11 a.m. central kickoff. Students should be showing up just in time for Jump Around. Twitter responses sound skeptical that fans can pull it off.

It's Wisconsin - it's pretty much a given that a good portion of the contents of the stadium will be fat and white.

I don't know. Is that the student section? Maybe it's just an acknowledgment that no one will be in those sections.

Yes, it is their student section. I was there in 2001, they have the most enthusiastic student section of any stadium I have been to (have not yet been to Penn State but have attended most others).

It's definitely the student section, or at least most of the student section.
Wisconsin students are also notorious latecomers, especially for 11 a.m. local time kickoffs. I attended an Ohio State-Wisconsin game a few years ago. The student section was not more than half full at kickoff, and I think that was a 2:30 local time kickoff.

Agreed. I was there two years ago when Peters died. The student end didn't fill up until at least mid-2nd quarter. It was damn near empty at kickoff. I was confused.

That means we should try to put a big number on the scoreboard before the rowdy fans show up. I think that's the second loudest stadium in the B1G behind OSU.

In all fairness to cheese curd lovers everywhere, Wisconsin (along with NW) are probably the two B1G fan bases I've really only had good in-game experiences with. Charitable and polite, if not classy.

Your optimism is so incredibly naive. If you honestly think they're going to sacrifice any significant part of their home field advantage by showing up late when we're in town, you haven't been a Michigan fan for very long. There is no school on our schedule that doesn't have our name circled.

Buddy, this picture is during the coin toss in 2017. Wisconsin was #5 in the country. 10-0. That's the student section in the back that didn't fill to capacity until well into the 2nd quarter. There are people all over this thread that all have gone, seen for themselves and said the same thing. Maybe ease up on the insults. You're wrong.

Students come in as a single file line. Cops (lots of them) assist in this process. Must be all general admission because they fill seat by seat and row by row.

Actually, it's horizontal stripes that make you look fatter; vertical stripes have a slimming effect. Hence the pinstripe suit.
