" comments are what lit the fire. Could be viewed as condescending and dismissive of the women's team.
sorry your wednesday sucks. why do you have to bring it in here?
My Wednesday is great. Sorry I was disappointed it wasn't news about men's basketball.
Jdemille thinks the girls should be kept to cheerleading...
No, I don't. Sorry I find men's hoops more interesting and was hoping it was news about Dusty May landing some elite kids.
Not sure why this is being seen as a knock at women's hoops.
LOL! Lighten up, Francis! Not everything has to be taken seriously, and not all jokes hit the mark. We know you're not an elitist, sexist pig that thinks women should be stationed in the kitchen. (You're not, right? NO!! You're not!!!)
I thought my comment was obvious enough, but apparently it wasn't. Neg vote accepted...
Not sure why you're being downvoted. I'm really glad to see women's hoops gaining traction. I also think this thread clearly should have been given a better title. I didn't take "for nothing" to be a shot at women's hoops.
I just figured with Clark's games leading NCAA in viewers, I should just put MBB in front of mens team posts to avoid confusion.
NC State vs. Duke did 15 million in viewers vs. LSU/Iowa ladies having 12.3 million. I love women's basketball and have enjoyed it more than the men's in recent years, but let's not let facts get in the way of agenda pushing. The women's growth in viewership is great and I'm all about it, but they aren't leading NCAA in viewers. They're definitely towards the top though in terms of individual games with the #2 and #9 most viewed game.

Olivia Olson and Syla Swords sound like Adam Sandler movie main characters/love interests
man loved himself some alliterative names
Superhero secret identity names
The two looked really good and there's lots to be excited about. Olson seems to have well above average handles for a 3-4.
osu had a PG in the game too who's game/style looked like female Dug (shorter, very quick, fearless). Her and Swords could be a very fun 4 years of those games.
I'm not sure what she's going to play at Michigan, but she plays a fair bit of point guard in high school/AAU.
Love to see what KBA's got cooking. These croots can ball.
Playmakers, you can never have too many!
I see some calling Olivia a 2-3 by position, but I agree with HUDL that she is a point guard.
A 6'1" point is ideal for today's women's game and she is a gifted passer (this highlight real has an even more impressive no-look pass). Yes, she can shoot it, but you can tell she gets a lot of joy from setting up teammates.

[our] first TRUE point guard
this is not correct.
Please add that it's women's basketball next time. I understand that the sport is gaining steam, but it still felt very ESPN bait-and-switchy.
