Who should be then Top 4? Who is your Top 4?

This is my Top 4.

I have Alabama above Ohio St because I think Tua Tagovailoa is still only about 80% recovered from injury. By the time the Playoffs come in January he will be 100%, and Alabama would probably beat both Ohio St and Clemson. LSU, I don't know. Maybe even with Tagovailoa at 100%, on a neutral field, LSU might still win.  Ohio St has looked better than Clemson. So they're at 3.

Now who the coaches, AP, and especially the CFP, picks as the Top 4 will be totally different. It's still strange the CFP ever had Penn St in the Top 4 in the first place. I'm getting some enjoyment that Minnesota made them look bad.

Who is your Top 4?

Alabama is a good team but not nearly as good as in past years.  This year there are several teams that look better.

This is my top 10:

1. LSU

2. OSU

3. Clemson

4. Oregon

5. Georgia

6. Row the boat

7. Alabama

8. Baylor

9. Oklahoma

10. PSU

If Michigan finishes 10-2 they will be in my top 8.  Playoffs baby (in the future)!

EDIT: I totally forgot about Oregon.  I put them at 4.  That 4-team playoff would be incredible to watch, especially OSU - Clemson.  But that won't happen because Michigan will knock OSU off and likely out of the playoff.

10. Utah

1) LSU - no reason for them to be behind OSU at this point

2) OSU - still look like the most complete team, but LSU has a far more convincing resume.

3) Clemson - starting to round to form, but I wouldn’t pick them to beat either of the above mentioned teams

4) Georgia - I have them here for now but they could easily lose to Auburn next week and be out of the playoff picture entirely.

Tua threw for 400 yards, he was fine yesterday, Bama had 1 big game at home this year and they lost! They’re done unless LSU stumbles.

1. LSU

2. OSU

3. Clemson

4. Georgia

5. Oregon

6. Bama

So #3 Alabama loses at home and moves up to #2? OSU and LSU are clearly the best 2 teams in college football, even if Tua is at 100%. Alabama should move down to #4 or #5. I would rank it like this:

1. LSU (best win of the year and has played a tough schedule)

2. OSU (huge blowouts in every game they've played)

3. Clemson (weak as hell schedule, but still undefeated and has looked dominant)

4. Alabama (weak schedule, hasn't beaten a ranked team yet)

Georgia lost to a bad South Carolina team on their own field.  Given what the committee did with Big Ten champ 1-loss OSU last year because of that one Purdue loss, they better not even think of putting Georgia in.

1. LSU

2. Ohio State

3. Clemson

4. Oregon gets the edge here over Georgia

assuming that LSU and Georgia win out, I think that Alabama is eliminated (Alabama lost at home)...or they need both Oregon and Georgia to lose

Clemson has had an easy schedule. If they played in the SEC or B1G, who knows, perhaps a 1 or 2 loss team at this point. It's all speculation but my point is, we don't know how good Clemson is until play a legit Top 10 team.

I'll take Bama over Clemson right now at #4. Can't underestimate Bama, even in a loss at home. I do question the Bama defense but on offense, they are stacked. Loved they way Nagee played for them.

I still don't really understand the criteria for selection. Is it supposed to be the best teams or the teams with the best resume? Because the best teams are Bama, Clemson, LSU, OSU. But if you're talking about best resumes for this year, you can't include bama or Clemson and OSU would still have work to do

1. LSU

2. OSU

3. Clemson

4. Minnesota

5. Penn State

6. Oregon

7. Baylor

8. Georgia

9. Utah

10. Alabama

I don’t understand how anyone has Alabama in the top four. Their best win is to Texas A&M, a 6-3 team. Who have they beat? They need to behind teams that actually have quality wins. Minnesota  beating Penn State is way better than any Bama win. Penn State has some quality wins with one loss. Why did they drop so much more due to a loss ON THE ROAD. The Alabama lovefest is disgusting. They aren’t a top team!
